Unglued Evans, Unglued Jameis, Unglued Bucs
November 5th, 2017Joe loves the Bucs and is in agony like the rest of the Tampa Bay faithful, but it troubled Joe deeply to see the Bucs’ two offensive captains fall apart with the season on the line today.
There was America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, standing on the sidelines injured in the second quarter, and then coming on the field and poking/pushing Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore. Of course, the guy responded with a harmless push of Jameis. And then Mike Evans sprinted a long way to drill the guy in the back.
Look for Evans to be suspended by the NFL for one game, Joe believes. But far worse than that was the fact captain Jameis and Evans were leading the way for the unglued Bucs.
If fans and the team can’t count on these guys, then who the hell is left?
There are eight games to play and the team is a mess, led by too many in their core leadership. It doesn’t get any worse.
This team smells like a team poised for a Raheem Morris 2011 losing streak. which is very sad. And if that happens, there are going to be a load of heads rolling at One Buc.

America’s Present Laughingstock, Captain of Immaturity, Only Seen in Local Markets, Backed into Pro Bowler Because Three Others Backed Out, Benched for Ineptness, Mr. Magoo aka Jameis Winston should be suspended. Anyone else notice when things don’t go his way he does his usual smart alec press conference from the locker room?
November 5th, 2017 at 5:09 pm
i’d rather my captains show emotion and passiton than what we get from the mentally weak defensive captains who have led yet another team to quit on coaches and lay down like cheap dates.
the cancer93 captained defense quit two weeks ago. they could not tackle my fat arse and once again embarrassed themselves.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:09 pm
Inmates running the asylum. Oops, forgot, can’t say that. The black players get upset.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:09 pm
There ain’t enough glue in America to fix this team. Use the top 5 pick on Bradley Chubb DE NC State, hire Matt Patricia, and let him fix this team. He’s a defensive mastermind. Turned a whole lotta zeros to heroes in NE
November 5th, 2017 at 5:10 pm
Honestly, I don’t think with our talent, are going to become a much better team next year. We have elite receivers and we get little to no production out of them. This offseason we better signed FA’s with heart and motivation on the D-line, CB, and QB because its gonna be a long time before we’re consistently “good”
November 5th, 2017 at 5:11 pm
Yes Joe, and its all inexcusable. It all falls on the head coach. This team is full of unprepared, soft players. Talented but unprepared. Anyone who thinks its the talent level is nuts. This team is far more talented than some winning teams, bills, jets are examples. The coaching staff is a major travashamockery. Inexcusable is the word tbat keeps coming to mind. I hope the glazers dont go status quo and wait until the end of season. Get a jump start now, might find a hidden gem. This team is mentally weak. Ugh im over it.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:11 pm
@bucster
Eat a d!ck please… that’s one of our friendly NY sayings for your racist troll a$$
November 5th, 2017 at 5:12 pm
I agree shut down Winston to protect him and pick Cubb or Barkley in the top 4 or 5 and hire a coach with an offensive mind like Sean McVay he has the Rams and Goff balling right now in first season good coach could have the same impact here.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:13 pm
This Buccaneers fever they talk about on commercials is very real, Ive been getting it every Sunday through Tuesday for the last 4 weeks, it actually started on a Thursday night, It also has a virus that makes you sick to your stomach.
Yes it is starting to look like Rahs last season as a HC, the only difference is we have more talent, on offense at least.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:13 pm
Joe must have extreme faith in “Winning” Coach Dirk Koetter…
And…..don’t tell me we don’t have talent..We would get high draft picks for Winston, Evans, Jackson, Brate, Howard and even a decent pick for Humphries…..
For the exception of Marpet, I don’t think anyone else on our Oline has value.
