There is zero chance we don’t draft a RB, probably in round 2. If we are able to acquire a 3rd round pick, maybe round 3. I would be shocked if they didn’t take a RB in a premium round. There is no way Peyton Barber is a #1 back. He’s a solid #2.

I think Koetter was quoted as saying about the RB position that it was obviously a position needing upgrade. Don’t remember the actual quote, but I’m pretty sure they wanna get a guy there. I’m sure he looks at ATL with Freeman and Coleman and is envious. Michel or Guice, Chubb, or Penny paired up with Barber would be nice.

Once again, very disappointing and shallow. Look, I get the jpp thing and all but come on joe, haven’t we been there before? Is jpp really going to turn this franchise around single handedly (I know)?
You claim the bucs are in win now mode because of the weapons on offense but most of them are young! Why yet gamble on another miricle (you said we are nowhere close yourself) instead of trading our vets to teams on the verge, save money and draft young talent to support the young core we already have? This way we’ll have cheaper contracts to bring in top tier vets, we can have more seasons with better, evolving talent and have a better chance not just to make the playoffs but to win it.
With what we’re doing now, even if we make it to the playoffs, it won’t last for more than 2 seasons and we’ll be in a hole again. If you count in the possible jw suspension, doing what I suggest is the smarter move. Say something please.

Guice is NOT, I repeat Guice is NOT Fornette, even though they both played at LSU.

Steve, welcome back. I value your analysis and miss you when you’re not there. Excellent work!

Pay Back is a Beotch, and revenge is a dish best served Cold.
I posted here that the JPP Trade was Dave Gettelman’s way of getting back at the Panthers for firing him.
He built that team, and they threw him to the wolves, all over the Josh Norman affair.
Walterfootball says the JPP Trade was good for BOTH us and The Giants, but here is how I see it. It was an “I can take it or leave it” trade for the Giants, and a season saving trade for Tampa.
This JPP trade has given an entire city hope, and energized our fan base again.
TYVM Dave Gettelman !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

None of it is going to make any difference until Mike Smith gets out of that air-conditioned luxury box at Raymond James and gets down on the field with his players. How can they possible know what he’s thinking when he’s using a telephone to communicate? I know it’s hot in Florida, Mike, but you gotta let your players know you care.
