I’d like to see Jac Smith and Spawn on the field at the same time for pass rushing. The problem is they are both liabilities in the run game. Spence may get better at that, we will see.
Obviously Mike Smith can generate pressure by involving the LBs, but it would be really nice to see the front 4 get consistent pressure. Like you said Steve, the fact that Glennon (one the most immobile QBs in the league) was only sacked once, is pretty unforgivable.
As for the running game, it really wasn’t that effective until we were up by several scores. Which is great at that point, but we need to be able to run the ball when the game is close and the other team’s defense is not yet worn down. Did you see the way Denver ran the ball yesterday? Damn…
Still a great win for the team, but we certainly have to continue improving!

Thanks Joe.
Good catch about cancelling victory Monday. Koetter won’t allow the dreaded Atlanta hangover to happen in Minny next Sunday. Best thing is since DK does the little things right by his players they should understand the team first decision.
Besides, celebrating together today should help our quest for a winning culture here.

@JoeSteve
Could you find out who took over defensive play calling duties after Kwon had to leave the game and let us know?
