GREAT podcast sir. Hope you had a great Christmas. Interms of scoring, you can’t put that all on Jameis. There are tons of reasons for not scoring. Take a look at this weeks game for example. Godwin’s drops a td, Mike Evans gets a PI another red zone appearance. And constant penalties on the line every time we get in the red zone. And we’re not even going to get into Koetters play calling in the red zone which he said himself sucks. Point is comparing scoring and basing it al on qb play doesn’t represent the whole picture. But I know, the qb gets too much credit and too much blame. But to say a guy that has the highest quarterback rating in the nfl since he’s been back isn’t thriving is just wrong.

Calling for them to tank the last game, then saying Koetter should be fired if they do. Irony. … Not exactly what was said. What essentially was said was make a decision on the coaching situation before the game, and then tank it.–Joe

@Buccaneer Bonzai
Its like the other day, I heard one of the local writers on the radio, Saying that Coach Mike Smith has to go and that the pass rush is totally unacceptable, Then was asked ” was that the GM fault for not having the talent aquired” and the reply was that “Rome was not built in a day”!!!!!!!!! What I do see is a young team, with nothing to play for, Playing very hard!!!
Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!

You hit on all the main points Joe. This was a team that was built to grow together. Seems like bringing in players like Swaggy and TJ did not help the attitude in the locker room. Jameis seemed more comfortable throwing to Brate and Humphries. OJ Howard is a fit because he is an up and coming player from the draft. This year proves that as far as free agency chemistry is so very important. Yes to getting Brook’s attitude and discerning eye especially for existing NFL players. Go Bucs!

#1 Reason as to why Jameis isn’t putting up points. Dirk Koetter is without a doubt one of the absolutely worst Red-zone play callers in the entire NFL.
And that’s why I am thrusting a new moniker upon him. Red-zone pants-crapping Head Coach Dirk Koetter.
