“My Confidence Will Never Waver”
November 1st, 2018“God got me. I’ll get over this,” Jameis Winston said at his locker today.
Joe wrote earlier about how America’s Quarterback isn’t confident he’ll be back with the Bucs next year, but overall he’s a very confident guy. “My confidence will never waver,” Jameis said today.
Yes, Jameis said all the right things, and they’re all in the video below.
November 1st, 2018 at 1:59 pm
There’s always a bright future in America for a 24 year old
He just gotta
Go get it
November 1st, 2018 at 2:02 pm
Oh shut up Jameis
November 1st, 2018 at 2:05 pm
If Gods got you he’s holding on way to tight!
November 1st, 2018 at 2:07 pm
God may have Jameis but who has the Bucs fans?
November 1st, 2018 at 2:11 pm
It’s trending…the God thing…Covers up your character flaws, supposedly…
November 1st, 2018 at 2:13 pm
whole lotta denial in there……
November 1st, 2018 at 2:14 pm
Run Jameis run these idiots ( Buc fabs) don’t know squat. Fitztragic time, mark my words we’re getting blown out on Sunday and everyone is going to point to the defense. Double standard all day long here in this town.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:15 pm
I’d love to see Jamie’s play under a better HC here in Tampa. A coach who will have him ready for NFL Sundays. A coach who won’t have him looking like a untrained dog. A coach who will rip him off the field if he doesn’t make the decisions that have been taught to him…….Not a coach who has let him keep making the same mistakes for the past three years.
I want a coach who won’t allow Winston to run around the sidelines poking his opponents. A coach who won’t have his QB pushing Shelton Quarrels out of the way. A coach whose going to demand a countability from his QB.
Maybe a new coach is not the answer. It’s anybody’s guess right now. One thing I do believe is that if Winston had the coach I described when he first got to Tampa their would much be as much arguing about Winston right now and we would all know if Winston has potential.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:16 pm
That’s exactly the problem. He is over confident. He thinks he can make throws that he isn’t capable of. Good riddance…
November 1st, 2018 at 2:16 pm
Grt1 you can’t be wrong until Sunday afternoon. Is that the outcome you are rooting for? Hope not.
I thought the young man handled that interview well.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:21 pm
Some people feel joy when they see others fail
It’s call Schadenfreude
_Schadenfreude is the experience of pleasure, joy, or self-satisfaction that comes from learning of or witnessing the troubles, failures, or humiliation of another. It is one of four related emotions or concepts.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:23 pm
@Casey Morgan
I hear ya…He doesn’t get the pro game. It’s about slinging it around at will and forget the consequences.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:26 pm
Oh Lakeland, give it a rest.
No one wanted to see Jameis fail. Bucs fans have supported him for 4 years. We all want our team to WIN.
But the reality is, Jameis has not lived up to the hype. He has not improved. He continues to be responsible for losses due to his turnovers.
I wish Jameis well, but not in Tampa. It’s time for a New Era without Winston. He had plenty of chances.
QUESTION to all your Jameis-lovers…
How long are you willing to give him before you’re okay with getting rid of him? Serious question.
If Winston continues his terrible play for ANOTHER SEASON, are you then okay with getting rid of him? Or would you have to see his bad play for TWO more seasons? Or maybe THREE?
At what point are you okay with getting rid of Winston? Keep in mind that our great Offensive Talent (Evans/Godwin/Howard/Brate, etc.) are all GETTING OLDER with every under-performing season that Winston has. We’re wasting their careers.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:27 pm
Grt1 is likely right though. Dirk’s track record vs the Panthers speaks for itself. There really is no good reason to be optimistic about this week.
I’ll be watching the Oline. That line hasn’t stood a chance against Carolina since Dirk took over(actually much much longer).
For the first time I’ll predict a loss this season. Bucs lose 24-21. Hopefully Joe gets his Dirkmagic wish and I am wrong.
GOO BUCS!!!