As far as the D…..well we have Tmax, Kwon, LVD, Hargreaves,
And…..our best player……Brian Anger
November 5th, 2017 at 5:13 pm
Now back to football… Jameis that was disgraceful and unbecoming of a franchise QB bro… second time too let’s not forget about the head butt you did before
November 5th, 2017 at 5:14 pm
maybe if captain choirboy showed some emotion the defense would not come out flat so much and lay down faster than crackwhore
November 5th, 2017 at 5:14 pm
While I may not appreciate Jameis being the one setting Lattimore straight. The kid had no business walking down our sideline running his mouth long after the play was over with. And ME13 was doing what you’re supposed to do. Protect your teammate. When your QB and Star WR show more passion than everyone else. It shows there’s bigger problems with our Team as whole.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:15 pm
This post won’t go over well with the J-miss fanboys.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:16 pm
Heads need to roll and unfortunately that’s all they need is for someone to come in here who doesn’t care where you were drafted or how much you make, they’ll have to earn it, earn the start earn the right to play for this team. We need a reboot because this coaching loves a familiar face it’s not about who’s more talented to them
November 5th, 2017 at 5:16 pm
I thought the Bucs were only 1-2 players away from really making a run… good god was I wrong!!! But for real Joe, can we seriously stop with this “America’s qb” thing?
November 5th, 2017 at 5:16 pm
Left tackle needs to be our first pick. That is if you value your QB.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:17 pm
America’s Present Laughingstock, Captain of Immaturity, Only Seen in Local Markets, Backed into Pro Bowler Because Three Others Backed Out, Benched for Ineptness, Mr. Magoo aka Jameis Winston IS NOT A FRANCHISE QB.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:17 pm
Our leaders are not going to be a perfectly-mannered 2-6 team. They probably draw the line at 4-4. After that, the only fix is winning – winning plays and winning games.
No Buc is “counting on” any other Buc when there’s nothing left to count on anybody for.
And I disagree the season was on the line. This game was lost and at 2-6, the season is not on the line. It had already swam away.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:18 pm
yeah…Koetter …the team lost him when they understood he thought they should not take a knee during the NATIONAL anthem…the NFL is in a heap of trouble…except for the top 6 teams…any particular year, the other 26 are good with their W’2’s at the end of the year…and we keep fishing on reject mental losers each FA signing season….this ain’t the NFL of my memories….you don’t need to respect a coach in football….you need to fear him…CBA took that away….
November 5th, 2017 at 5:19 pm
Thank you BucsFanInNC that is exactly right and all everyone wants to talk about is what Jameis and Evans did. If you want to run your mouth then you might get popped and guess what he got popped. You want to talk tough then expect to get some tough reaction. All the people on this board saying what they did was immature well they clearly have never have had anyone talking trash right to their face, sometimes you get what you deserve.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:21 pm
TampaBayBucFan………Kwon is not a good player. All I can say is that he was a good player……..I can say the same with VHIII along with Winston……VHIII is only spared ridicule because Bress missed his throw.
Every good(formerly) player on this team is getting worse. On top of that they are wildly unprepared. The amounts of missed assignment are becoming more and more frequent.
We have went from a team whose fans were actually predicting Super Bowls to one of the worst teams(based on this six game streak) in franchise history. I know we have had some very horrible teams but this team has actually been bad enough over these six games to make an argument for them being the absolute worst.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:24 pm
Who would’ve guessed Evans was an emotional over reactor? We’ve never seen that from him before.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:26 pm
Bro max…..shut the f**k up dude……I am not in the mood for your ignorance today.
Yeah McCoy is a stiff……we all watched it today……..But today is not the day for your narrow minded opinion………In case you jus crawled out from your rock this team is horrible in every asset of the game.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:27 pm
JimmyJack
reality sucks so deal with it head on
November 5th, 2017 at 5:31 pm
Evans should get a one-game suspension at the least, Jameis should get a hefty fine and basically, there’s not a lick of discipline on this team at the moment………Joe may love the Bucs but they look like a band of unruly children out there, what’s to love?
