“I Want To Get Punched… “
August 15th, 2017You have to be hardcore to want to get drilled by Superman.
But that is Bucs stud defensive tackle Gerald McCoy. He’s one serious dude when it comes to superheroes.
A scene in tonight’s “Hard Knocks” featured a production crew following GMC to his lair. While some may have man caves, GMC has a shrine to superheroes. Batman, Superman, you name it. If there is a superhero out there, it is likely represented in GMC’s makeshift museum.
In fact, there is a lifesize figurine of Batman in GMC’s shrine, his favorite superhero.
“If you ask me to pick who I [wanted to be], I always say Batman,” GMC said. “People say, ‘Why won’t you pick the Hulk? You are a big guy.’ I feel like in order to be the Hulk, you have to be Hulkish athletically.
“Personally, I don’t feel like I am. I feel like I am more Batman because he doesn’t have any superpowers, and he can fight with anybody. My entire life I have had to figure out how to compete with all of these super athletes. I always found a way to and I feel that’s what Batman does.”
Aside from winning the Super Bowl, GMC confessed he has a lifelong dream: To feel the fist from a superhero.
“The ultimate, ultimate goal is to get punched by a superhero,” GMC said. “I want to get punched by a superhero. Hard. Extremely hard. I feel like sometimes they hit dudes and, gah-lee man, how hard does that dude hit? I want to experience it — well, not really, but on TV.”
In lieu of getting lit up by a superhero, GMC decides to light up offensive guards instead.

This guy is more worried about getting a cameo in a movie then winning a Super Bowl. He’s said he wants to be an actor since day one. He’s A class a loser.

Lame… Gerald McCoy has been an A class bad ass… He’s been getting it done year in and year out without anyone next to him to take advantage of the double teams… Injured and not… Different coaching staff every 2 years… Has the respect of players and coaches across the league… So what if he wants to be in a movie, does that mean he doesn’t want to hold the Lombardi up? I come here every day, hardly every comment… I recognize the usual suspects on this site, I’ve never seen your name here, you made one up just to make one comment… LAME! Talk to St. Pete up in Michigan or HawaiianBuc for an intelligent conversation, please…

Wow. That doesn’t sound very “soft” at all. In fact it sounds pretty hard-core and badarse. So let Howard get his facts straight….