November 1st, 2018 at 2:27 pm
Good stuff, @LakeLand. — Have definitely seen a lot of that here, as it relates to Jameis. Not the majority, but a select few… just feeling glee. Pretty sad to see. I agree with csidedave that Jameis definitely handled the interview well, and I am proud of him for hanging in there with a positive and team first attitude.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:29 pm
Csidedave I’m a Buc fan through and through. But you can’t really tell me you can turn a blind eye to this garbage being written on these comments and what we hear on the local radios. They’re rooting for Jameis to fail. We aren’t a good football team but Koetter is replacing everyone but the real guy who’s responsible for this crap season which is himself. You can’t just keep throwing it down field with this below average line. This panthers defense will truly expose this offense. Wait and see.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:32 pm
Bucs Bandit. I support Winston and my answer to your question would be 1-2 years. But only if he has an entire set of new coachs.
But that is assuming that the lockerroom still supports Winston. If they don’t it’s probably never going to work……if that’s the case I am not interested in watching another year of turmoil.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:34 pm
Man sure are a lot of haters on the bucs website this year. Where did all you fake fools come from. So much hate towards this guy because so many dummies looking at Fitz as the savior and you’ll have to learn the hard way how much you don’t know. Talent gets you opportunities period no matter the position. Guy will be around for a long time because he has talent, the fact that you don’t like him doesn’t change that it just reinforces why you are watching the fame and nothing more.
If he leaves chances are it will be for a better team who can take chances and a team normally in the playoffs but sure ok we can afford to be arrogant enough to think that getting rid of him puts us in a better position to win. Sun is affecting a lot of your brains
November 1st, 2018 at 2:36 pm
Well plenty of other people’s confidence has wavered for you and about you Winston
November 1st, 2018 at 2:37 pm
Grt1…..I have not heard every voice on the local radio but have yet to hear one host or local voices in a interview give any support towards Winston……Kudos to all the fans defending their “unpopular” opinions to all the jet, met and cub fans(otherwise know as Tampa voices).
Lynch mobs start at the top.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:38 pm
Now y’all are questioning the Man’s Faith? It’s anazing that he’s the only one taking the blame for this nightmarish season and team. It’ll be real interesting to see your views if/when this Fitzpatrick experiment fails. Maybe, the rest of this team will get some of the blame. Hence, the revolving door OL (21 Sacks Allowed, 4 Centers In 4 Years, 4 RG’s and 3 LG’s), The Suspect DB’s (Hargreaves Is A SUPER Bust and They’ve Only Got 1 INT On The Year) and The Defensive Line Is Invisable (No Disrespect To JPP and His 8 Sacks.. The Rest Of The Entire Squad Has 8). So, Put It All On Jameis. It’s Not All His Fault! I’d Respect You All A Lot More If You Just Said You Didn’t Like or Respect The Young Man. Don’t Go Blaming The Glazer’s When He’s Fully Matured and Winning On Another Team. “Go Bucs.. God Bless…!!!”
November 1st, 2018 at 2:38 pm
Jameis is handling the situation very well, and I am proud of him for hanging in there with a positive and team-first attitude.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:39 pm
That’s why he’ll never learn because he’s programmed to just forget.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:40 pm
Still support JW3… tough times hopefully he gets it together
November 1st, 2018 at 2:42 pm
Not there yet and never will be. Did you have anything really ? Or just come here to call everyone names again ?
November 1st, 2018 at 2:45 pm
Not there yet sounds like you are taking it too personally.
We can argue all day but when you take everything out of the equation Winston has played some horrible football over his last 20+ games.
His critism is well earned based on his performance as a QB.
I like Winston still but let’s not be foolish.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:45 pm
The problem seems to be that Koetter has never fully adjusted to the rigors of a HC. He was a different coach when he was Lovie’s OC. He also didn’t have the offensive talent he has now including QBs. Sure hope he fully adjusts to the position. We know this Sunday in Charlotte.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:47 pm
If you haven’t seen enough of Jameis then your are a very special person.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:50 pm
God bless MrRebel.
If you don’t like the word God then go to CNN chatrooms and find somebody who gives a funk about your opinions about religion.
Absolutely unnessary for you to bring your religious baggage into a sports blog.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:50 pm
So Jameis needs to be given more time and better coaching after 4 years, but Dirk has only been a HC for 3 and it’s his fault?
Yet, Fitz can step in to the same situation and dominate.
How do you explain that Jameis lovers?
