Dirk Koetter Likes To Play Copycat In The AFC
March 4th, 2017Sit down for this one.
Speaking to an out of town sports radio station, Dirk Koetter dropped an ironic twist in the laps of Bucs fans this week, and it sure feels like a window to what he desires this offseason.
Koetter said that when he studies film of other teams looking for fresh ideas and their execution, his eyes head quickly to Nashville, home of Marcus Mariota and head coach Mike Mularkey.
The Tennessee Titans run basically the same offense as the Bucs, Koetter said Wednesday, and they do it well.
“The Titans are a team I watch a lot on offense. Coach Mularkey, Terry Robiskie are two guys I have a lot of respect for, We run similar systems,” Koetter said on WGFX-FM in Nashville. “Even though it may not look that way, but we’re basically running the same offensive system. So I know that’s a team that I like to watch to get ideas from those guys on how they’re attacking teams that we both play. They did a great job this year; the Titans did an awesome job. Hopefully, they don’t take all the guys we want [in the offseason] or we don’t take all the ones they want.”
First, that’s damn interesting when you consider when and where Mariota was drafted, and that Koetter was a Mariota guy out of the gate before joining the bandwagon of America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston.
But even more interesting, the Titans are a bellcow back attack. DeMarco Murray had a whopping 293 carries, third most in the NFL, for 1,287 yards and nine touchdowns last season.
This further illustrates to Joe that Koetter wants to pound the rock with a between-the-tackles workhorse. Of course, that’s why Doug Martin was re-signed, but that didn’t work out, and there’s no evidence Jacquizz Rodgers can handle that kind of load.
Will the Bucs turn to Latavius Murray in free agency? A first-round running back in the draft? Is their guy lurking in later rounds?
Regardless, it’s safe to say Koetter wants the Bucs offense looking more like the 2016 Titans’.
March 4th, 2017 at 1:10 pm
And the titans want what we have. And that’s a top 5 wr. They have a great stable of running backs and we don’t
March 4th, 2017 at 1:11 pm
Maybe it’s a sign we go WR in the first and Donta Forman in the 2nd.
March 4th, 2017 at 1:47 pm
Whew Ross ran a 4.22
March 4th, 2017 at 1:48 pm
Ha Dirk still loves Mariotta to this day. Can’t say I blame him.
March 4th, 2017 at 1:49 pm
I would think the falcon model would make more sense considering the ability of our young trigger man. Mariota and Cam types will always depend heavily on the presence of potent running game. In a year or so Fameis will be on the next level of QBing i.e able to win a game or two even if the running game isn’t clicking on a particular Sunday. H3ll given the proper tools he’ll be that this up coming season.
March 4th, 2017 at 1:50 pm
sam that young man will always be relegated to a specific offense. Not sure he’ll ever be able to totally read defenses.
March 4th, 2017 at 2:07 pm
@nosbos
Check out Walter football. They have some stuff up regarding the bucs and offensive weapons. They don’t think they will be getting cook. Called it “wishful thinking” they like day 2 WRs and rbs and day 1 TEs
March 4th, 2017 at 2:13 pm
And “supersam” is still to this day on his knees for mariotta’s crotch.
March 4th, 2017 at 2:16 pm
To be completely fair the Walter Football rumor mill article quoted the team source saying it was “wishful thinking” that Cook would fall to them at #19. It technically didn’t rule out the trade up idea.
BUT
It does mention how they appear to be interested in McCaffrey in round 1 and then named about 5 guys they like on Day 2 including Marlon Mack who was featured on this site yesterday and Samaje Perine. So that is 6 other RBs that they believe can be “good enough to start quickly in their careers” in the first 3 rounds that they won’t have to trade up for
March 4th, 2017 at 2:23 pm
Wishful thinking??? I’m up to three GMs in the top ten willing to trade out of the top ten for extra picks. Seems like to me they can take that wishful thought and shove it. Y’all get caught up in headlines but NFL head’s don’t get caught up in fan chatter. Jamaal Charles 4.36 drafted third round.
March 4th, 2017 at 2:27 pm
I love Mariota too … but he’s no Famous Jameis Winston, he’s just not. He’s a system QB that doesn’t seem to read defenses that well, seems injury prone and not a true “leader”.
