Pretty cool small feature from the NFL.
In this social media video below, the NFL highlighted the short yet highlight-filled career of Bucs middle linebacker Kwon Alexander.
In the video, you can see Alexander’s tremendous game his rookie season at Atlanta and see highlights from his high school days in Alabama.

I hope he has a great season and has gotten over his sophomore slump. He took a little step back last season compared to his rookie season but this defensive line should be vastly improved, which hopefully will allow Kwon to focus more on his own responsibilities rather than trying to cheat toward any weaknesses and be caught out of position. fingers crossed. Go Kwon! Go Bucs!

Only thing to consider is that he wasn’t released because of money, so he must’ve lost his position through competition. Even so, he could be an upgrade over Spence, Nassib, or Sanborn

Now THAT’S the kind of story we need more of Joe … excellent. Kwon had a way of driving me nuts last year because the middle was far too vulnerable too often & we got taken advantage of there far too many times. Not all on Kwon to be sure, and I’m convinced he’s an outstanding LB, but still think he’d do better outside with the beefier Beckwith in the middle.

Bucs fans know great defensive talent when we see it. Kwon is an elite example. The LBackers are scarily good talent wise now. MSmith should come up with some great blitz schemes this year. He’s got the talent for it. KUDOS KWON!!!

I hope Kwon has a better season than last year. He simply got sealed off and pushed around a lot. I don’t think he is suited to play mike. Kwon = Hype.

Idk what drives him but it looks like he bathes in Mobil 1 synthetic before each game. The thing I like most about Kwon is his mom.

For as much as I like Kwon I believe when it comes to contracts he’s going to be the odd man out. The Bucs can’t sign everyone. Jameis, D. Smith, Ali Marpet, are all going to need to get paid.
I’ll be surprised if the Bucs can sign all four.

Very emotional stuff right there, even with already knowing and remembering that game by Kwon.
Let’s hope this new defensive front allows Kwon to conquer the middle of the field and then some!

You guys know that Anthony Zettel was drafted in round 6 for a reason… and released for a reason… and that reason isn’t that he has former #1 overall pick Myles Garrett and a #32 overall pick Emmanuel Ogbah in front of him. Zettel has DE size but DT speed.
What Nassib does have is basically every collegiate honor that could have been bestowed on him in his senior season despite being a former walk on. He also dominated the Senior Bowl and has been a starter for the past two seasons. Nassib has a ton of upside. Spence is a DE only and if somehow he finds himself, he could still be a good pass rusher… Garrison Sanborn is a freaking long snapper, why is his name in the discussion to release? He doesn’t even play DE.

I know Sanborn is a specialist. I was using his spot on the roster only to add Zettel, not to replace him as a long snapper lol