November 1st, 2018 at 2:52 pm
What Jameis meant to say was that his TURNOVERS will never waiver
November 1st, 2018 at 2:57 pm
At the end of the day, it REALLY isn’t about “Fitz lovers” and “Jameis lovers” or “Fitz haters” or “Jameis haters”…
C’mon we are ALL Bucs FANS, first and foremost, correct?
We may all have our favorite players to root for.. but WHOEVER is taking the snap for the Bucs…. we should be rooting for to KICK ASS.
That is all that matters. — We really are on the same team here.
GO BUCS
November 1st, 2018 at 2:57 pm
Take that same poise and put it on the field and put it in Ubers, and someone will have a franchise QB.
For now, Fitz.
#FreeTheAmishRifle

November 1st, 2018 at 2:57 pm
Doosh…….Dirk’s team has been ill prepared since he took over.
He done a poor job coaching this team……Team as in the whole team, not just Winston.
November 1st, 2018 at 2:58 pm
He says the right thing quite a bit but rarely learns from his mistakes
One of these days the Bucs will have a leader who’s not all talk
November 1st, 2018 at 3:02 pm
Demon you might be surprised if you knew the truth. There are a lot of so-called Tampa fans that have the eagles as their #1 team….or the Giants or lions……ect.
A lot of opinions in this market comes from folks who don’t care in their 💓
November 1st, 2018 at 3:10 pm
By all means, please JW go and find the golden place, it is not personal, we just need our team free of a QB that does not help us. Good luck, and pray to God, may he will forgive you and give the help you need.
Is not only NFL, Johnny football did found himself in CFL. You can do the same, please don’t follow Josh Freeman. Again good luck, god is the answer for you.
November 1st, 2018 at 3:14 pm
Anyone who truly revered their God would not use them as a soundbite to deflect
November 1st, 2018 at 3:17 pm
@JimmyJack,,, definitely points well taken, sir! – kinda forgot about that part of things, haha. — hopefully we are 90% though!
November 1st, 2018 at 3:27 pm
Does his confidence seem hollow to anyone else? Like he’s trying to convince himself more than he is anyone he’a actually talking to. Is it just me?
November 1st, 2018 at 3:29 pm
@JimmyJack –
– in case you involuntary missed it: a lot of FSU die hard folks… that got only one think they care…. their BOY not Bucs..
November 1st, 2018 at 3:46 pm
Man it just sucks.
Could be 4-3 and feeling super f*cking bright about the future. All you had to do was play a decent game dude. All you had to do was NOT implode the way you did. Why man why?!
November 1st, 2018 at 3:47 pm
There are some haters on this site, man get over it, it’s a week to week league. Yes Jamies crapped his pants but damn don’t stone the guy. Does he deserve to get paid, NO, is he going to get another chance to start, YES. And guaranteed, if bucs release or trade him, he will ball out wherever he goes. For all the true Bucs fans, GO BUCS!!! All they haters and trolls, take it to the house.
November 1st, 2018 at 4:02 pm
God got him? And all this time I thought it was a combination of the Bengals defense and mush between his ears.
November 1st, 2018 at 4:12 pm
Blah blah blah blah blah. So what Jameis, did no one ever tell you talk is cheap?
November 1st, 2018 at 4:16 pm
Keep him with his potential and we might be in the race for the next several years
Release him and we definitely will be waiting and hoping for the next 5 to 10 years
While he balls out on another team
November 1st, 2018 at 4:27 pm
JimmyJack: If it wasn’t brought up in the comments I wouldn’t have had to say anything about it (Read the first 5 post). Religious Baggage? That’s pretty good. You’re response to my comment wasn’t well thought out. Nice attempt. You’d fit perfectly with the Coaching Staff, OL, DB’s and on The DL. “Go Bucs…!!
November 1st, 2018 at 4:28 pm
Good for you Jameis! Half the people who post negative things about you are just to stupid to understand football.
November 1st, 2018 at 4:31 pm
Jameis just needs to calm down. I think Dirk has this guy pegged exactly. He thinks he needs to play perfect and every play needs to be perfect. With the offense we have, Winston can take a sack. It’ll be ok. He needs to realize this. It’s also ok to throw the ball away or hit a check-down receiver. As soon as Jameis starts accepting these things, I think he’ll be back and could be great.