I also don’t see any real similarities between the Bucs and Titans offensive schemes as it seems the only time Mariota throws the ball more than 10 yards down the field is off play action and when a receiver is wide open, whereas Jameis is gun-slinging all over the field at any time.
March 4th, 2017 at 2:30 pm
I think Dirk is saying that he wants our run game to be as good as theirs is. And if we had a run game like that it would help JW3 ALOT
March 4th, 2017 at 2:33 pm
Titans have a top 5 Ofeensive Line which obviously helps their running game. We are still missing a Center and RT
March 4th, 2017 at 2:45 pm
@NosBos If someone in close with the Bucs said the feeling is that it’s wishful thinking to get Cook, that tells me that we have 0 interest in trading Up.
Especially when the same report said that the Bucs are very High on O.J. Howard, Christian McCaffrey, Corey Davis, and David Njoku.
March 4th, 2017 at 2:46 pm
As while as a number of later round Rb’s. The trade up ain’t going down. Calling it now.
March 4th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
TE’s are up next. Can’t wait for draft night!
March 4th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
Licht likes to copy the Pats format too….I see some smaller receivers and a big TE in the future…not all at once though….patience.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:05 pm
Wow. Evan Engram just flew. 4.43 Incredible speed from the 235 pounder. Looks like those Jordan Reed Comparisons could be founded in reality…
March 4th, 2017 at 3:07 pm
HOLY MOLEY O.J. HOWARD WITH A 4.51!!!!!!!!!!
AT 6’5 3/4 and 251! He might not be there for us now. 🙁 But holy crap that’s impressive from a dude so big.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:13 pm
The Titans have played the easiest schedule in the league over the last 2 years – if they have anything we should want, that should be it. Also the Bucs run an offense based around having a pocket passer – if the Titans are doing the same I’d just ask why. Anyways those fantasy football players that just look at the stat lines, just keep in mind Mariota’s big numbers have came almost exclusively versus 3rd rate defenses, and that’s something he’s seen a ton of. If you flipped the schedules around the Titans are going like 5-11 or 6-10 last season while the Bucs I think might legitimately be a 12-4 team in the AFC South, it’s that bad of a division.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:14 pm
So let me get this Walter football camp is in close with the Bucs Organization??? Really bro..
March 4th, 2017 at 3:18 pm
And I just stated the fact that there ate already a few GMs that have made statements that are seeking to move out of the top ten. Which leads me to believe that if indeed Licht felt it necessary it wouldn’t be that hard. Honestly I don’t think we’ll have to move for Dalvin at all.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:18 pm
Joeypoppems Says:
March 4th, 2017 at 12:06 pm
Walter football has an interesting rumor mill article about the Bucs interested in offense early and names specific players that could be targets at #19 including some obvious names and some names discussed quite a bit on this site. Also an interesting opinion from a “Team Source” on the idea of landing Dalvin Cook. It is an interesting read
https://walterfootball.com/nfldraftrumormill
—————————————————————————————
Read it for yaself bruh.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:21 pm
The class is deep right.. And according to you and many others its nonesince taking RBs early right. I mean you told me last night the weakling McCaffery out performed Dalvin yesterday right. Seems to me around 19 is about right.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:24 pm
Cook is not going to be a buc, watch he will get hurt alot in the nfl. He already has had how many injuries and it’s not nfl men hitting him yet.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:24 pm
Tell me before I waste my time does he name said source number 1. And Number 2 if the draft isn’t rigged the way I feel it somewhat is would it not make sense to lead others to believe you are not interested in a particular player if you are indeed seeking His services. C’mon bro use your brain.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:26 pm
Robbie how many games did he miss while posting 5500 yards. And that bad shoulder didn’t appear too bad at all pushing 225 22 times Jack😉.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:27 pm
Yes, I do believe that McCaffery looked like the better athlete/ receiver yesterday.
But scouts still have Cook rated higher. With the success of Zeke last year, in a copy cat league, there will be a Gm in the First 14 picks that takes Dalvin, he could even end up as the 1st Rb off the board.
And the fact that the Rb class is so deep leads me to believe that there is 0 possibility of us trading up for the guy.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:27 pm
Who’s next???
