Buccaneers’ Week 2 Offseason Highlights
April 14th, 2019A little to over-analyze here. Joe loves this stuff.
Kudos to the Buccaneers for their video work on the team website. More! We need more! More, more, more!
The video below is a brief compilation of last week’s conditioning work.
*As Joe mentioned on the Ira Kaufman Podcast last week, Vita Vea looked to be a new level of fit in initial pictures and video from One Buc Palace. And that’s reflected again in the latest video. Very encouraging.
*O.J. Howard again is shown running very hard and appears faster than teammates. Dude appears to be on a special mission.
*This time America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, appears early in a team video. Yay!!! During the last episode of The Current, Jameis was barely seen and not until after the 8-minute mark.

Another 5 – 11 season coming!!!!
Sorry,
But all this talk of how “great” Arians is cannot get rid of the stench this Bucs team possess.
Arians needs atleast three years to fix all the crap here.

First off BA wants to win now, so he’ll do whatever it takes. I don’t think he’ll be here three years.

Bucs anthem is actually a spy for the saints and giving his opinion on teams in the division chances to take the division before brees retires and thinks we are 3 years away so not a threat. Your reporting your findings on the wrong website.
This organization is operating under the fact that koetter was an amateur and a sorry excuse for a coach. Saints had the worse defense in the league for a lot of years and still competing. Koetter is the reason this team sucked. We will see what kind of talent we have but win loss total I don’t know but what I expect to happen is these players to be well prepared and trained to compete then it will come down to did licht actually stock this team with talented players

@TOM … “First off BA wants to win now, so he’ll do whatever it takes.” Uhhh, unless BA can play RB, RG, MLB & CB Tom, wanting to win now won’t mean very much. Gotta have the horses to make the TEAM.

“BAs masterplan is to be in Tampa for a long long time
He is going to handover the HC to Bowles after 2 years and move into Pres of Operations even higher than Gump…
But he has to win…
If not he still gets his guaranteed 21 million
And we will still suk”

I’m an optimist, so I have faith that we will see much improvement from the team. As a fan, I’m always hoping that the Bucs will eventually get their sh*t together and return to the winning ways of the 1996 to 2002/2003 stretch. To feel less no matter what changes we make reeks of misery. So, jump ship already and let us support what you deem ‘garbage’. Go Bucs.

The bottom line is no one, outside of the new staff, has any idea how much or how little talent is on this team. Everyone wants to talk about what the team doesn’t have and what needs fixing and I’m just as guilty of that as the next guy. This is what I know. Arians time as a head coach is short. Without his staff, he doesn’t come here. He flat out said he wouldn’t have taken the job if he had to teach coaches. So if my time is so short that I don’t want to teach new coaches then I’m looking for a team that can compete now. Not in 2 or 3 years, now.

Whatever happens, it’s a new era in Tampa Bay. I’m excited to see what the Bucs can do with coaching minds like Arians on Offense and Bowles on Defense!
