Bucs Hate Your Fantasy Team

Joe just isn’t a fantasy football guy, which rankles a lot of his readers.
Joe’s idea of “fantasy” has absolutely nothing to do with football but everything to do with a buxom lass and a private Carribean island. Joe isn’t against fantasy football whatsoever. It is just Joe cannot stand cheering for dudes that might be playing against the Bucs, or dudes playing for teams that could hurt the Bucs in any way.
But good guy Mike Tanier of Bleacher Report is a fantasy football kind of guy. And he is of the mind Bucs Bit-O-Honey-snacking, Ozark-watching coach Dirk Koetter is out to destroy everyone’s fantasy each Sunday.
When Mike Evans recovered a Jameis Winston fumble in the end zone for a touchdown, it was the most 2018 Buccaneers event of the 2018 Buccaneers season. Let’s check the bingo card:
- Second-half quarterback change from Ryan Fitzpatrick to Winston? Check.
- Sloppiness with the football? Check.
- Ridiculous play that led to a near comeback in the second half? Check.
- Meant nothing in the standings but caused havoc in fantasy leagues? Check.
The only thing that could have made it the perfect apotheosis of Buccaneers football would have been a missed extra point.
The good news that came from Sunday? It seems for the time being the nonsense at kicker has paused.
Other than that? We’ll have to wait until January to figure out the future of the franchise.

Every year from April till the 3rd or 4th game of the NFL regular season is a God dang Fantasy for me with this crazy franchise. I get my A$$ kicked each year in this fantasy that this is the year. Thats enough for me. Hell why would I watch the Bucs lose at 1pm and then later on find out I lost a couple hundred bucks cause of course I’m only gonna sign Players from the Bucs. What y’all trying to do here put a brotha in a state mental hospital

The League was such a great show! Fantasy football was the baseline of the show, but so many funny non-fantasy topics and one-liners!

Dirk changed the entire offense and the team sucks for it. Licht and dirk will be gone and this team will really put up numbers
Who knew we would pay big money to one tight end then draft another expecting 2 tight end sets to run the ball and pass out of it only to have an expensive bench rider that is cam Brate. Dirk is the reason I wouldn’t pick up any bucs even with the big numbers. I just don’t trust dork. Seems all this offense is good for is fantasy points because they ain’t very good at winning I suck at fantasy but dork sucks as a professional head coach

I have O.J. Howard as my TE and Djax as a flex sometimes. No problems here. Will probably start Jameis this week as well, after I pick him up off the waivers.
Last night, I got 86 pts out of Tyreek Hill and Goff combined.

I play against the Bucs in DraftKings every week and it pays off for me in cash games. You better believe George Kittle will be in every lineup as the Bucs have been terrible against the TE position for years. I will also have Matt Brieda in every lineup as my low buy at the RB or Flex position.

Also, having Cam Brate in your lineups this week will be an excellent play for tournaments in my opinion.

I usually don’t pick Bucs in fantasy because don’t my team blows I still want to do good in fantasy because I have money in it.
I couldn’t resist getting Mike Evans though for my 3rd pick and he hasn’t disappointed. Also have both QBs because they are fantasy gold.
So glad I sat Fitz though, I knew he would implode. Started Luck and he balled out. Thank god for Fantasy to distract me from this disaster.

Bucs are great for fantasy. QB has been annoying because of the constant switching but I’m picking up Jameis and fine with it.
I started Hump in PPR as a flex, I’ve used Desean. OJ was great until going on IR. Can’t complain