March 4th, 2017 at 3:27 pm
Like I said earlier. I think the team source said it was wishful thinking for Cook to fall to #19. Nothing about trades are mentuoned. However if there are 6 other RBs that they like including McCaffrey in round 1 then they would have to love Cook head and shoulders above the rest of them to make a move as expensive as moving into the Top 10. Very realistic chance they could stay where they are and take one of the many other RBs they are high on.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:28 pm
Maybe so Blake but we already got money on it right??? So why are you still trying to convince me bro???
March 4th, 2017 at 3:29 pm
how bout this. we triple the bet to 150? and drop the 100 dollar bet on Mixon.
What do you thin?
March 4th, 2017 at 3:30 pm
Yep Pop and they can stay where they are and take Dalvin. Draft night Approaches soon. You wanna bet sum???
March 4th, 2017 at 3:31 pm
Nice try Blake but I’ll pass My G.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:32 pm
So you’re not confident enough to bet 150 on Dalvin not coming to tampa?
March 4th, 2017 at 3:33 pm
Do y’all live near Tampa??? We can meet at the party if you wanna bet cash.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:34 pm
Yeah bro, I live near Temple Terrace.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:34 pm
You lost me bro. But you ain’t slidin out that mixon deal. You talked all that noise so ima see to it you stand by your man.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:35 pm
So lets hook up draft night..
March 4th, 2017 at 3:35 pm
I asked you want to triple our bet on Dalvin to $150?
March 4th, 2017 at 3:35 pm
I already got the day off.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:36 pm
I might not be in town. I have to travel 5 days out of the week for work. But maybe.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:36 pm
We can triple the bet no biggie but the mixon bet still stands.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:37 pm
Come on McCaffrey. A RB stable on Caf, Quizz, and Peyton would give us a good core to build from. As would signing Charles on the cheap, which it will be cause of his injuries.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:37 pm
It’s a deal then.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:41 pm
I have no interest in betting random strangers on the internet on something as unpredictable as the NFL Draft.
There is a chance Dalvin Cook could fall to #19 and there is a chance he can be a Top 10 pick. The shoulder seems to not be as big of an issue right now, he is healthy, so arguably the biggest negative on him doesn’t exist anymore.
If every RB in the draft is still available at #19 I think Dalvin Cook would be there pick. I just don’t know if they love him so much more than all the others to have him at all cost like you think they do.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:43 pm
Pop you play poker??? Even if you don’t everyone knows you don’t show your hand. It would be negligent.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:46 pm
So let me get this str8 if Dalvin sits atop they’re draft board the way I feel he does. Would it better that they were telling everyone that would listen how badly they wanted the kid??? I mean C’mon man. “A team source said”. I wouldn’t believe that silliness if Jason Licht came out and said they are not looking at Dalvin Cook tomorrow.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:46 pm
@nosbos
R u going to sports legends for the draft party?
March 4th, 2017 at 3:47 pm
So you never show your hand but all the Dalvin Cook articles and pictures and interviews on the website you were all excited about yesterday is legit? How does that make sense?
March 4th, 2017 at 3:52 pm
Cant do rhat without a strong o line. I am really comi g alo g to this john ross kid now. Just read his story and I think Id take a chance on him!
March 4th, 2017 at 3:55 pm
NOSBOS … what are you going to do if Cook is available at #19 and the Bucs draft a different player?
This is a serious question.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:56 pm
Engrams official 40 is 4.42!!!!!!!!! That’s faster than all but 4 wrs
March 4th, 2017 at 3:57 pm
That’s a Bucs site Pop now if other teams are manning to get a feel for what the fans are thinking we as fans have no control over that. Its not like Licht or Koetter are making public statements about wanting Dalvin. GOAT I hadn’t planned on going but if someone was like lets do it I would.
March 4th, 2017 at 3:58 pm
NFL I’ll celebrate our new team member bro☺.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:00 pm
@Mike Evans GOAT yeah bro he was scooting. O.J. Howard ran faster that Mike Evans 40 time lol. Great for the kid, but our chances of getting O.J. just went waaaaaaaay down. Unless Corey Davis has a completely stellar, jaw dropping pro day, it could come down to him and McCLovin.