November 1st, 2018 at 4:34 pm
You James have to take responsibility for your actions and stop putting everything on “God’s” shoulders. Did God throw 4 interceptions? Jesus!
November 1st, 2018 at 4:37 pm
JBF censorship is alive and well I see! Can’t handle the truth I guess.
November 1st, 2018 at 4:37 pm
All you Human ATM (America’s turnover machine) apologists can stock up on cheap Jay Miss jerseys while they try and sell them with leftover Alvin Harper jerseys. You can also cheer for Jay Miss’s next team once he gets run out of town. I say he never takes another snap as a Buc and everybody knows why. The Bucs don’t want to pay his 20.9 million 2019 salary guaranteed for injury only. Do the math geniuses. That dude is gone. See ya. Bye. Thanks for all the int’s and losses. Not all on him because our defense does suck but watching Jay Miss throw interceptions without seemingly caring sucks worse. I’ll take drafting whatever qb we can or trade for another serviceable qb when possible. Jay Miss era over. Go Bucs!
November 1st, 2018 at 4:38 pm
I would have more respect for him if he just said “I f’ing sucked!”
November 1st, 2018 at 4:43 pm
Winston is a turnover machine and its been that same way since his last year of college. Not sure why people expect him to change now.
November 1st, 2018 at 4:51 pm
You can’t win football games
When you score 28.7 a game
And give up 33.3 a game
I wouldn’t want to QB this team
You basically has to score 35 points a game to win
The pressure is on you
Before the opening kickoff
November 1st, 2018 at 4:55 pm
maybe he should play baseball.
Also, the other team scores a lot because he turns it over a lot. Our defense gave up 37 and was on the field the whole game last week.
November 1st, 2018 at 4:56 pm
CMURDA
I HEAR YA!!!!!!
#NOEXCUSESIN2018!!!!….#PRESSURESONTHECOACHES!!!!!…GO BUCS!!!!
November 1st, 2018 at 4:56 pm
Unfortunately Jameis, you have put yourself in a position where your confidence doesn’t matter near as much as your superior’s.
You’ll need more than confidence going forward……you’ll need Fitz’s misfortune.
November 1st, 2018 at 5:02 pm
This has turned into a millennial site because not only do you not have to take responsibility now you don’t even need to make excuses! There are dozens of Winston fans on here that will use every excuse in the book to validate his play. I’m pretty sure the next one will be he was so distraught over Trump being the president he lost all desire to play football. Just kidding but that is how crazy it sounds when you blame everyone but Winston. Great QBs are great it is as simple as that!
November 1st, 2018 at 5:03 pm
Lakeland, if you add points scored from turnovers your numbers would vary greatly.
November 1st, 2018 at 5:06 pm
Mark my words..Koetter will go before Jameis does. And Jameis will play better..after Koetter leaves.
November 1st, 2018 at 5:10 pm
Here is that millennial response again. I wouldn’t want to QB this team because of A,B,C! Real men would come in and not only accept the challenge but excel in the process. Let’s blame the groundskeeper at Ray Jay because the grass is 1/2 inch higher than I’m used to.
November 1st, 2018 at 5:10 pm
Bucjim
I was mention the turnovers every week when Jameis wasn’t playing
7 in 10 quarters to be exact
But everyone was turning a blind eye
It was an non-issue
Mike Smith was the scapegoat
Now it’s an issue
November 1st, 2018 at 5:19 pm
@Bucnjim
To be fair, while some of us fans will bring up some of those things that Jameis has to work around……… he never does.
He has made no excuses. Whether you are a fan of his or not, I think we need to make sure that is pointed out.
November 1st, 2018 at 5:20 pm
As a person, I feel terrible for Jameis.
As a fan, this had to happen.
He knows it, we know it.
November 1st, 2018 at 5:30 pm
I’m going to go way back when things were really miserable in the 80’s and 90’s and hope was that we would go 8-8. Along came a player named Hardy Nickerson who was able to change the culture of this failing franchise. His work was passed to Brooks ,Barber, Lynch, and Sapp. JPP is here trying to do the impossible which is what Nickerson did. I love that Winston hates to lose but there comes a point where you need to keep your mouth shut and lead! Listen don’t talk! McCoy that goes for you too!
