Sounds Ugly For DaVonte Lambert
August 26th, 2017The subpar group of Bucs defensive ends sounds like it took a serious hit tonight.
DaVonte Lambert, who had one tackle and a quarterback pressure in the end zone in the loss to Cleveland tonight, left the game with a wrist injury.
After the game, winning Bucs coach Dirk Koetter gave a thumbs-up on the team injury front with the exception of Lambert, who Koetter believes has a long-term problem.
We likely won’t fully know how serious Lambert’s injury is until further tests are performed. Probably Monday at the earliest will the Bucs share the specifics of Lambert’s injury, or even a timetable for a possible return of the second-year DE.
Lambert started five games last season and was active for 11.

Kony Ealy was released by the Pats today.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:38 pm
When Belicheat releases any player two weeks before the season, that just screams “buyer beware.”
August 26th, 2017 at 11:44 pm
DE Koni Ealy is available on waivers from the Pats. Prolly gone before Bucs get a shot.

could have had Jordon Willis with our 2nd….
The kid is tearing it up.
Young pass rushers are overrated.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:48 pm
We REALLY need Pass Rushers!!
August 26th, 2017 at 11:48 pm
Someone please tell me who is better than Kony Ealy on this entire roster?
Stop shtting on poor people. It’s unseemly.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:54 pm
If this guy is so good, why did Belicheat wash his hands of him? Belicheat doesn’t often cut good players.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:54 pm
Does anyone want to talk about the lil mouse known around these parts as Mr Beasting? Speaks loudly and caries that teenzy weenzy little stick in showtime.
Yay media agenda

You don’t need me to point out that you cannot answer the question. Your repetitive stance says enough

Never been a 10-sack guy (as Joe pointed out last year). He is a very good teammate. That kind of stuff never shows up in a box score. Never will.
Of course, Da’Quan Bowers is out there for the taking if Ayers isn’t anyone’s cup of tea.
August 27th, 2017 at 12:05 am
Ok so Ayers aka Mr Yeasting is better than a guy that doesn’t play football how?
Keep digging
August 27th, 2017 at 12:08 am
So if Bill Bellichek cuts a player, they’re pretty much done in the NFL. Is that the rationale? Because I don’t believe Bill is infallible.
August 27th, 2017 at 12:11 am
Throw up the stat sheet for Mr Yeasting this preseason and tell me all the great inside football craftiness that he exhibited which doesn’t show up on the stat sheet?
August 27th, 2017 at 12:13 am
Maybe Bowers ain’t looking much worse sitting on his New Orleans stoop getting after those tunes he’s belting out
August 27th, 2017 at 12:29 am

Or why did the Panthers trade him?
I would take a flier on him, however. It was low risk, high reward for the Patriots….could be the same for the Buccs.Buccs play a different defense than the Patriots as well….

August 27th, 2017 at 9:50 am
DaVonte Lambert wasn’t going to make the final roster a anyway. None issue.
August 27th, 2017 at 2:09 pm
BucTrooper
Bill has more super bowl appearances than the entire buc franchise has playoff wins… i’ll go with bill

Ealy is toxic in the lockerroom. It was more behavior him being allowed out Rivera’s fold more so than his play. If you can’t get with the so called “patriots way” then who’s way will you.
