Raheem The Dream Peeved
November 15th, 2009Raheem the Dream was one steamed at halftime of the Bucs-Dolphins game as well he should have been.
The zebras screwed over the Bucs just before the half when Michael Clayton caught a pass to the right side from Freeman for a first down when, after he was down, the ball was ripped from out of his hands.
Replays clearly showed he was down. Clearly. Yet the referees claimed he fumbled.
Raheem the Dream erupted and got hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, but it was warranted by Raheem the Dream. This enabled the Dolphins to score 10 points in the final two minutes and likely will be the difference in the game.
Asked at halftime on the Bucs radio network what explanation the zebras gave him for the horrible called, Raheem the Dream barked twice, “I never got one.”
Each week on the NFL Network, the NFL’s head of officiating Mike Pereira has a show where he breaks down the most controversial plays of the week and explains why the calls were made.
Joe would love to hear his explanation of this crap. It likely cost the Bucs a win.

Were those ref’s watching the same game we were? That’s a ‘freakin’ travesty. Clayton caught the ball was downed and flat on his back when the ball came loose: dead ball! End of Freakin’ story! But not when your 1-7, you don’t get the calls in the N ‘Freakin’ L!

Joe – please please please make sure you get the NFL Network explanation of that call on your site so we can hear the BS flowing.

The explaination on the field was as stupid as the call. When you’re down you’re down. Pete’s right though, a 1-7 team on the road won’t get any calls unless it’s the Cowboys. Props to the Dream for cursing a blue streak at the refs. I swear, sometimes I think the refs have money on these games. Reminds me of the Bert Emmanuel call in the NFC Championship in ’99.

Are refs subject to a field sobriety test, Joe? Howsabout drug testing? Is there an RUI in the Florida Penal Code?
