The Joes need to get over this harping on bringing in Bruce Arians as a consultant. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t. As of now, you guys have no idea what their plans are. Right now, it’s just another angle to b!tch about, which gets a little old.

Also, the disconnect thing about how much the coaches care is complete BS. Making a mountain out of a molehill. Arguably, the coaches care just as much as fans. It’s their livelihood, and they commit untold hours and worry to winning. It’s not easy. Just because there are idiot fans who kick over the garbage can and beat their wives after a loss doesn’t mean they “care” more – it just means they’re mentally unbalanced. As a former post-game depression case, who eventually grew up, I feel qualified to comment on this. Coaches may be able to shift loyalties for new jobs, but I just don’t think that means they care less.
    Never wrote they care more.–Joe

How much more b!tching are we going to have to endure about Doug Martin? It’s offseason. He’s not likely with us any longer.
Hmmm, let’s see there was what, about 60 seconds of relevant Martin talk? –Joe

Every single podcast we have to listen to the same complaining about Doug Martin. It’s water under the bridge. He’s not coming back. Let’s talk about our future, with Barkley or Michel or Penny!

    Lee, Steve, Ira,

Well done, boys. I for one will not complain about the podcast topics. You guys are as close as anyone to the Buccaneers, and you aren’t snooty like those pretentious hipsters from PR. They are in love with FSU, judging the sage’s ability to deliver our beloved Bucs in Canton, and the newest one sports a man-bun. I bet those fellas put fruit in their beer.

Anyways, thanks for the podcast. Please keep them coming… Would the Joes be open to doing a podcast with “Joe Bag of Donuts”? Bc, I know this guy lives 800 miles away and gives “10,000,000 times more” phucks than the coaches.

I wish I could go in there and just talk to the players. It would be 100% positive, and doing my best to show them how great it feels when they play hard/well/with great effort, even if they come out short.

Too often, we are subjected to lackluster effort, and I agree with Lee about brining Koetter back. Those boys showed no quit on their headcoach, and that says a whole lot.

I hope we can get some talent. Can I help consult with the Joes on FA targets? Lord knows we could do just as good or better. The first order of business is writing a blank check to Miko Grimes for Brent’s services.

And, lastly, for the dear Sage, please mention the amazing quality of person John Lynch was:

-pro bowl safety in AFC (3-4 D) and NFC (4-3 D)
    – Stanford educated
-Throws a 95 mph fastball, and threw the first pitch in Marlins history.
    – He knocked out his brother in law during a game.
    – Lynch also struck fear in WRs going over the middle, and he is a big reason why the rules have changed.
    – Sapp and Brooks’ effort was HOF worthy, Brooks was the “exclamation point” of that defense, and the “teeth” behind that beast of a unit.

Thanks for all you dudes do. I friggin love JBF and this podcast.

I really hope my rant above gets through moderation. Fingers crossed. I was having a moment of complete fan clarity.

C’mon Joe! Please let my post through

  8. Joe Says:

    Thank you SteveK!

And personally, Joe wants to vomit with the thought of fruit in beer.

Lime in a Tanqueray and Schwepps? Yes.

    Fruit in beer? The indignity!

The main problem with the Bucs offense was Doug Martin — the worse running back in the NFL. So Joe should ignore this? That’s like ignoring that the defense couldn’t smell a quarterback in the pass rush.

Buckle up cowboy, Joe’s not going to get off Martin’s rear end until he’s off the team which he should have been a year ago.

What else should Joe ignore? Jameis’ fumbles? No corners behind Brent Grimes? Offensive struggles in the red zone?

If a certain, relevant subject keeps you up at night, you can always use the fast-forward option.

  10. SteveK Says:

    ^ exactly, Admin!

If we fail to recognize our shortcomings, we are doomed to repeat them.

Doug Martin made half of what Calais Campbell made, and only about 1% of the impact.

To top it all off, dollar vs production he was the worst RB in the league. Who made $7 million to be suspended and then suck hard the rest of the year?🤔

  11. HFXBUC Says:

Ira driving = Mr. Magoo. Hilarious.

  12. SteveK Says:

Ira freezing his windshield; I didn’t know Ed Morse Cadillac has Sage Vision. I can see Ira go By 17mph in a 30 mph zone and getting passed! 😂

  13. SteveK Says:

Lynch needs to make the hall this year. He was the third component to the Tampa 2.

The Tampa 2 took the league by storm, yet very few people could replicate the success.

Lynch was a complete player, tough as nails and smart as they come. He and Ronde and Simeon all deserve conservative deratoon, but lynch belongs now.