November 5th, 2017 at 5:32 pm
That’s the result you get when you draft and name captain 2 immature punks.
November 5th, 2017 at 5:34 pm
Tmaxcon is right. We need heart and passion on this team. There is a difference between players who play for the game and players who play for the show. Jameis and GMC are two different breeds yet it’s funny how the media will try to make Jameis be the scapegoat. Underlying matter is he is our man. GMC will be walking the plank. We will be a better team for it because guys will learn to appreciate what it takes to WIN!
November 5th, 2017 at 5:49 pm
GM-Gone
Head Coach-gone
America’s QB— now playing for his 5th year option to get picked up for a new coach who may not want to be the 3rd coach fired trying to make Winston a decent qb. Winston may be somewhere else next season.
America’s Coach Killer is more like it.
Who would have thought that the biggest fantasy program on HBO this summer wasn’t t game of thrones but “Hard Knocks – Buccaneers on the verge”
November 5th, 2017 at 5:56 pm
yeah, they aren’t going to pick up the fifth year option…. that would be a great idea
November 5th, 2017 at 5:56 pm
Enough already with the Coaches being the ones not able to “teach” the players. These same players have been with these same coaches since the spring working on their games. So if the coaches go over a play and where each player is supposed to be and what they are to be doing if X, Y, Z happens. If they call the same play in a game and players do not do what they are supposed to do, and do not go where they are supposed to be, is that a coaching issue? I am sick of most of the Buccaneer players lack of testicular fortitude, we get hit in the mouth and curl up. Little to no punch back no kicking no bashing the skulls of the other team or our on players skulls who are slacking off. This to me is shameful, these players get paid well to perform to the payment level they are being paid. Lack of care during this is cause for me to want to sharpen the ax.
Coaches coach and players play or not. Players are the ones on the field, not the coaches. Yes, coaches make bad decisions, clock management, player substitutions. But the only ones on the field are the players. Have you seen the coaches not hustle down the filed to make a tackle, have you seen coaches drop the ball, false start, have a personal foul? No, it is the players on the field who have to have some pride and want to even if that might mean you have to bust your former teammates in the mouth and bloody their lip, BECAUSE YOU WANT TO WIN!
November 5th, 2017 at 5:57 pm
Yup. The entire team, especially on the defensive side of the ball, sucks bc of 1 tackle smh. Tmaxipad called out David earlier in the year only for him to ball out (he has this whole year). No mention of how the offense hasn’t done ish but keeps beating the McCoy drum. I know, I’ll be called a “fanboy” and McCoy nut hugger (his typical comeback) but the problems this team has is much bigger than McCoy. For the record, I WOULD get rid of both McCoy AND Martin for any draft picks we could get (we would have to cut Martin bc nobody is dumb enough to trade for him with that contract, I know that!) anyways, I thought this season the Bucs were a player or two away from making a run and I couldn’t have been anymore wrong than that.
November 5th, 2017 at 6:13 pm
Winston is following Vinny Testeverde’s career trajectory. Anointed as aviors of bad organizations, without the mental game to be a franchise QB. Bucs. See to find their Kirk Cousins.
November 5th, 2017 at 6:30 pm
I doubt Evans gets suspended … I think AJ Green will only get one game and no way NFL gives Evans the same suspension for defending his QB and getting a foul instead of going whacko on a DB and punching him repeatedly as AJ Green did to Jalen Ramsey … but who knows?
November 5th, 2017 at 6:39 pm
My two cents…season is over….Winston instigated the situation and Mike came over and laid the fuc*ing wood. Good for for him. Not the best judgement call but hey when your sucking balls why not tank the rest of the season for the best possible pick and let other teams know you walk with a big mother fuc*ing stick.
November 5th, 2017 at 6:41 pm
This team and our franchise qb is regressing under dirk….he has lost this team….he must go now!!!…simple as that!!!…GO BUCS!!!
