Dirk Koetter said Friday evening on SiriusXM NFL Radio that Gerald McCoy will play today, backed up by Adam Schefter of BSPN.
As bad as the Bucs interior run defense was last week without Kwon Alexander, the Bucs really need GMC there against the Panthers this afternoon. And so he shall be.

Anyway say what you want about McCoy but the Bucs need him to step up today. Carolina can run all over you and likes to throw short screens. Or Newton will run it himself so run defense has to be stout.
Could this be a lower scoring game ?
Carolinas offense can’t throw ball but their defense can stop anyone. Also Gonna be tough game for bucs offense to get going. Carolina has one of best front 7’s in all of football . Fitz is gonna have to chuck it downfield . Please keep the picks under 2 ?
