Sidelined for the preseason finale
Rough blow for rookie cornerback M.J. Stewart not being able to go tonight against the Lions.
Plenty of teammates will join him.
On defense, Justin Evans, Beau Allen and Mitch Unrein will be wearing street clothes with Vita Vea and Kendell Beckwith,
On offense, Donovan Smith will have his great buddy Ali Marpet with him on the sidelines with fellow O-linemen Caleb Benenoch, Leonard Wester, Cole Boozer and Cole Gardner. Watch your backs, Jameis and Fitz!

Hey, the majority of these guys have minor injuries so they save their bodies another meaningless game. They won’t forget how to play when it counts. Plus, the coaches get to see their backups in game situations that normally woudn’t happen. It’s all good.
