Gameday Tampa Bay
November 22nd, 2009Week 11
Saints at Bucs
Kickoff: 1 p.m.
TV: WTVT Ch. 13, DirecTV 712
Radio: Buccaneers Radio Network (in Tampa WFUS-FM, 103.5 and WDAE-AM, 620); Sirius Channel 158.
Weather: Per AccuWeather.com, perfect Florida fall day. Kickoff will be under sunny skies and 82 degrees. Though rain is expected today, the game should be concluded before the front rolls through.
Odds: Per Bodog.com, Saints -11
Outlook: On paper, the Bucs have about as much of a chance of winning this game as Joe has of hooking up with Rachel Watson. Of course, games aren’t played on paper (this truth, sadly, doesn’t apply with the Rachel Watson analogy). The Saints are beat up. Their secondary is a shambles and overrated Reggie Bush won’t be there either. Now the flip side is that the Bucs finally get Antonio Bryant back. Bucs rookie quarterback Josh Freeman can throw the deep ball and Bryant on rookie cornerbacks may just give the Bucs a chance.
Fun facts: The Saints average 37 points a game. … The Saints may have the worst home uniforms in the NFL (get rid of those awful black pants). … Speaking of overrated, if Bush isn’t here, that means Bush’s big-assed girlfriend won’t be here either. … Joe loves eating in the French Quarter.

So Joe, I know you remeber me defending J Free all season, is it safe for you to eat a slice of Humble pie? Man you and your readers hated on him sooooooo much! I told you guys he was the truth! All good, I still got love for the site and readers, but don’t be so quick to label a draft pick Bust In Waiting….
Biotches! ( I mean that in the coolest way )….

e2unes:
Joe hated the pick, not Freeman. Joe doesn’t hate Freeman, never did and has written as much.

My bad, replace “him” with “the pick” You all hated on the pick and it seems to be working out. J Free is the reason we look like an NFL team now, would you agree?

Hard for Joe to say the Bucs look like an NFL team when they are 1-8 and cannot stop the run.

But what I really want to address, there are going to be some key names out there in free agency in 2010, you think we could add a Peppers, Dunta Robinson type player?

This is Freeman’s 3rd game, but in the last 2 and so far against the Saints, we are in it… C’mon give the guy credit, jesus, what more does he have to do Joe? With our D not being able to stop the run, he makes our O have the fire power to stay in games….

Joe would start with a new defensive coordinator. Joe knows he catches a lot of heat from some prominent people in this area with his stance on Jim Bates, but objectively, how can anyone defend him?
Sorry. Joe doesn’t care if a defense has high school kids on it. If you are the coordinator and your defense sucks that bad, the buck stops on the coordinator’s desk. That’s just life.