Maybe we go defense who knows. Mayock said he expects Budda Baker to run in the 4.3’s. Which would be insane considering how good his tape is.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:00 pm
U should listen to the Justin powalski podcast. They are renting out sports legends bar for the draft party. Unfortunately I live in Wi right now so I’m stuck going to a weak @$$ packers draft party lol
March 4th, 2017 at 4:01 pm
Pop I recall back during my highschool days the tactic I would use to get the girls. While all the homies were clamoring for they’re attention I would act like I didn’t even notice she existed. Over time more than a few would mosey around. Ishh worked everytime.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:01 pm
Oh, thought you were referring to the official team website.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:03 pm
That tactic is like completely opposite lol. The girls picked the guy. Dalvin Cook doesn’t pick his team so whoever shows the most interest will get him lol
March 4th, 2017 at 4:03 pm
Wasn’t addressed to me but would much rather attend a Joe’s IRA draft party. Love the commish for a long time enjoy brocatos and have been to legends but want to attend a draft party not a drunk fest. How about it Joe…you guys and IRA?
March 4th, 2017 at 4:03 pm
I might holla at a few Buc co-workers and see what they wanna do. Might be kinda hard for some considering the day. I put in for the day off last week. Gotta see this one, last year I worked but I gotta see Dalvin dawn that Bucs hat for the first time man.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:04 pm
This is a ridiculous TE class. I think this is going to be another home run draft for Licht
March 4th, 2017 at 4:04 pm
@Nosbos You’ve been trying to make connections between Buccaneers.com articles about Dalvin for weeks now.
I thought you were saying that meant Jason Licht was telling us who he was gonna draft?
March 4th, 2017 at 4:05 pm
The point I was making Pop was not allowing others to know my interest. Trust me if I wanted her bad enough I got’em bro.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:07 pm
That’s what you thought bro. I just find it kinda ironic the folks that run that site are placing so much energy in highlighting the young man. That’s not to say they any info from brass.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:08 pm
No chance in hell I am trading up for a RB in the first. if Davis or Williams (if it’s at all possible) fall past 12, I’m jumping on that all day. And I’m not saying this because I’m a longhorn fan, but D’onta Freeman is a really great RB. He’s got a good build and very good speed. Ten 100+ yard rushing games and no Heisman candidate? I was shocked (and pissed) about that. If we don’t trade up in the first and we get a WR I”m totally down to trade up for D’ontae in the second if they want a RB that can come in and start right away.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:09 pm
Exactly so if a team wants a player bad enough they will go get him not matter what your interest is just like you with the ladies. So why does showing interest matter?
March 4th, 2017 at 4:13 pm
Honestly guys, I’ve been sleeping on Evan Engram, but his tape is good. And with that Blazing speed he could be better than most of the Receivers in this class.

Hey Nos McCaffrey sure don’t look like a weakling to me.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:35 pm
McCaf is a stud. I could care less about his combine numbers (Even though he killed it) the kid balls out. He played half of the year hurt and still put up huge numbers. He is what we need. A guy who can do anything on offensse, kick returns, and punt returns. He is basically the same size as Cook except more athletic. Cook has more power and can be a 3 down back. We would be blessed to get either guy.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:42 pm
You lost me again Pop. I’m done wit it homie. If you wish to continue talk some dollas.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:46 pm
McCaffery won’t make it thru a season as a feature in the NFL. He’s too slight and lacks upper body strength. His body won’t up hold to the pounding. This ain’t the pac 11 and half. No disrespect intended but he’s white Reggie Bush mainly all zig zag. That ain’t about much in the league.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:47 pm
McCaffery will be a gadget back at best.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:48 pm
Hey guys don’t crucify me for this, but lets look at the facts. Julio Jones blew up the combine when he showed up at 6’3 230 and he ran a 4.39. Ok? Ok.
Evan Engram is nearly 6’4 235 and ran a 4.42…. That’s insanely impressive. You think we might Draft a guy with that kind of game changing athleticism in the 1st round?
March 4th, 2017 at 4:48 pm
I honestly think he’ll be converted to WR.
March 4th, 2017 at 4:50 pm
@NosBos Mccaffrey will be a matchup nightmare at the Next level. Both at Rb and WR. Whoever Jason Licht decides is best, I trust his judgement.
March 4th, 2017 at 5:00 pm
Terrelle Pryor at #2 and McCaffery in the slot. Sounds pretty freakin sweet to me.
