Ticket Prices Falling For Bears Game

It sure seems like Hurricane Irma is driving down ticket prices on the secondary market for the Buccaneers’ season-opener next weekend.
That’s great news for those who put off buying a pair for the most anticipated Bucs opener since Tampa Bay was “Tennessee-Ready” and got chain-whipped by the Titans in 2015.
You remember that debacle, when on the heels of a winless 2014 home season, Bucs fans endured Austin Seferian-Jackwagon showboating into the end zone down 42-7 in the fourth quarter. (Video below)
Anyway, things are looking up for the Bucs — and previously exorbitant ticket prices for Sept. 17 are falling.
At FanRetreat.com, where fees are very minimal, Bucs-Bears tickets are starting at $60 at last check. (Don’t forget your $10 off JOEBUCSFAN discount code.) Rates at StubHub have fallen to about $60 + fees.
If there’s any kind of storm damage around (please, no!), Joe suspects rates could fall significantly, with some Bucs fans having bigger things to worry about and a percentage of Bears fans throwing in the towel on their travel plans.

If that wasn’t the beginning of the end for Lovie, the Capitol Collapse was. Getting b!tch-slapped by the lowly, foot-out-the-door Rams on national TV was the final nail in the coffin.

That Tennessee was truly a horrible experience.
My wife, brother, his kid, and like 4 other people all went to a bar to see it and we were all jacked up about it with tons of expectations. We told our server we needed the game on like 15 mins before it started; only for them to forget / ignore us so we had to remind them right as the game was starting again.
Picture comes on and it’s freaking 14-0 and it was only like 5-10 mins into the game (real time not game clock). I was like WTF is happening.
It was if Lovie Smith catered his defensive strategy to the skill sets of all the Titans so that they could exploit us in the most brutal ways. I could have thrown a few TDs that day on that defense. I definitely could have hit a wide open Kendal Wright 10 yards in front of me for a 70 yard TD. What a freaking joke.

@Lord I had almost the same thing happen to me!
I was with about 7 or 8 friends at a bar, we asked for the game on the TV in front of us. They put it on but then switched it right before kick off. I went up to the bar to get them to change it back, and it was already 7-0, and then 14-0 within 20 seconds.
Ughhhh, thank god Lovie is long gone.

This simply must be the “Irma” effect.
BTW good luck to all who are now in the Tampa Bay area. Our prayers are with you and we hope our home isn’t too damaged when we return in a couple of weeks.
I think too many people in the Tampa Bay area are just too distracted to think about attending the Bears game.
If we could just get a kick to the right…then hopefully running over all the land mass in the middle of the state will help rob Irma of some of her energy.
