“Don’t Ask Me No Dumb Questions”
April 21st, 2017Don’t go taking pot shots at Florida State with Jameis nearby.
The craziest Joe has ever seen the Bucs locker room before a practice was when America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, Louis Murphy and Russell Shepard got into a loud, wild hollering match over who played on the best college football team.
Shepard argued LSU (though they never won a title when he played). Murphy argued Florida, where he won a ring. And Jameis, of course, won a ring at Florida State and he made sure everyone in the locker room was reminded.
Murphy zinged Jameis saying though his Gators lost a game, they never had to play Virginia, which he deemed an FSU cupcake.
Jameis shot back that his team was undefeated and beat SEC champ Auburn in the Rose Bowl.
Jameis doesn’t take too kindly when someone cuts down Florida State in his presence. So yesterday it was pretty cool when, during an #AskJameis Twitter feature hosted by the Bucs, Jameis fielded questions from the public, video stylle.
Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans decided to tweak Jameis asking if his 2012 Texas A&M Aggies, led by Johnny Football, could take the 2013 Seminoles.
Jameis had a classic comeback that you can see and hear below. Jameis began his retort with, “Don’t ask me no dumb questions!”

Slow predraft days. Gotta give Joe credit for at least trying to come up with something. Ah well…only six more days.

Don’t ask dumb questions you get no smart a$$ answers! It’s as simple as that!

It is so nice to have an Alpha Male QB again.
We had one once, anyone remember Josh Freeman ?
At one time, Josh was such a bad ass Alpha Male, that he spiked the ball, while he did the Dirty Bird in the Atlanta end zone, when we scored a TD!
I still wonder WTF ever happened to THAT Josh Freeman ?

He lost weight!

I love Jameis Winston

Chris, he tried out for a few NFL teams and I thought joe mentioned he went up to Canada to play. Don’t quote me on that. Either way he’s washed up. Glad he’s off the roster

That is hilarious stuff by both of them. Love it! 2 most important guys on offense. Now we need a stud running back

That’s how you know their jelling when they are roasting each other.

Nice

Sorry but that Tebow led Florida team was better than Jameis’s noles.

Do we really believe Josh Freeman was an alpha male. He was big and physical if that’s your total criteria…but his leadership was totally lame…gets voted out as captain….Freeman was neither an Alpha nor Beta male…he was not a leader or follower…he was simply out there…a strange dude. I NEVER compare him in the same sentence with #3…that’s just sacriligious.

Not really a FSU fan, but when draft time rolls around their top players are top notch and welcome to become Bucs. The more the merrier. I’ll always pull for the Gators to best them in head to head competition. That’s been sour lately but I expect the Gators to reclaim dominance over FSU coming up.

The Noles would have stomped A&M … and TeBow’s Gators teams … and had Kelvin Benjamin returned and not went to the NFL draft Jameis would have repeated as both Heisman and Champion and left FSU with a 28-0 record (instead of 26-1) with TWO Heisman’s and TWO titles.
As-is … Jameis is still the greatest 2-year NCAA QB ever.
As for TeBow … I actually think that had Percy Harvin returned instead of entered the draft early, TeBow would have won his 3rd ring as well … but he was no Jameis.

Cool to see our young Buc leaders are friends, in addition to teammates.
Josh Freeman. What a waste.
Yeah, he was a ferrous leader, when he first came here. He carried a horrible Buc team to a winning record- to the amazement of the Entire league!
Then his outside . Um . “Hobbies” . Took over, and he went crap fast- and never came back.
He was horrible at the end. But there was a time, when it was all about Freeman

Freeman was ever only a game-manager …

Sharpen those pencils!

Jeeze, how quick we forget ?
How many times did Josh Freeman bring us back from certain defeat, in our most winning season in recent memory ?
I don’t know WTF went wrong with him, but he was anything but a game manager, for awhile.
And of course, he is certainly no Jameis Winston.