March 4th, 2017 at 5:08 pm
Yes to Pryor. Hard no to McCaffery in the 1st. He’s a gadget player not a rb to build an offense around. We have a slot guy, and if you want a gadget slot/rb Curtis Samuel is a better option and ran a 4.31
March 4th, 2017 at 5:51 pm
https://twitter.com/NFLDraftInsider/status/837820293393575940?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
Dudes with this kind of Athleticism will always be welcome on the Bucs in my eyes.
March 4th, 2017 at 6:07 pm
@blake
U know who else is super athletic? Dri Archer. How did that work out for him. It doesn’t matter how athletic you are. His role is just too undefined. He can’t be a lead back. He may be a slot wr but Curtis Samuel is the better of the two if u want a gadget player
March 4th, 2017 at 6:17 pm
After his combine, Christian McCaffrey is being compared to Tiki Barber. Not Reggie Bush. Also Dri Archer is 5’8 173 and had no where near the amount of production or quality of tape that Caf showcased at stanford.
Call me crazy, but he reminds me of Curtis Martin. Same build, same kind of speed, vision, and elite level agility. Christian McCaffrey is going to be a force at the next level. I’m calling it now he’s gonna be a year 1 impact player for any team that drafts him.
http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/christian-mccaffrey?id=2557997
March 4th, 2017 at 6:21 pm
Blake
I respectfully disagree.
These TEs and WRs got me hyped tho. Lol
March 4th, 2017 at 6:35 pm
Agree to disagree on McCaffrey then bud.
But I’m 100 percent with you on these TE’s and Wide outs. O.J. Looked just as good as I knew he would, but Man, that showing by Evan Engram really blew me away.
And aside from glass Joe’s miraculous 40 time Mike Williams, Zay Jones, Chris Godwin, Curtis Samuel, Ardarious Stewart, stood out the most to me.
With our number one priority being #Weapons4Winston we are extremely blessed that this years draft is absolutely loaded with them.
March 4th, 2017 at 6:39 pm
I’m wit ya on that one Blake.
March 4th, 2017 at 7:17 pm
Evan Engram @19!!
Yep, I’m down with that.
March 4th, 2017 at 7:21 pm
A Big Slot Reciever – 6’3 | 234 running a damn 4.42
In what world – would that not be a match up nightmare.
#Weapons4Winston
March 4th, 2017 at 7:33 pm
I am definitely on the Chris Godwin train right now. The only thing is I don’t think he will last to our 3rd round pick. That means u have to take him in the 2nd or trade back up in the 3rd to get him. Really like OJ Howard and Engram. I say a trade back from 19 to early 2nd is the ideal situation. Take Engram early 2nd and Godwin late 2nd. Plus we have an extra 3rd or 4th from the trade back? I like it
March 4th, 2017 at 7:45 pm
If we get either Cook or McCaffrey i will be happy. Both are explosive all purpose backs. Then if we pick up a speed receiver in 2nd round (Westbrook) we will have a pretty potent offense. Not to mention whatever WR we pick up in free agency. Maybe a TE in the 3rd round and our offense will have weapons for Winston.
March 4th, 2017 at 7:58 pm
I would be fine with Godwin round 2. He was my favorite WR today
March 4th, 2017 at 8:18 pm
One guy I liked that did not have a good day is Isaiah Ford. For a guy who’s strength is stretching the field, two 4.6 forties isnt a good sign
March 4th, 2017 at 8:59 pm
Ill take Famous Jameis Winston over Mariota any day of the week. Mariota has been injured both seasons he’s played, and Mariota cannot throw a ball downfield. Jameis is my QB
March 4th, 2017 at 9:39 pm
I view Jameis as a Russell Wilson guy…at least I think that’s his goal.
March 4th, 2017 at 10:00 pm
More like Big Ben
March 5th, 2017 at 1:23 am
You guys that keep saying Mariota is a system QB are just morons and you definitely don’t watch football. EVERY QB is a system QB with that being said if you don’t think Mariota is accurate Downfield or can’t read an NFL defense , well then you should drop the sport and take up basketweaving cause you are Absolutely clueless. Probably all Noles fans!
