And the season, she is over. Oh what could have been, right?
That’s the hard part about the way it ended. If our Bolts aired it out – like Game 7 – and came up short, that’s one thing. But looking back on the whole of the Eastern Conference Finals, can you really say the Lightning left it all out on the ice? Bolts fans, we stick together, but let’s keep it real too.

You can bet there will be some player changes. But they will not blow anything up. As far as the window. It may be open but it is no good if you don’t jump through it.

Time to take the older players that didn’t perform and cut them loose for whatever we can get for them. Build everything around Vasilevskiy. A team scoreless in two playoff games, that is overpowered most the time in 5 on 5’s is too weak to ever get over.

We got beat by a better team, plain and simple. + Barry Trotz outcoached Cooper to boot.

Add a few playoff performing players to the roster and we’ll be better. Trust the Yzerman plan. Still an embarrassing game 7, they’re better than that, Coop definitely deserves some blame.

Thank you Tampa Bay Lightning for an entertaining season. You worked hard and accomplished a lot. Let’s hope next year is our Stanley Cup winning season.