November 5th, 2017 at 6:53 pm
Winston has played like dog crap the last 2 games. He’s also been injured the last 2 games. Coincidence? Maybe. Probably not. The injury wasn’t as bad against the Bills. He aggravated it in the game and played well after, but we all know adrenaline will numb the pain and it will be much worse the next morning. The last 2 games he has kept aggravating it and now the injury is probably season ending. Moral of this story: injured players play worse that healthy players. Weird, right?
November 5th, 2017 at 7:21 pm
Joe’s
Do an article about the bucs cheerleaders so tmaxybutthong can blame it on McCoy-the cancer.
November 5th, 2017 at 7:21 pm
Evans prob will be suspended but ya know what, he was defending his quarterback. He didn’t see the dumb actions by Jameis that set off that chain of event.
Our “franchise leader”, the “messiah” on the other hand, was a complete idiot. Poor play, poor leadership and and mentally weak.
November 5th, 2017 at 7:43 pm
Jameis obviously is playing hurt. I mean come on guys since the Cards game he has been not good. That’s when he was hurt, yes he played well in the second half of Bills game but his throwing shoulder is injured. He led this team last two years, first year w zero talent. They went 9-7 last year. I would put him on IR, so his shoulder heals and after everyone is fired bring in a coach that can do for him what is happening in Jax & LA. They were ready to dump Bortles in JAX & admit to a mistake in LA with GOFF. For u so called fans who want Jameis Gone all u need to do is look st THOSE TWO TEAMS QUARTERBACKS THIS YEAR!!! Giving up on Jameis is freaking LUNACY!!!! They love Bortles now. Bring in a coach like Bruce Arians and a real DC & this team will win!
November 5th, 2017 at 7:59 pm
I don’t want him gone, I want him to make better decisions. I want him to remember how to pump fake and look off defenders. The things that good quarterbacks do…
But I do agree on the possibility of IR. At least sitting for a while. He was better for the Bills game be re-injured it, and has not looked good since. Not ready to write him off, he’s too young with too much potential. So let him actually get healthy. Maybe sitting and watching will help him see things more clearly once he’s back in the game.
November 5th, 2017 at 8:15 pm
Came back here just to see what people are saying about JW. General consensus seems like it’s not so hot for him, anymore. Lack of maturity is a killer at this level. It’s killed more talented players than Winston, before.
Gotta face facts, if he hasn’t made the jump this far into season 3, it will likely not happen in season 4. And, at that point, there is no reason for Tampa, or the GM and (likely new) HC to reload on his contract. Call it a day, and look for an OC who can get the most out of whatever rookie or retread QB you can sign.
November 5th, 2017 at 8:23 pm
It is an indictment of the softness of the entire team, that the hardest lick delivered this entire season to date was a cheap shot to the back by ME13 in retaliation for a tiny shove of Winston, who first “laid hands” on the Saints’ player.

November 5th, 2017 at 8:28 pm
Just watch the twitter capture of Jameis’ pregame hype speech attempt that falls flat. It’s like watching a fool. Rather than the JV rah-rah nonsense, I want the Jameis that let his play do the talking and stood tall and called folks out post Carolina game to end his rookie year. Be a leader that requires maximum effort of everyone around you, Jaboo. Force some damn accountably, already!!! Stop acting like some half-baked, ranting idiot that no one is listening to. Just look around at all the checked out faces on that video- and that’s before kickoff! This team needs an enema…
November 5th, 2017 at 11:21 pm
They employ Mike Smith.
How did you think it would end?
November 6th, 2017 at 9:05 am
Please pick up Simeon Rice. I don’t care if he shows up in a wheelchair, at least he’ll give a crap, try hard, and not put up with nonsense. put Jameis on IR, it’s the kindest thing you can do for him OR sit his butt on the bench like Marrone did to Fournette because that poke to Lattimore was ridiculous. As for Evans, how come it took all these games to get pissed off? It sure hasn’t taken me that long, or many other fans for that matter.
