Eagles’ Safety Just Bad Coaching
October 11th, 2009The humiliating Eagles safety with one-minute remaining was just further evidence that Raheem The Dream and Greg Olson are second-rate.
First, why was Cadillac Williams even in the game? Why? Why?
If the guy’s your No. 1 back and he’s got a fragile history, why are you giving him the ball to run off tackle from the end zone knowing the Eagles are going to do whatever they can to rip his legs off to get those two points. They were in the backfield all day. Absolutely stupid, if you ask Joe.
Second, Raheem The Dream could have just had Josh Johnson sneak up the middle once and then take a knee.
If the coaches can’t make the right calls with the game out of reach …

I see RahRah has already perfected the “cross-your-arms-and-stare-vacantly” position that Coach Dungy perfected while he was here. Where is all that emotion he displayed earlier? Now he just has the deer in the headlights look while he mumbles something into the headset. This team went from 9-3 to unwatchable in a few short weeks.

MY,MY,My, How a few games can change people. Joe, I thought you were in favor of this new direction the Glazer boys are headed. Having second thoughts? It’s almost comical. Karl, did I spell every word correctly? I hope so. I know you are grading my blogs.

Joe here,
JK, you crack me up. This is a short post about a bad decision. No second thoughts, just stunned disbelief at some of the amateur crap we’re seeing.

Joe this was ONE of MANY bad decisions that Raheem made today.
The first was going for it on 4th and 3 instead of taking the field goal.
I’m sorry but it was the first quarter and you just brought in a NEW kicker so why go for it? That set the tone of the day.
As for keeping Caddy in there backed up on the endzone – that was BJ Askew area 100%.
What about the decisions to have Blitz’s on defense? Freaking Philly was blitzing just about every play in the 3rd quarter. How many blitz’s did the Bucs have? Wasn’t that a part of the Bates package?
Gaines Adams – there’s another terrible decision to leave that excuse for a DE in the game. You know it’s sad when you start hoping that a player on your team gets injured so he won’t play. I know that’s wrong but…

dumb and dumber need to resign is jags still living in the bay area, is he working, maybe they can rehire him cant be any worse than these clowns, maybe thats one of the reasons they fired him they were afraid he would replace them mid-season!

I couldn’t help but wonder as I watched if the Bucs could even beat some college teams with that display of coaching.

The real question here again, is Sean Mahan??? Why is he on the team? He was completely run over on the Safety play. The tackle came right straight through Mahan as if he wasn’t there. How many other plays did that happen to Mahan? Uh, like, every one. Duh, Coaching Sucks.
