Would it really surprise anyone that the most storied franchise in American sports history — sorry Celtics — called upon America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, to inspire its prospects?
It doesn’t surprise Joe.
Yes, the New York Yankees, whose spring training home is in Tampa, brought in Jameis to talk to their young prospects as the team reported for the 2017 season.
It was documented by NJ.com, a top New Jersey media outfit, and very cool quotes came from players talking about how Jameis was a commanding manly presence preaching success.
Here’s one:
“The biggest thing to me, he kept talking about how you talk to yourself more than you talk to others,” Sheffield said. “Throughout your life, you go through these phases where you’re talking to yourself and you doubt yourself. If you think about it, why can’t you make yourself say you’re going to do this?”
Joe read this and thought about how Jameis probably views this kind of visit, in part, as practice for motivating his Bucs when they report back to work April 17.
And some people don’t believe Jameis is America’s Quarterback. Pfffft.

Well color me a dope on that one then cause all I saw was a video pointing out his bad plays so my bad. I pigeon holed you with the dopes who still whine about Mariooota and only point out Fameis mistakes. The kid is resilient isn’t he? Plus he helps teammates come back from their mistakes. He’s turning this team into the Tampa Bay Winstoneer😂😂😂!!!