March 5th, 2017 at 1:33 am
Your name says it all. Ur an idiot. Go to a titans site
March 5th, 2017 at 2:04 am
Not gonna say that Mariota is inaccurate or a system guy. But it’s clear to me from what I’ve seen from him that he is mostly a Dink and Dunk guy that is very dependent on a running game. And the only big games he has in his career are against dreadful defenses. He doesn’t even come close to being the leader of men that Jameis is.
Jameis has had big games against legit defenses, and has been more productive, and has more wins an a division that’s actually competent. So it’s blatantly obvious to me that we got the right guy.
DJax is virtually a guarantee at this point, and we’ll definitely have a shot at landing 2 more game changing weapons in rounds 1-3 of the draft. Right now, my dream picks to be #Weapons4Winston would be this.
Round 1 – O.J. Howard/ Christian McCaffrey/ Corey Davis/ Evan Engram/ Curtis Samuel if we trade back a few slots.
Round 2 – Zay Jones/ Chris Godwin/ Juju Schuster/ Ardarious Stewart
Round 3 – Sameje Perine/ Kareem Hunt/ Marlon Mack/ Bucky Hodges/ Adam Shaheen
I’d be happy with pretty much any combination of those guys. I’ll tell you what though, if we come away with O.J. Howard, Zay Jones, and Sameje Perine in the draft, and Desean Jackson in FA, our offense will be insanely potent next year.
You add an offense like that, and Calais Campbell/ Tony Jefferson to our defense that was already becoming scary good at the end of last year? And we’re going to the Superbowl. Call me crazy.
Crazy like a fox.
March 5th, 2017 at 3:41 am
@ Mike Evans goat,
Comparing Dri Archer to Christian McCaffrey is funny.
I don’t believe you’ve even seen Dri play. Maybe McCaffrey as well. Because it’s ridiculous.
To question the value of the bucs drafting him at their current spot is a legitimate question. Mainly because of value not talent. RB’ s values have been declining for years. The fact that 90% of the poster’s have commented in the past, that the team can easily find a quality back without wasting a high draft pick or spending to much in free agency. That’s certainly a complete 180 to the consensus today that values a RB with a Day 1 mid round pick. Is cook that great? Has he reversed the trend of declining value associated with the position. I’m wondering what happened to make so many people change their minds so quickly.
March 5th, 2017 at 4:05 am
Blake,
Winston’ s yards per attempt and completion, including adj yards were less than the dink and dunk guy. The dink and dunker also had a higher completion avg on passes over 20 yards. So what the ……. are you babbling on about. What you’re saying was true 2 seasons ago. The stats, and they have numbers for everything related to passing plays, prove that if you consider Mariota a dink and dunk guy, Winston must be dinker and dunker.
March 5th, 2017 at 4:41 am
Agreed 110% LUV, Engram will be a major beast for somebody….might as well be for us, right?
If we can sign Calais Campbell, Im ok with not drafting DE in the first. It can wait until next year. AS MUCH AS I STILL WANT BARNETT!!!! 🙁 🙁
TE, WR, RB in the 1st and 2nd as long as we address the D line and O line if FA and some later picks in the draft.
March 5th, 2017 at 5:22 am

@Duke Oh yeah do the stats you are referencing take into account yards gained after the catch? Or what about avereage yard’s traveled through the air?
Because I know that we had one of the worst yac offenses. And that Jameis had one of the longest average yards traveled through the air rates.
I also know that Jameis had 4k yards and 28 TD passes with no running game. And that Mariota had less yards and less TD’s with a top 5 rushing attack.
So I stand by my statement 100 percent.

Oh and noticed that you didn’t even touch the fact that he only has big games against S(p)it teams.

Also on the subject of Christian McCaffrey, out of all the other top Rb prospects I’d say he offers the most value. Because not only do you get a very talented running back, but you get a fully developed slot receiver ( who I believe also has enough juice to play outside receiver if need be ), and you get an electric returner all in the same package.
And @Luvmybucs I was watching more stuff on Engram last night and tbh I’m more interested in him at this point than almost every top receiver in the Draft.

There’s lot’s of RB’s and WR’s I like in the draft.
Thee end.

@LUV WOW! yeah, he’s gonna be a MAJOR threat. I’ll take him over OJ. So if we can, since the draft is so deep, trade back?
