“Hump” Day Here
December 15th, 2016The Bucs’ odds of winning Sunday night just improved.
Tampa Bay should not be forced to overuse wide receivers Russell Shepard, Freddie Martino, Josh Huff or The Stampeder, Donteea Dye.
The Bucs announced today that Adam “Hump” Humphries is out of the NFL concussion protocol and is eligible to play Sunday. Humphries (42 catches, 467 yards) was drilled in the head early in the Bucs-Chargers game Dec. 4 and left the game. He sat out Sunday against the Saints.
Humphries’ ability to get open, especially in the slot against a keep-it-in-front-of-you defense like the Cowboys’, should be an asset for America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, as well as a security blanket.
Jameis has A-list chemistry with Humphries. It’s simply not there with the others mentioned previously.
Rudy!

I know it’s likely not going to matter much, but would a post season run put VJax in consideration for a return or is he legitimately on ice for the year, regardless of how deep our season goes?

Great news! The more weapons, the better!

Speaking for Pablo
“Pablo loves him sum Hump…..Pablo does wonder why all the white-boy slot receivers use number {once) eleven for those challenged by America’s soon to be numero uno language. (Pablo is being sarcastic)”

@Patrick in VA,
VJ can’t come back. You only get one IR designated for return in a season and we already used that on Charles Sims.

I must have missed it, but what about Demar Dotson? We must have that dude! Help me out someone please.

@Hawaiian – ahhhhhh! forgot about that one. Good call

Well damn the Pats claimed Floyd. I think it would have been good for us. Just getting the compensatory pick is worth the salary and roster spot
December 15th, 2016 at 4:20 pm
nice, he is important. I would have like to have gotten floyd too, lets pray there are no other wr injuries the rest of the way or we are screwed!

I hope Jameis can get a good rapport with Sims out of the backfield. That is a weapon we know is there but not on tape allot for Dallas to scheme against.

No way are they going to “stop” the Cowboys offense but with some disruption up front hopefully they can put Dak in some uncomfortable positions to throw early or hesitate–and slow it a bit. But they will get some big plays, so the Bucs O needs to be able to put up at least 24 points. Having Hump back will help!

@74…im with you….update on Dotson please….but hump is great news!!!!…GO BUCS!!!
December 15th, 2016 at 4:52 pm
brate and humphries will be busy exploiting the “Lovie Holes” they saw so many other players take advantage of last year

Fred “No way they are going to “stop” the Cowboys offense…”.
They stopped Wilson with no touchdowns, they stopped Brees with no touchdowns. Dak hasn’t been that special the last couple of games. Right now I think they can stop anybody. They just need to believe that too. They have already proven it.

BucThis, I hope you’re right that they can. Good points.

Good to hear

Only bucs fans would hope and wish for the return of a garbage right tackle. One of worst if not the worst starting RT in league. When Dotson is not getting blown up he’s committing penalties. Gos blows too but let’s not act like dotson is good or an upgrade.

Good enough to get us to 8-5. Why would a fan so negatively trash players on their own team that way? Especially when we are better than we have been over the last few years and in a playoff race? That post is less than helpful and illustrates a garbage mentality. (rhetorical question, no response required or desired)
