Bring On The Cloud!
April 19th, 2019Team Glazer should be making a couple of few phone calls this morning.
Joe saw this on ProFootballTalk.com and immediately a smile was born.
The nugget there was on how Jaguars owner Rollie Fingers Shad Khan likes the idea of a remote-control drone serving as an artificial cloud over the Jaguars’ stadium in order to put every seat in the shade. The technology is being proposed for the corruption-riddled 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
See the cool video demonstration below:
Man, that would look great in Tampa. How many more fans would attend games if they knew they would sit in the shade? Maybe it could be cost effective? It’s a fun thought.
One could argue that would ruin the Bucs’ home-field heat advantage, but Joe would counter with, “What home field advantage?”
If Team Glazer does not want to invest in what obviously would be crazy expensive technology requiring serious insurance, perhaps they could return the covered aluminum bleachers to help the masses at training camp.

That worked out well for the Hindenburg!
April 19th, 2019 at 10:17 am
OR…
They could go with some super technology called a MASSIVE TARP strung up on poles and just block the sun that way.
April 19th, 2019 at 10:18 am
Until the wind comes along.
April 19th, 2019 at 10:21 am
Until the drones run out of battery and the whole thing crashes lol
April 19th, 2019 at 10:23 am
Winning is the only way to really increase attendance…..
April 19th, 2019 at 10:24 am
Great idea for the lawyers to think about.
April 19th, 2019 at 10:33 am
This has tragedy written all over it. And wait until the hackers figure it out.

@ Joe’s
Thanks for the hard work you all put forth yesterday in keeping the draft party alive. You gentlemen are top class all the way. Now, to The Buc’n Draft Party…onward!
I do suggest you let the group suggest group names (if we change it and we should for multiple reasons) and JoeBucsFan.com and Bucs Mob administration pick their top 5-10 names andthenput up a poll/vote for the group to choose and vote on.
I think it should be simple and be what the group is all about; Bucs fans uniting as a family from all over the world to support and cheer on their team, “The Buc’n Family”
April 19th, 2019 at 10:39 am
Cheap ass TEAM GLAZER would never go for it
April 19th, 2019 at 10:40 am
p.s. It would not let me leave a comment on the previous Draft Party post, that’s why I made the comment here (off-topic) to show my gratitude and appreciation, as I stated in my original comment.

To fair to BucsBandit Joe, that things dosen’t look like it would handle wind gusts very well either
April 19th, 2019 at 10:43 am
So instead of sitting in the sun, you get to enjoy winds at x-knots with 120 degree heat blowing against you. Kinda like a big blow dryer with cat 4/5 winds, sounds exciting
April 19th, 2019 at 10:46 am
Cheap ass TEAM GLAZER would never go for it Obviously you were not around during the Culverhouse days!
April 19th, 2019 at 10:58 am
TBBF
i agree….
win and fans will sit at rayjay no matter if its 100 degrees….
#REALISTKNOWSNOTHING!!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!!

Or the Glazers could’ve just built a stadium with a retractable roof.
But nah ..didn’t even cross their minds.
It appears Jerry Jones thinks more about his fanbase.
April 19th, 2019 at 11:11 am
2 teams in our own division have retractable roofs.
Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints ..I’ve been to Falcons new digs, very nice
the rest are:
Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts.
notice most are in the south
April 19th, 2019 at 11:19 am
The Superdome does not have a retractable roof. But yes, it is a dome.
April 19th, 2019 at 11:21 am
Saints had a retractable stadium during Katrina. lol
April 19th, 2019 at 11:36 am
Simpson’s predicting the future again.
April 19th, 2019 at 11:36 am
How awesome would that be? Right up until it malfunctioned and came crashing down. Wipe out 2 NFL teams, a stadium, and fans. Oh the lawsuits would be magnificent. No way Glazers take that risk.
April 19th, 2019 at 12:35 pm
“What home field advantage?”
LOL! That and “Rollie Finger” almost made me spit out by PB&J on this Good Friday.
April 19th, 2019 at 12:36 pm
Yeah great idea a giant drone that can fall into tge stadium and decapitate half the fans
April 19th, 2019 at 12:51 pm
Joe what’s wrong with you don’t you know green technology causes cancer? Those turbines look awfully close to a windmill so that’s a big fat nope.
April 19th, 2019 at 12:52 pm
Don’t think that is a good idea. However, sun exposure is not your friend either. I’ve seen fans succumb to heat stroke, heart attack, skin cancer and sun burn in both Ray Jay and the old sombrero. They should have built a retractable or the very least a dome. Hell, ancient Romans had more compassion for their fans by utilizing tarps held by slaves to provide shade in the colosseum.

Terminator judgement day being moved up
April 19th, 2019 at 2:48 pm
Clodhopper, Twenty-five years ago, no less! I think Mr. Burns would make a better owner too.
April 19th, 2019 at 7:11 pm
Worst idea ever. Lightning, thunder, torrential rain, uhhh it’s a no.
April 22nd, 2019 at 6:26 am
The Bucs need (and have needed for decades) a DOMED STADIUM.
April 22nd, 2019 at 6:27 am
Dewey, that was the unfunniest thing ever on this site.
