Yesterday’s deep dive on America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, and NFL history got Joe thinking.
How does Mike Evans stack up with other NFL wide receivers?
Evans, who has averaged over 1,000 yards in each of his first three seasons, is in some rare company. In fact, only four other wide receivers in history have racked up as many receiving yards (3,578) as Evans has in their respective first three seasons in the NFL.
Really!
The receivers who surpassed Evans are Randy Moss, Odell Beckham, A.J. Green and Tory Holt. That’s it! Evans has more yards in his first three seasons than Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, John Jefferson (who was a freaking sick monster when he first came into the league), James Lofton and Julio Jones.
Evans even has more yards in his first three seasons than Jerry Rice! Seriously!
Not only is Evans well on his way to becoming the best receiver in Bucs history, at this rate he may just make a run at Canton. Will eye-RAH! still be on this side of the ground to get him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame?

He may have had KY hands his second year but still made 1000 yards. Can you imagine how many yards this guy would have had he not had the case of the dropsies?

Evans totals up to now are astonishing and he makes it look so easy, the hand chucking and checking can go either way with this Bucs fan holding his breath that the refs call the penalty on the defense. Added pass catching talent should give Evans more space.

37 when we faced the hawks last season I knew shernan had his work cut out because ME loves press coverage and that physicality at the los. Needless to say sherm didn’t tell ME to get in the gyn because he was weak the way he told garcon a few season’s ago.

I can understand picking on Ira’s age in a fun way on the podcasts, but bringing up death is not funny at all. Shame on you Joe!
