“Love The Linebackers & Their Communication”

June 6th, 2019

No. 93 was talking today after practice at One Buc Palace.

The second question fired at manbeast defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh asked to say what he likes about the defense he joined just a few days ago.

“Love the linebackers, their communication,” Suh replied. “I think the ability to get after the quarterback is huge, not only with more than multiple guys but also with the front. I’m excited about that.”

Joe was so darn please to hear Suh first mention the linebackers. That’s so huge considering Devin White is a rookie and Lavonte David is a 3-4 inside linebacker for the first time.

Suh went on to saying he’ll “get my bearings” first and then later look to help coach up young players.

The versatility in Suh that Bucco Bruce Arians raves about seems to suit him just fine. “My best fit is wherever they need me to be. It’s as simple as that,” Suh said.

Of course, real football hasn’t been played yet and Suh has a lot to prove to fans. Today Arians said he hasn’t learned much about Suh yet. “A big smart guy who knows how to practice in shorts, ” Arians called him, noting Suh’s resumé is the best guide until training camp begins.

You can enjoy the full Suh news conference below. Media was scattered talking to various players, so there wasn’t much of a crowd.

what a breathe of fresh air!!!!!!!!

under smitty, the problem was lack of communication among a boat load of other things….

under this staff, communication is at the for front….

Luckily we got 2 Joes, a Sage, and a intern 😉

  3. ManzielMadness Says:

    Much better answer then I’m a 3-tech only…

  4. BigPoppaBuc Says:

His freaking arms are as big as my legs… And I’ve got some thunda thighs.

Why am I thinking of a Gif of McCoy pulling up and apologizing to Roethlisberger

  6. Eric y Says:

The #93 never looked so good … and it will be fun watch dude stop the run and pressure the quarterback… not expecting a lot of sacks from suh but getting pressure and stopping the run … finally a leader on defense

  7. LakeLand Says:

    Lol

We hear this every year, this time of the year
Then in December, we will be talking draft

    5-11 again in 2019

    Welcome to Sucksville, USA

  8. Bucnjim Says:

“My best fit is wherever they need me” Suh. No need to say much more than that! Used to hearing I’m not paid enough or I only play the 3 tech.

  9. Bucnjim Says:

Lakeland not you too with the sucks routine? Takes away from some of your other posts that have actually made sense.

  10. JimmyJack Says:

I think I know how Joe feels when he hears about leadership. The same way I feel when I hear about communication.

  11. JimmyJack Says:

I didn’t talk draft in December. I was thinking 4-0 finish and make the playoffs.

Unfortunately it was 0-4 and I became the court jester. But it’s ok cause it’s happened every time. If there is one thing every Bucs fan can learn it’s how to handle losing & embarrassment. It’s a tremoundous life lesson.

  12. Berdj Joseph Rassam Says:

Adding Arian and Suh is a good thing for this team. The previous head coaches: Morris, Schiano, Smith, and Koetter had a combined W/L record of 55-105. Horrific!

  13. TDTB Says:

    How refreshing

  14. Rayjay1122 Says:

Bucs fans have adopted the slogan of Missouri….show me.

  15. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

What an upgrade Suh is going to be over the ice cream man. A good buddy of mine has been the Chief Sports Photographer of a station in Baltimore for probably 20 years. He says the Ravens offered the ice cream man about twice the guaranteed money that the Panthers did. He says the ice cream man must really want to play against the Bucs twice a year.

  16. DooshLaRue Says:

    @Alvin

I think you’re giving Softie too much credit.
I bet it’s because he thinks he looks smoove in Carolina Blue!

  17. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Doosh, I can’t remember, does Batman wear some blue? I think maybe his tights were blue.

That’s kinda weird to say because suh has a lot less to prove than Geraldine does….something so weird about the way the local media is covering this guy, if only they had covered Geraldine the same way he may have actually been to more pro bowls or dare I say willed his defense to respect in the NFL hoe much foes a guy at 32 have to prove. He’s already had a successful career

Seriously the local media is like watching CNN or CNBC for sports with them sliding the story which way they want you to believe. ESPN did the same thing with Jameis and the sad part is it works.

“Lol. How many more times is the gullible Sheep going to be fooled?

This Chump couldnt get up for a team that won 15 games last year alongside and HOF player

And now he is going to play 100% with a team that wins 15 games in 3 seasons?

How come when I panhandle I never get these gullible sheep give me any beer money?”

“under smitty, the problem was lack of communication among a boat load of other things…. ”

That’s not completely true. There was plenty of communication. The issue was coaching.

  22. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Bucnjim Says
    “I only play the 3 tech.” I

Gerald McCoy never once said that.

Apparently, you never saw him play outside…

  23. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Suh has earned any and all negative media coverage. Unlike with Jameis, the things Suh did were proven to have happened.

Did he stomp on players? Yes, and not just Evans.

Did he take shots at defenseless players? Yes.

Did he purposely try to injure players? Yes.

Did he coast through most of a season while getting paid $14,000,000? Yes.

All of these things are proven because they are on film, so cry me a river.

As usual, we are grasping at straws for a free agent to play well. If he coasted with $14,000,000, what makes people think he won’t coast with $9,000,000?

Shoot yes, he’s got a lot to prove. Get real people.

  24. Brett Says:

Schiano used to have Gerald McCoy do stunts and rush from all over the place like JJWatt. That didn’t work for him.

  25. No_Bucs_Given Says:

Wow. OUR talented DT got through an interview without about of “me” and “I”. So glad MeCoy is gone!

  26. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Doosh

Agreed. I also think Baltimore is a tough town, cold and gritty. The Ravens D is always loaded with tough guys. Not so much GMacs vibe..

I don’t see Carolina as a contender either. Cleveland had too much talent,he didn’t want to get showed up. So he comes back to a middling NFC South team, at least it’s warm .

If I had been Ron Rivera, or the GM of the Carolina Panthers, I would’ve cringed at that video of his airplane dance on the field. It’s funny Carolina fans think it’s so cool. Let them have at it.

That being said, good luck to Gerald. Will make Carolina Games that much more fun.

  27. Brandon Jeff Says:

I find myself respecting Suh more everyday. Don’t know if all the negative media attention he received was bs or if he has changed his ways. One thing I’m happy about, we definitely married up in this dt exchange.
My apologies! I know I tend to be a late poster on a lot of these threads. My life is kind of erratic right now.
