Defends Bucs’ starter.
Admit it. When Kay Adams talks Bucs, you are in a zone.
The comely co-host of “Good Morning Football,” seen and heard weekday mornings on NFL Network, is tired and fed up with the ish tossed by fantasy football types at America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston.
The gang of four got a hold of fantasy football ratings for quarterbacks that listed Jameis at No. 21. Adams was appalled and defended America.
“The disrespect for Jameis Winston as a fantasy quarterback ends now!” Adams said, metaphorically stomping her foot down.
Adams went on to say Jameis will likely have top-12 stats and perhaps even top-10.

I think Winston plays all year, no matter what. Many reasons for that. First, he gives the best chance to win over any other QB on the roster. Yay!!! Second, he is already committed for the year ($21M) and BA is his last chance, so they will see that through. Third, they do not want to open up to criticism they didn’t MORE than needed and give him plenty of time (that will happen by his nutty crowd of apologist no matter what). There will be no doubt.
If he plays well, gives the owners a chance to re-look his other baggage and see how much signing him for a second contract will affect the fan base.
He’s got to play his way and behave his way out of any buyer’s remorse generated for the last 4 years.
But he plays all year…

As always fellow Buc fans, I’m gonna give to ya Raw. If jameis does not improve dramatically this season, I think its safe to say he will be a nice career backup and journeyman for the rest of his career. And who knows? He might have some success later on in his career. He has to break into the top 10 this year. 5 or 6 yrs is enough time Jameis. If now now..When?

Jameis was my starting QB in fantasy and he led my fantasy team to the promised land. He is nowhere near the 21st ranked fantasy QB and that is absolutely ridiculous to have him ranked there. All the haters like Pitts acting like he’s done nothing over his career are morons. I didn’t pick JW as my fantasy QB as a homer, it was a business decision. He puts up stats. I also don’t want to hear about his record. There are 52 other players on game day. JW has led the team to many fourth quarter comeback only to watch as the defense did nothing to stop the opposing team and cough up the win.

To be fair, there are a number of very qualified and talented female sports reporters and analysts who are not afraid to throw in a comment about things like “Kevin Kiermaier’s eyes”.
It is not a crime to say she is pretty. And it does not take away from her true talents as an analyst.

Kinda tired of fantasy football talk taking over for quality analysis. Makes for irrevelnt conversations for those looking for actual football talk. Oh well guess I’m in the minority. Tryed fantasy for a few years but realized it takes away from the excitement of watching my team. At least for me.

You are NOT alone. I frikking hate fantasy football. No interest whatsoever. I watch extremely closely the whole league. I watch every game that i can. And i care about what is going on. Strictly from an NFL and team perspective. Just do not care about damn FF.

To all the Winston haters, this is about FANTASY FOOTBALL POINTS for crying out loud.. nothing to do about wins and loses. The FACT is he has been in the top 5 QBs since he entered the league in yards and TDs so even if you bring in his INTs ,its so irrelevant in fantasy football since the deduction points is very low for a qb that produce his kind of numbers.the fact he is ranked 20+is absolutely a steal considering he is ranked below Dak, Ravens qb, etc .Absolutely a STEAL! The hell is wrong with ya’ll?? Stick with the subject haters!

He’s the 13 ranked qb on fantasy pros. CBS he’s even higher. He might win 6 games this year but he could win you 10 in fantasy.

Every Quarterback under BA walked away better. Wouldn’t surprise me with in Jameis under BA and in his contract year – he’ll have his best year to date.

A good example for the Jamies haters and non-fantasy league fans (rightfully your choice), lets say you take winning Qbs like Brady or KC Mahommes, you ll be screwed with the rest of your roster since it requires to play under salary cap.. so that’s why it will be considered a STEAL to take Jamies with less money and still have good amount of the cap left to get bonified RBs, TEs, WRs..
For sure I got Winston, Evans combo.. OJ Howard combo with Kirk Cousins.. lol

If you search fantasy points PER GAME on Pro-football-reference.com, for all QB seasons from 2015 – 2018, America’s QB, ProBowler, Jameis Winston’s BEST season was in 2018 where he ranked 15th. (17.8 ppg)
2015 = 19th
2016 = 20th
2017 = 18th
2018 = 15th

After all, as a Bucs fan, you should fully want the team to succeed, right? And if Jameis fails, so does the team.

Anther note Bucs fans, I ve heard I think on ESPN First Take earlier on how that the Raiders schedule is the worst in the league in their first 7 games or so.Now that “DISRESPECTFULL” to what Bucs got to deal with.. at the end better to be under the radar and start with individuals self motivation and jell as a unit!!

The odds of Apples McGoo of turning the ball over are higher this year than previous years, do keep in mind that the short yellow bus patron is learning a new playbook. As an example they added a single play to the play book yesterday and he threw two interceptions on the same damn play. Also keep in mind that he was benched last year due to his turnovers. He is also dealing with his own sociopath demons and they have long awaited a visit.
