And here comes another peek at Bucco Bruce Arians’ famous accountability sheet.
It’s built into the fabric of his program and, man, Joe wishes he would just publish the daily log online. If Arians wants to raise money for his foundation, loads of fans would gladly pay $20 a month to pore of that info.
Speaking after practice today, Arians was asked about how the mental side of things were going. Arians appeared to answer while referring to the Steelers-Bucs preseason game on Friday night.
“Our young receivers had a really bad night. We had 37 mental errors on offense; they had probably 21 of them,” Arians said. “So they gotta pick their stuff up for this next game.”
The good news is Arians said the first- and second-teamers were rather solid.
Joe loves how Arians itemizes errors. As he cautioned the day he was introduced at One Buc Palace. Don’t land on that accountability sheet too often. Because that means “you’re either too dumb to play here or you don’t give a sh*t.”

Well we had 29 more mental errors than the ghost of conference aac Darrel Henderson had yards on 7 touches.

Actually Henderson broke one to the house but was called back on a nonsense flag. San Diego fans now love the kid.
Actually I just made that up and don’t know if it did or didn’t happen. Guessing jeffbuc reading a stat sheet and don’t know either. Context matters.

Sport … GMC went bye-bye so tmaxcon had to find another player to denigrate. So apparently LVD wins the honor. What’s humorous is that LVD wasn’t even on the field but tmax still found a way to slip him into the conversation. I agree with Sport … your whining is getting old. VERY OLD.

The biggest mental errors in that game were committed by the coaching staff. When we decided to go for it on 4th down how many Buc fans thought we were going to make that. I didn’t. As a matter of fact I knew we weren’t going to make it. We just spent another draft pick on a kicker and we decide to go for two. Whose the idiot who called that? Did anyone think they would be successful going for two. I didn’t. 6 points pissed away. This lost is on the coaching staff. There is no one else to blame.

lvd had 1 good year under schiano… if you really want this team to turn it around the last thing you want to keep is the co charimain and self admitted mentally weakest player on the field… again, take your emotions out of it and look at it without all the built in excuses it was coaches (coaches did not make lvd quit after bad calls or big plays), no help yadda yadda yadda… bottom line cancer93, lvd and dotson are the board memebers of the losing culture… dotson has always sucked and received a free pass same for lvd…. let me ask 1 simple questions why do you fools live in denial and fail in love with medicirity only to get let down every damn year????? lvd should be replaced same with dotson they simply are NOT winners and do not know how to win…. Take the emotion out of it ladies it boils down to wins and loses and you people love you some losers…

I have come to realize that Tmax is so inept and unable to accomplish anything of meaning in her life that the only thing that makes her feel like a real woman is crying about people that have actually achieved something. She wants to cry about grown men not making the playoffs when she can’t even get promoted from fryer at burger king. You can tell she has never played a minute of an organized sport in her life.

Phil – it’s a pre-season game – where you work on things – to get better – you know? You’re acting like we blew a playoff game. Had we made that first down, or any of the three 2-point conversations – then we’d probably have won. Would you still be upset. Glad to hear that you “knew” we wouldn’t make it. Stock market should make you a ton of $.
