It’s about kickoff time as the Bucs gun for their fourth consecutive home victory against the “sabbatical-thinking” Panthers.
Meaningless game? It shouldn’t be for the guys on the field.
The Bucs are in no position to mail in a game in front of the home faithful. That would be a bad look for a first-year head coach and a team on the rise.

Dudes Jameis has to get rid of these high balls, he is winding up and over striding like a pitcher uses his body to push his leg off the rubber to get more velocity on a baseball.
That throwing motion needs to be shortened up and his follow through has to be coming down after release instead of up at his shoulders.
It’s a mechanical issue, the Buc coaching staff must help him become accurate by changing his motion to shorten up the throws.

@ndog- my football IQ is quite high. Not every turnover is the QB’s fault but all 24 still get credit to him. You could probably deduct a good 8-10 from his total as a result of poor blocking or bouncing off a receivers hands. But the accuracy and decision making has gotta improve in year 3 or this is just who he is. The accuracy and constant turnovers are gonna keep him from being more than just good.

But there should be nothing but shame at One Buc until next season when a chance to redeem themselves returns with the 17 season.
Right we should spend the offseason with a feeling of nausea. This finish was just proof of how far we have to go. Carolina has absolutely SUCKED TODAY! Lurker- at the start of the year I said 7 wins maybe 8 if there was some areas that improved (Jameis turnovers and the d) so they are right where I hoped. But I also believe in adjusting expectations. After 8-5 then choking away games that hurts. So while the team has made progress as a whole I feel like Jameis and the o line regressed. If you start off 8-0 but finish 8-8 do you think it’s still progress?

I pronounce this a successful season. Not only the obvious development of #3 and ME and the growth of our D…but we won 3 or 4 games this year that we would have lost in any of the past ten years.
Of course there’s still that Raiders loss to haunt us but at least we didn’t totally refuse the gift from Carolina. Let em have the higher draft pick.
At least we know that we are capable of winning those games where we seemed snakebit. There is no way we should have won today.
