    I don’t know why you guys are so quick to rule out the possibility that Koetter stays on with a new DC, and maybe even an entirely new staff.

    The Glazers have wanted a high powered offense since they got here. They didn’t get it with Chucky, but they sure have it now. Only the defense sucks. It seems to me, the smart thing to do is, bring Koetter in, tell him his D staff needs to go, and then have him present a list of possible D coordinators for the Glazers and Licht to approve. Then give him one more year.

    If they bring in a new head coach, EVERYTHING starts at square one. That’s not good. Not at all. How do you sell that to the fan base? “Here we go again!”

    Wouldn’t “same kick ass offense with a new and improved defense!” sound soooo much better?

    Your point is valid, however, there is one problem: Who will want to come in and work on a one-year contract? Maybe you can sign some college guys, but that is a major risk.
