Mike Evans Explains His Hamstring Is “100 Percent”

Kudos to stud Bucs receiver Mike Evans for giving JoeBucsFan.com an exclusive interview today at his charity foundation golf event in Valrico.
Manbeast JoeBucsFan intern Zach Seifter got the call for the time with Evans and pulled a few goodies from the best receiver in Tampa Bay history.
First nugget up will be about what’s most important, Evans’ health.
Intern Zach: A lot of fans are wondering, you missed practices, how’s the hamstring? Are you going to be good to go for [training] camp?
Mike Evans: Of course. I was good to go. I just had to sit out for precautionary reasons. You know, I understand that. No need to push my body to the limit and negate my training while I’m getting ready for training camp. I feel good now, back to 100 percent. Ready to go for training camp.
Great, great news.
Previously it was unclear where Evans was in his recovery, but that’s one stress that Bucs fans can bury. Evans told Zach that he plans to heading to Canada later this summer with his wife to look into a business venture she’s considering and to visit Canadian Football League practices where his buddy Derel Walker is an All-Star receiver for the Toronto Argonauts.
That doesn’t sound like a guy concerned about rehabbing a hamstring.

Hello….coaches saw he was in great condition and gave reps to other players and spared the wear and tear and needless risk of freak injury

They will all get reps under Arians
2 practice fields for A players (starters and rookies that will start )and B players (veterans And rookies trying to make team )

Of all the Bucs I would worry about getting hurt and missing significant time Mike Evans would be near the bottom of the list.

Any chance we see any story here on K2’s alleged locker room and travel behavior as alleged on another site? Already wrote about this. –Joe That silicone torso is FREAKY DEAKY!! No wonder Josh Freeman was terrified. Winslow might have been what ran Free out of the NFL. Yes, I know this is off topic, but, that is a crazy story that directly affected that era of Buccaneers team. Imagine walking into that in the locker room, or getting assigned to a room with him on a road trip to New Orleans. Free might have gotten permanently scarred!! That makes Swaggy Baker’s palm tree love very vanilla!!

Can’t really say about Mike; wish him well of course. But after 30 years of playing soccer, pulled my ham string many times and I’d say every time I would injure it again (and again) before it got back to 100%. It’s a big one and takes more time than you think.

Yes Jim…… A ND that just makes Mike’s career that much more special………It’s easy to see that Mike has put up great production. But it’s easy to overlook that his durability is a rare trait and that it is one of the most valuable in the league!!