November 1st, 2018 at 5:31 pm
These Sportswriters won’t Jameis gone so bad
Some of them are fabricating their stories
Here’s one from a Bleacher writer
Winston, 24, has been a turnover machine in his four games for the Buccaneers this season, throwing for 10 interceptions to go along with 1,181 yards and six touchdowns. While he’s completed 64.9 percent of his passes, his 10 picks have played a major part in the Buccaneers going just 1-3 in his four appearances.
With Fitzpatrick under center to start the season, meanwhile, the team went 2-1 and featured one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL behind Fitzpatrick’s 1,230 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions in those contests.
Let’s see the Bucs are 1-3 in Jameis appearances
They are 1-2 in Jameis starts
And they are 2-3 in Fitz appearances
They are 2-2 with Fitz Starting
Fitz has 11 TD and 4 INT= Misleading
He’s credit with 13 TD and 5 INT
November 1st, 2018 at 5:32 pm

November 1st, 2018 at 5:42 pm
@Bucnjim
Definitely hear ya man on EVERYTHING that ya said. — Man oh man what a time period that was, huh? — Thanks for bringing it up.
Hardy was here… showing those young kids the way, in Sapp, Brooks, Lynch & Barber.. just like you brought up. And the sky was the limit.
Good stuff man. — Oh to find that again.
Go Bucs
November 1st, 2018 at 5:42 pm
ESPN hated by many but they have an interesting QBR which lists both Fitzpatrick and Winston. Don’t think they have a dog in this race but pretty much shows what we already know. Just for the record I like Jameis and just wish he’d make the transformation from ok to franchise QB. Reminds me of the position Freeman left us in!
November 1st, 2018 at 5:51 pm
What would we all give to get back to 1999 best D I’ve seen on a Bucs team ever. Now in the age of offense there needs to be those Peyton Manning’s screaming at the defense and the Favre’s challenging D lineman. Mahomes and Watson are taking that challenge along with a few other young guns. We know the old timers but thats not what we are talking about. It’s about the future of our franchise.
November 1st, 2018 at 6:13 pm
CRABMAN
“Anyone who truly revered their God would not use them as a soundbite to deflect”
I’m with you bro. Went to Catholic school all through elementary…switched to Methodist…then tried being a Presbyterian…even was a Southern Baptist for awhile…I met a lot of wonderful people but the dogma simply did not satisfy or move me.
I’m now very spiritual not religious but I try to respect EVERYBODY’s beliefs. Jameis probably believes what he said.
Still it’s hard at times…like when I lived in Tennessee and people would occasionally die when the rattlesnake they passed down the pews bit them. It’s really hard for me to respect those folks beliefs…but again…it’s THEIR beliefs not mine.
So I don’t know whether people should respect mine…but I truly…truly dislike people bringing God into sports. It demeans God…HE/SHE have more important fish to fry than who the hell wins a GAME!!!! And can anybody answer this for me. When a player gives thanks to God for a victory that God achieved for them…isn’t that the same as saying God dumped on their opponents. God does not care who wins and does not care about JW’s career…HE/SHE cares about far more important stuff.
In fairness to JW that was a bit open ended…JW may be saying what I just posted…not that God is going to fix his football game but simply that what God does take care of is the most important part of JW’s life. I hope that’s the explanation.
November 1st, 2018 at 7:03 pm
Is it, so difficult to just want be a fan of a Buccaneer QB who puts the ball on the money, where our guys can catch it on the move? Not to a places that gets our receivers Hit! While being good at avoiding turning over the ball to the other team’s players more times than can be overcome by our Defense? For the WIN.
All the “For” “Against” “Ethnicity” wanting our Buccaneers QB to fail BS??? Do we ALL not just want to WIN! With a Buccaneer QB like this. Whoever he is.
GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!
