Oh stop it….Jameis needs to help himself and realize the NFL is scientific/mathematical/analytical football….not backyard QB heroic football he has known all his life….

Getting rid of Koetter to coddle Jamie’s is a HUGE mistake.
We need accountability, not one bad year from a coach and he gets the boot.
How can anyone with football sense say Dirk Koetter isn’t trying to win games with a terrible pass rush and defense overall.

The Buc Realist,
So true! Such a dramatic bunch, “Stick Carriers” starting to remind me of the belly aching from the “Freemanites”. Ask ourselves, can we stick to a plan, or are we reactionary sheep?🐑 🐑 🐑

Lol Joe,

All these quitters, wanting to reset this team are what saddens me most. How in the hell can we expect to improve with firing coaches after every two years, and the year after a winning season.

@SteveK
I cannot remember a year when the leader of the “Stick Quitters” did not call for the Bucs Head Coach to be fired!!!!!!!!!!!

Jameis is making mistakes and you hear it every week – he will mature, we hope.

I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it until we get a real EXPERIENCED H.C. here. If this regime couldn’t make it happen with Natty Ice and Julio “Lil Secretariat” Jones, why would we think they could happen with our current roster? Adding on to that sentiment, why did the Falcons get to the SB without the staff that currently haunts the hallways of One Buc place? COACHING/PREPAREDNESS is THE issue and we’ve watched every single player on this team regress (save GMC, Grimes and maybe Brate). So ME13 isn’t good anymore, D Jax isn’t good anymore? The oline looks worse than last year, the defense looks worse… The coaching needs an upgrade to at LEAST the Lovie level that it has back slid from. The Monday night game will be the final nail in the coffin. I’m calling it now, We’ll double team ‘Lil Secretariat but the real coaches in Atl will have anticipated that and change their gameplan and the bucs will again look out classed. BOOK IT!

As a third year starter in the NFL Jameis still makes all of the same mistakes that he made in college. Maybe he just doesn’t take well to coaching

Um, the stickcarriers don’t even really exist any more.
Unless they are all carrying very small sticks, that is…

Jameis needs..Where do we start/ One things for sure..He’s sucked up all Koetter has to offer him. Time to move on. Watching jameis reminds me of a..schoolyard QB on the playground. Helter..then Skelter. HE should be better by now. Much better. I call him..Rev Jameis because of his pregame antics and his..AMAZING collection plate..postgame conferences

PEYTON MANNING for OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR
I doubt he would even consider the job as I imagine he and Eli are going to BUY a team together in the near future, but still … that would be awesome.

My how the narrative has changed.
Spring of 2015: “Jameis Winston has the highest Football IQ since Andrew Luck and is an NFL-ready player!”
Fall of 2017: “We are confident that with the right coaching, Jameis Winston will mature as a player so that he can see the field better, make better decisions, and eliminate the bonehead plays.”

I have been saying all week everything you just said. in the second half of the game I started asking “where are the quick hits and 3 step drops”? How come an offensive genius can’t score an avg of 28 pts / game with these weapons. I haven’t liked the play design / game plans the majority of this year. Think Shula and Parcells and Bellicheck always changing based on opponent and skills of their players to magnify strengths and hide weaknesses.
