“These Practices Have Taught Me To Go Way Less Than 100 Percent”

Mike Evans told beat writer Greg Auman that he plans to go hard in the Pro Bowl tonight for the extra $32,000 given to members of the winning team.
Evans was either joking or has since been enlightened.
Joe talked to Evans this week about how the Pro Bowl is notorious for three-quarter-speed play and effort.
JoeBucsFan.com: Do you even know how to go less than 100 percent?
Mike Evans: Yeah, I do. Absolutely. (laughs) These [Pro Bowl] practices have taught me to go way less than 100 percent. And, you know, guys don’t want to get hurt. It’s not like the NBA All-Star game, where you’re just dunking a basketball and shooting jumpers. This is guys getting tackled, biggest strongest dudes just running and tackling each there. I’ll get the sense of the speed when I get out there. I’m still going to try to make some plays, for sure.
Just don’t get hurt, Mike! We all remember what happened to Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert last year. He signifcantly trashed his ankle in the Pro Bowl and required surgery.
Regardless, Joe is so happy for Evans getting this reward of the Pro Bowl appearance. He earned it.
It’s been more than just jolly, pad-free practices and staying at a resort for him. Joe will tell more of that story tomorrow.

ME just scratching the surface. When this O is properly loaded with the type of tools that will make it more difficult to gamelan against ME gone have a field day in the league on Sunday’s. To quote Bart Scott”I can’t wait”.

Amen brother. We get your guy Dalvin and add explosion to the backfield. We have a back that would be a total nightmare for LB’s to cover on passing routes.
We sign Desean Jackson for a deep threat and bridge player.
We draft Curtis Samuel..might be tough..he’s still projected late 1st or 2nd but I saw he just moved up a spot on Walter Football’s list passing Corey Davis from 5th to 4th.
NOW we have “weapons for Jameis!” Imagine #3 under center.
He has a premier WR in ME13. He has a burner known for separation and 4.35 speed in DeSean Jackson on the other side. He has Curtis Samuel all over the field ala Percy Harvin with 4.4 speed and of course Dalvin’s 4.4 speed.
Oh and I haven’t even mentioned Brate finding seems up the middle! Hump goes to the bench for depth.
THAT’s a freaking explosive lineup!!!

I’m confused, I thought GMC taught the entire team not go 100% and losing was OK…. Those are the two core values that GMC has been preaching for seven years. Low effort, losing is ok and ice cream for all….
Fortunately the new bucs led by Jameis Kwon and more Evans want to win….

Tmax…why not save yourself the time. Simply create a post about your loathing of all things GMC that you place on EVERY thread whether it’s GMC related or not.
You type this post in a word doc you can save….and then you can simply cut and paste the same thing over…and over…and over…and over…and over…and over…and over…and over…and over…and over…and over…and over……

Brrrr that’s too freaking cold for me. I just looked outside an hour ago. It looked cold and wet. No thanks I’m staying indoors until I think it’s safe (warm) enough to go outside.

Great info, Joe. Over at the newspaper that uses the bay area in its name, one of the………(long pause)……….beat writers is informing us that the Bucs beat the SB Falcons on opening day. I’m sure glad I read that article. Well, half way through anyway, til I couldn’t stand it no more. I was looking for analysis and well….never mind.

Only a matter of time until this game is cancelled altogether. No one cares and one star receiver, RB or QB blows a knee and it’s a damn shame. Haven’t watched one of these since I was 8 yrs old and no plans to do so anytime soon.

I agree with tmaxcon. BKNY… funny guy. Ice cream for all is the healthy way to eat. No really, food science lied and cream and cheese are now considered good for heart and overall health.
