Pulse Of The Fans – Day 7
August 2nd, 2019The fans came out to One Buc Palace again tonight to support their hometown Buccaneers. Beforehand, JoeBucsFan.com asked random folks two questions inside the Glazer Shed, as rained poured down outside through the entire session. Here’s what the fans had to say in this regular camp feature by meanbeast JoeBucsFan intern Zach Seifter:
Question 1: How many games do you think Jason Pierre-Paul will play this season for the Bucs and why?
Summary: Because it’s such an open question, this one received many different responses. Some said four games, some said eight or nine, while very few said he won’t come back at all. But two things were made clear by a majority of Bucs fans regarding JPP. One, he’s a fighter, and he will be back at some point this season. Two, the Bucs better not rush him back to the field because neck injuries are serious business and shouldn’t be messed around with.
Question 2: Who will be the biggest playmaker on offense for the Bucs this season?
Summary: This one had a few different answers. Jameis Winston, Chris Godwin and Peyton Barber were a few, but one man received more votes than the rest. His name is Mike Evans. “I think Mike Evans has been out most consistent offensive leader so I’m going to go with Mike Evans,” said Bucs fan Maggie Miley. It’s true, Evans has been a model of consistency for the last five seasons. Being just the third player in NFL history to start his career with five straight 1,000-yard seasons, he’s one of the most explosive, exciting playmakers in the NFL. It’s no surprise to see Bucs fans expecting another big year.
