How High Will Kwon Go?
September 12th, 2017We all know how good Bucs middle linebacker Kwon Alexander is. Nevermind few outside the Tampa Bay area not named “Peter Schrager” realize this.
If you believe the numbers dug up by the PFF tribe with their trained orangutans, one wonders how good Alexander can really be.
Again, per the tribe, Alexander in his rookie year had 38 defensive stops — even missing the final four games of the season due to a suspension!
In his second year, per the tribe, Alexander was sixth in the category among NFL middle linebackers with 58.
Joe has to wonder just what Alexander can do in his third season. Already he led the NFL in solo tackles (honest data) and is a middle linebacker to be feared.

Li-Ti-Rilla in the bulding!!
That man’s a mixed breed. Says he’s a Lion, a Tiger, and a Gorilla all in one!!

I hope he’s 100% as well. I do get a bit uneasy when I read that there were injuries during preseason games when starters play so little. That begs the question “how will they last an entire season?”

Not very high. He is small and his body will not be able to withstand punishing hits from OL. I see injuries in his future starting this year unfortunately. Sorry to be a Debbie downer but we have all seen this story before

If the Swaggy Baker can clog the middle and free up G-Mac 93 it will make Keon’s job easier on run stuffing and blitzing the QB. It’s his coverage skills that bother me more than anything

Defensive stops is just one statistic that shows how good Kwon really is. He is a beast on the field and is always around the ball and making plays. He will be an All-Pro this year.