November 1st, 2018 at 8:23 pm
This pathetic GM we have should have signed Adrian Peterson, who’s doing very well right now at Washington. This is back when our team captain was paying for and bringing all the guys together to train in Houston during offseason. He was leading but you were too much of a pathetic clown to let him. Something special was brewing comradarie wise but you were too dumb to know it. Rather with Barber and Jaquez. You neutered your own QB by even questioning him. Competition on the same team for some players doesn’t work. Terrible management and coaching- clean house
November 1st, 2018 at 8:26 pm
Also coach- don’t let these marvel comic clowns vote on captain- tell them who it is. It’s your alpha- franchise q.b.
you can’t do this because you are both buffoons
Coach and GM can’t see what’s right in front of you
November 1st, 2018 at 8:36 pm
Let jamieis throw 100 pics until he’s done with it- and figures it out-
You don’t have the marbles or stomach to let a guy with farce qualities figure it out- here’s some news we suck any way because u can’t field a decently Balanced squad on both sides- give Winston the same patience you would give yourself light and Koetter- by the standard u are putting him on you should both be canned- you Koetter for your terrible attitude and moronic in game management and stubbornness and you light for your buffoonery in draft selection and free agency- Monken worked out- smith not so much- td- vs int
Some drAft pics good most garbage- light- oj Howard- a gift. Godwin- great pic
Some good undrafted finds Yes- humph- jpp great move-
I won’t list all the rest of the hot garbage you’ve served up- even more vile than a 4 pic day or 10 in a few games or whatever
Hopefully you’ll all figure it out and don’t #BlameJameis
It’s hard to lead surrounded by incompetence and lack of sureness.
Lead in spite of your leaders being a n inconsistent circus side show-
Oh and McCoy- go try playing angry- the team needs you
November 1st, 2018 at 9:46 pm
The fact that his confidence never waivers means he will continue to throw picks at the worst time. The guy has no clue and doesnt know how to lead in the NFL. To everyone who is defending him and saying how terrible it is we are running him out of town I say he is running himself out of town we are just watching.
November 1st, 2018 at 10:18 pm
FAILURE is the greatest teacher of mankind… The only ones not learning are the ones whos opinions never fail…
Haters be dam… I will stop support this guy when is no longer a young man who keeps making the same mistakes…. Such as our BACK UP who will start this week to my you numb scolls shut up
November 1st, 2018 at 10:21 pm
Run Jameis run, this is what the majority of the fanbase does…
Does he turned the ball over? Yes…Is he the most talented QB this franchise has ever had? Yes, With the exception being Steve Young…But that’s how it works in Tampa Bay with QBs…The fanbase usually runs them off before the reach their full potential…I guess we can stop wondering why this is the most losing franchise of all time…
November 1st, 2018 at 10:24 pm
JW will get another change either with the Bucs or not. It’s not hard to see that he has the talent and can cut down on the turnovers. He proved that in the last 6 games of last year. During those games he was one of the better QB’s at that time. So he has the talent and has proved it.
He needs a coach that can game plan to his strengths. One that doesn’t need him to throw 60+ passes a game. One that can provide a running game that will help keep defenses honest and have to watch out for it.
It’s a good thing that Manning, Favre, or Elway didn’t come here or they would have been run out of town before they turned into HOF’ers.
November 1st, 2018 at 10:51 pm
I wish his talent level would match his confidence level
November 2nd, 2018 at 9:23 am
1. After what must be a solid decade of people catering to him; over-looking major character flaws and general player-worship, I’m not sure that he has any idea of the meaning of the word “humble”. (Sadly for us, he probably doesn’t learn that until he gets to his next team. We always seem to be a farm-team for real NFL organizations!?)
2. Why is Fitz not at his locker photo-bombing #3?
November 2nd, 2018 at 1:42 pm
Cracks me up when people say
“Wherever he goes, he’s gonna ball out” What could possibly make you think that?
Three plus years here and we’re still waiting.
What do you think Belichick is gonna do with him when he blows off a play call and throws a pick?
Hell. McCarthy basically cut Ty Montgomery for not following orders, and Montgomery is a helluva lot more productive than our chosen one…
November 2nd, 2018 at 6:38 pm
Why is jmiss different than any other player on the team? If he ain’t getting the job done,it’s time for him to move on,not the coaching staff. Crazy to say he needs new coaches to get better..that’s not how this works,he is not bigger than the coaches or any one else on the team..it up to him to man up and figure it out..and enough with all his smooth words..talk is cheap.
November 2nd, 2018 at 8:54 pm
Number 3 is number 1!
Fitz ain’t it!
