Do Right By Lavonte David
December 13th, 2017Joe will keep this very simple.
Take off the pewter glasses and the Buccaneers have just one thoroughly deserving Pro Bowl player to represent the NFC in Orlando next month. One.
It’s been that kind of season.
His name is Lavonte David.
Sure, you could make weak arguments for Brent Grimes, Gerald McCoy and Patrick Murray, but David is the guy worth fighting for this year.

He wont make the Pro Bowl. He is lumped in to the same position as all the edge rushers in the league. Guys who get sacks will always get more votes.
Thats why he never makes it.

54 responded well to his cancer93 vaccine and played well this year.

I agree he is playing lights out. All the LBs are playing extremely well. Now we just activated Bullough from the PS. We have an unbelievable amount of talent in ht LB core.
I would love to talk Pro Bowl, but I am too focused on researching draft prospects to fix the DE, DT, RB, CB and OC. (move Marpet back to OG)

I find it odd that Devante Bond is the Buccaneer option/representative for the “Special Teamer” category. Josh Robinson and Ryan Smith are the 2 guys who have shined the most on ST coverage this year.

A weak argument can be made for Patrick Murray? Lol Why. He’s been with the Bucs for what – 5 games? Anyone so much as surmises a consideration for Patrick Murray should be denied food and water

He’s played great most of the year, but also been getting picked on in the passing game quite a bit.
It’s funny how often other teams get their best WR matched up against our LBs, but for some reason we can’t ever seem to do that ourselves on offense…
