Finally, A Decent Kicker
November 19th, 2017See what a kicker can do?
Because of so, so many swings and misses with kickers, the Bucs partially find themselves with a losing record, currently at 4-6.
Pat Murray showed how valuable a decent kicker can be. Murray hit three of four field goals in the win over the Dolphins, including the game-winning boot from 35 yards out.
“I knew going out there it was going through,” Murray told the Buccaneers Radio Network after the game.
Joe doesn’t think it is outrageous to suggest the Bucs very easily could be 6-4 if they had a reliable kicker earlier in the year.
Murray is 10-of-12 on field goals since joining the Bucs five games ago in Arizona.

Correct Joe. Will amost certainly win the New England game at a minimum.

Irish lives matter.

I love how low the bar is when all you have to hang your hat on is some kicker you brought in midseason because you took a bust kicker in the second round. We are all so proud.

Kicking game is solid.
Linebackers are solid.
Let’s fix the rest.
November 19th, 2017 at 4:56 pm
He’s got the luck of the Irish, he’s wearing number seven so that is lucky….and he is lucky to have a job after every other Buccaneers kicker failed. lol

Season Is Over Says
“I love how low the bar is when all you have to hang your hat on is some kicker you brought in midseason because you took a bust kicker in the second round. We are all so proud.”
Trolls never have the story right.
Our new kicker did not replace Robert Aguayo.

iJoe doesn’t think it is outrageous to suggest the Bucs very easily could be 6-4 if they had a reliable kicker earlier in the year.
And wasn’t he available at the start of the year but our braintrust couldn’t figure it out.
November 19th, 2017 at 4:59 pm
Yes, he replaced another bust of a free-agent pick that was needed because your bust of a second round pick. What is your point?
November 19th, 2017 at 5:02 pm
So Dirk & Licht should be cured then for wasting a pick on Roberto then. Cause he was picked on their watch. Their fault.
November 19th, 2017 at 5:02 pm
Fired. Not cured as it came out.

Fitz is undefeated as a starter, Is he Irish? doesn’t matter, start him next week.
November 19th, 2017 at 5:12 pm
He missed a lay up so let’s not go nuts. Clutch game winner…I’ll give him that.
November 19th, 2017 at 5:33 pm
Yes, very nice to have Mr. Murray back. misses will happen but at least he isnt missing most of them.
November 19th, 2017 at 6:37 pm
Amen, brother!
November 19th, 2017 at 6:59 pm
was Fitz qb rating higher then Winston had all year?
November 19th, 2017 at 7:04 pm
He puts a good “fump” on the ball. Sounds a lot better than the Aguayo “fapp.”
November 19th, 2017 at 9:00 pm
ben — Jameis’ passer rating in the Giants and Bills games were both higher than any Fitz has had this season. Keep hatin’ on the franchise though.
November 19th, 2017 at 9:58 pm
@Buc2015,,,No one said anything about JW being the franchise. This has nothing to do about hating on anyone. JW may not see the field the rest of season , he has more off field issues to worry about right now then football. There are no playoffs this season and Fitz has done an adequate job filling in and we may win 2 more games with Fitz but our defensive secondary can not hold Atlanta or New Orleans under 30 points. We will have a complete new coaching staff next season with many personal changes. Must draft Defensive Line, OL and secondary . A GM with a outstanding talent of assessing talent will turn it around for a 9 or 10 win 2018 season.

Taking Aguayo is arguably the worst draft pick in team history. For real.
November 19th, 2017 at 11:52 pm
Why yes Joe, it’s great to have the kicker Licht cut 3 years ago before he started us on this incredible kicking ineptitude carousel before he apparently felt Bucs fans had gotten sick enough before he returned to him.
What a great-great-great-great GM Licht is (that’s one great for every kicker Licht wasted trades, draft picks money and lost games on before he went back to Murray).

@Patricx
do you remember Mark Barron over the all pro MLB Kuechly so we could get another pick and take No.22.
