“Thank You For That Flag” (Video & Report)

August 15th, 2017

Fiery day

Perhaps it was the “Jaboo” taunting, trash talk coming at America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, from Jaguars players today at a joint Bucs-Jags practice in sweltering Jacksonville.

Or perhaps it was the high-octane fights that broke out on the field.

Whatever it was, Jameis was rather fired up at practice.

In the video below, you’ll see Exhibit A why wide receiver Adam Humphries has Jameis’ trust. You’ll also see Humphries draw a foul while catching a touchdown, and then you’ll see Jameis coming over to bark multiple thank yous at the official who made the call.

Jameis had plenty of other passionate moments today. Joe particularly liked Jameis getting on undrafted wide receiver Bobo Wilson to finish a play. Wilson had drawn a flag and then let up in the end zone before dropping a pass from Jameis.

Not a great day again for the Bucs offense, but Jameis’ drive is evident, as usual.

    Joe
From all other accounts the offense was pretty good today. Just seems like you enjoy being negative

    Ouch

Mike, maybe the Offense wasn’t as sharp 11 on 11?

  4. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    How was Joe negative above????

Mike, you need to learn to comprehend, buddy!

Not a great day again for the Bucs offense,

Not that MikeEvansGoat needs my help but I suspect this was the concluding sentence that he was referring to.

When it’s not a great day again I take that to mean yesterday must have been less than stellar as well.

I didn’t see any of the practices. I’m not sure what a great day would represent.
But the word NOT…is definitely considered negative and not positive. So technically I think it’s a bit difficult to argue that point with Mike. But as always YMMV.

Was I the only StickCarrier that watched $45M Glennon embarrass his coach against the Denver Broncos? Sheez, glad that guy ain’t on my team!! In steps Trubinsky and the show was on. The rook was awesome; he hit like eight passes before someone dropped a pass. And Jonathan Banks? Hmmm, don’t miss him, either. T looked like the real deal to me. See ya Mike ‘Deer in the headlights’ Glennon. BTW, nice pick 6 on yer first pass as an unbearable Bear. GHS is rolling in his grave, you stink MG!! On the positive for the Chicago sleps was running back Callaghan. Dude looked like he knew what to do. Can’t wait for our Bucs to square up against our castoffs. Looking at you AguaBYE-O!!

The more I see of Jameis and McCoy- the more grateful I am, that they are in our team
Love how Hard Knocks is showing everyones kids and family.
Meybe some of the dumber fans around here will stop seeing them as a collection of Madden stats, and realize that they are human beings, with people who love them and depend on them.
    Meybe.
McCoy is a monster!! You can see what the coaches are talking about- when
they say McCoy disrupts half the offensive plays. Hes an incredible talent!
    And a really nice guy!
    Go Batman Go!
