Injury report update.
Bruce Arians was right. The flu-like bug is going around.
This time the victim is first-round draft pick Devin White.
The Bucs this morning downgraded White’s status for tomorrow’s season opener against the 49ers to “questionable” with what is termed as an “illness.” The virus was not specified but the team has been hit with it, as Arians discussed after practice Friday.
Bucs stud receiver Mike Evans did not practice yesterday due to having a virus. Bucco Bruce Arians did note yesterday that this viral strain seems to run its course in 24 hours.
If White cannot go, it will push back his NFL debut until likely Thursday at Carolina.

Its not the flu. Influenza lasts more than 24 hours. 3-7 days is typical.

It’s not flu season yet, if it was they’d be talking about on the news. It usually hits in the schools first, and I know plenty of people who work in schools, my wife included, and there’s nothing going around right now. If there was a mystery bug biting the Bucs, wouldn’t they all be on antibiotics just in case? Grown men in peak condition, with the best doctors money can buy shouldn’t be getting sick from some mystery illness.

The Patriots picked up AB for half the price the Raiders dealt for him. He will be able to play in 15 games. I’m sure the Patriots coaches/management are laughing their butts off.
As a football fan I think AB is is a prima donna and a piece of human feces. He got away with a weird form of extortion.
