Weather: A gloomy day to end a traditional gloomy Bucs season of no playoffs. Per WTVT-TV Channel 13, tailgaters can expect to party in the rain in the morning and showers should end around 11 a.m. with temperatures in the mid-70s. When kickoff rolls around, a 16 percent chance of rain is forecast with a temperature at 78. The high for the day is expected to be 78 with a percent chance of rain.
Odds: Per the Mirage in Las Vegas, Pick ’em; O/U 47.
Outlook: It’s the battle for second place in the NFC South, live from the Den of Depression! There really isn’t much to say about this game. The reasons to watch are to see if Shaq Barrett sets a franchise record for sacks and to see if Mr. Excitement, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, reaches 5,000 yards passing (he needs 92 yards) or if he can become a 30/30 man (he currently has 31 touchdowns and 28 picks). If the Bucs win it eases the pain of another playoff-less season (12 seasons and counting), and if the Bucs lose they win (sort of) in the draft. There are a bunch of players who could be playing their final game in an ugly Bucs uniform today as they become free agents in March (unless they agree to a new contract prior to the free agency dinner bell ringing). Those players include Jason Pierre-Paul, Demar Dotson, Ndamukong Suh, Carl Nassib, Breshad Perriman, Peyton Barber, Barrett and Winston.
