Domination!
Against a crap team on the road today, our Buccaneers did exactly what they should have done — and how they should have done it. Well, almost.
After the seemingly obligatory Jameis Winston, opening-drive interception got out of the way, Tampa Bay mauled the Lions and the game appeared over at halftime.
No Donovan Smith? No problem.
No Mike Evans? Chris Godwin had a five-catch, 121-yard day and America’s Quarterback spread the ball around like a superstar. Brashad Perriman had his second career day of the season.
No running game? No surprise.
In-game hamstrings injuries to Godwin, Scotty Miller and Jordan Whitehead? Handled.
The Bucs defense stayed aggressive and you just knew Lions third-string QB David Blough would have enough issues with the Bucs’ pass rush, unique blitzes and disguised coverages.
And the Bucs got a big play from their defense, which has become a common occurrence through this four-game wininng streak. This time, it was a Sean Murphy-Bunting pick-6 with about six minutes left to play.
Now the Bucs are 7-7, and Saturday against the Texans at the Den of Depression sets up as the Bucs’ 2019 Super Bowl. It’s a chance to prove they’re for real against a good team, their last chance of the season.

I’m SOLD on Jameis.
Roller coaster he may be, but I think this was his best game as a pro for many reasons.

white liberals LOVE lamar jackson, deshaun watson, and prescott simply because they know they can overhype them and throw them away once a linebacker blows out there KNEE( i.e. cunningham, cam, rg3). Winston has been a threat to white liberals since his days at fsu. Winston would be looked at entirely different from the media if he was a running qb like Vick. Vick has been forgiven because he was not a threat from the pocket and was just eye candy.. similar to lamar jackson now. Winstons career stats compare very favorably to Peyton Manning, and white liberals can not have that. Winston is the only qb in the NFL where each and every one of the interceptions are a gif on twitter. Winston is a threat to white liberals, because due to his young age, he has a chance to break all the passing yardage records set by white qb legends of the game, and the elite can not have a black qb do that. Its the MAIN reason why the elite took so long to let Warren Moon in the NFL

The game got to be a little too close for a while. It would be nice if the Bucs didn’t keep coming up with a flat spot to start the third quarter. Maybe give up on halftime adjustments that include emphasis on the run. The run game is worthless.

I’m glad they’re moving to 7-7, especially after starting 2-6.
With that said, I’m still kinda upset considering all the basic mistakes that have lost games this year and also the lack of killer instinct from the whole team on several games when they’ve been in command.
I have a sales background and no matter what kinda numbers you run, it’s never good enough, you can always raise the bar.
I hope the Bucs feel that way.
Other than Godwin’s RAC, the offense is all fines and Jameis’ improve. If they could just add a punishing running game lead by a physical mentality, they’d be truly dominating.

Congratulations to the Bucs. Won 4 in a row. Won 5 of the last 6. First back to back 450+ yard passing by QB. Most points in a season. A defense learning to close and a play caller willing to go for the Juggler. What the hell the Juggler did to Byron I have know idea. Thought the Juggler was quite entertaining. He got up to juggling 6 baseball or 3 bowling pins. Oh. The jugular. Yeah. It’s great BL went for the jugular.

The Bucs are legit!! Over the last month we have gone into three separate cities and destroyed teams on there own turf!! That’s a big deal in the NFL. I don’t care who you play. You gotta be a good team to pull that off.
We got a good team boys. Bruce has, for sure, offically turned this team around!!! Bittersweet that we are eliminated for playoffs but we got a real good team to look forward to.
Yes I wanted more but this season has been a lot of fun watching these guys figure out how to win!!!

A fun game, so glad the Bucs didn’t shut down the offense in the 4th like they did earlier this year. Also what about that defense – they looked on the verge of collapse and instead got a pick 6. I’m afraid to write this since I think it might backfire, but is the defense becoming… clutch? If that happens – wow – this is a legit deep playoffs contender.

ElioT agreed but that requires some work on the O Line. Unless Wells just has that much to learn, this dude got his butt whooped this game and the little bit of time in the last one when replacing D Smith. In fact, it was embarrassingly bad. Now, after starting off really rough, it looks like he did get better throughout the game coupled with Byron moving Watford in on several plays to help Wells. With that said, Dotson is an issue too. He’s good enough that you would like Dotson’s depth, but we need to think about drafting the best tackle available for the right side. The O Line just doesn’t open up any holes. Marpet is a stud. I think our first area of need is on that line. We need to be nastier on run blocking. Bring Winston back on a 3 year deal which is more of a 2 year deal and lets focus the draft picks on the trenches and let this secondary continue to get better. We are on the verge of dare I say games after December.

I’ve been a tough critic of the Bucs for a long time, but I see a change in attitude with this team I give Jameis credit, the receivers credit and the play calling. BL going for the jugular is unlike what coaches in our past have done. We squandered leads because we would just sit on the ball. Now we have BL, TB and BA who will attack attack attack.
We have never see a Tampa Bay Buccaneer team like this before. Congratulations again. 416 points scored in a season is a Buc franchise record. Jameis can hit 5000 yards. Two games to go. Hope we get Godwin back.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Jay Miss had a very good game today. I think Perriman learned how to catch. Thinking about next year and Evans, Godwin and Perriman makes me feel pretty damn good about the passing game. However, we sorely need a back and another OL or two.
There’s only so much money to spread around so we’re likely to lose some folks up front on the defense.

The Bucs should be proud of how they have paid over the last six games but if you look at the wins, they have not beat a team over .500. The combined record is 20-44-2 and Arizona,Atlanta and Jacksonville has yet to play today. The Bucs are beating up on the week part of our schedule. Next week is a proving game. Houston is above .500 and fighting for a division title and playoff birth. If they win that game then I may change my title from Jameishas2go to JameisMayStay2020.

jpp needs to go not playing to his contract, over 30 and must have bad vision considering the offside penalties past 2 weeks.
Winston will be franchised and yes he played well today; would have liked more consistency to start 2nd half; didnt resume good play until the last 8 minutes of 4Q.
