If we continue to not see any semblance of a running game, other than some potential O Line changes, I hope we look hard into Carlos Hyde. The guy is reliable, can pass protect and has a whole lot of juice in the tank. He’s the grinder guy and ROJO would be a solid 3rd down back. I don’t know that Barber is really much of an asset right now. The Jags just lost and wasted having Carlos Hyde. That team is imploding and we can get Hyde much cheaper from Jax. If RoJo or Barber can’t get it done against Cincy’s 5th worst rushing defense, it’s an option for us. Another thought is clearly Mixon is the guy in Cincy. Bernard who is only 26, is solid. When Mixon was injured, Bernard was very good. He’s another guy we could target without having to spend a high draft pick.

I hate to say it but I can’t disagree about JW. The guy hasn’t been able to throw a deep ball for 4 years. Is it really something that you can teach? or comes with experience? Fitz should have been allowed to play out his success, Winston was given the team back after a poor half by fitz, and Winston sucks, he hasn’t improved, maybe the only area he has improves is not just tossing it up when getting hit, but he makes up for that with his inaccuracy all over the field, he has 7 ints in less than 3 games.

I have said it before this season started. Owners had no business bringing back the Head coach this season. Any other employee would of been let go if we were making a over million salary and our work performance was his results. For everyone trashing the defense right now, keep in mind that they started off playing fairly decent ball today. After 2 turnovers it looked like they started pressing, and making mistake after mistake in the process. Bucs have never operated well from a deep hole.

Defense and running game was on point until that 2nd interception from Winston.
The whole team looks like it quit after that.
If we score to start the 2nd half, we could still have a chance. But its doubtful, it ooks like the team has already given up.
Now a good coach would try to get his guys to rally at halftime, but my guess is Dirk will say nothing to them again instead.

Laughing stock because the owners brought the head coach back who was not deserving. This Head Coach stubbornness and ego will cost him his head coaching career. Head coach had no business benching Fitzgerald and handing Winston the start… Fitz is just better… Winston is by far leading all NFL QBs in TURNOVERS and the head coach knows this. It sends a terrible message to all fans who spend their money on tickets and merchandise. Bucs are highly penalized which is a lack of strong discipline. Owners know they made a critical mistake when they agreed with their inadequate scouts and selected Winston #1. Owners , GM and head coach need to admit their decision was terriblly wrong. Thing is, with the talent on the team, it doesn’t necessarily need to be a long rebuild. Some decent coaching on both side of the ball and a couple good defensive drafts and we’re in the thick of it. Of course there is that QB issue. And drafting a good QB is tricky. OMG Fitzmagic is back!

Fitzpatrick’s stints with his previous teams are irrelevant. He’s in Tampa right now: different team, different system, different people around him. He might be one of those quarterbacks that blossoms late in his career after landing in the right spot, like Rich Gannon did with Gruden in Oakland. Focus on the good football that Fitz is playing now and not on what he did in Cincinnati, Houston, Buffalo, etc.

Yeah Fitzmagic provided the excitement but I lost count…how many 3 and outs did the Bengals have in the 2nd half?
There would have been NO chance for the Fitzmagic if the Buc defense hadn’t played very well. But because they let one of the good offenses in this league get into FG range they suck.
