And Here’s The Playoff Picture
November 27th, 2016The Bucs are 6-5 entering December — and there’s only one winning team left on the schedule.
In the NFC South, Atlanta absolutely punished Arizona this afternoon to up their record to 7-4, a game ahead of the Bucs. The Saints clobbered the Rams and are in third place at 5-6. Carolina (4-7) owns the cellar after choking late against Oakland.
Here are the Wild Card standings:
Giants (8-3)
Redskins (6-4-1)
Buccaneers (6-5) (5-3 conference record)
Vikings (6-5) (4-5 conference record)
Eagles (5-5) at Green Bay (4-6) on Monday night.
Saints (5-6)
The Bucs are in strong shape, obviously, but there’s a lot of work to be done.
Joe still maintains the Bucs’ best path to the playoffs lies in winning the division.

Atlanta still has to play oakland and KC. But we need to keep it going. When was the last time we won 3 straight?????
HFS… How bout them buccaneers!!!!!!!!!
November 27th, 2016 at 7:12 pm
Have to win the division. Period.
Joe, do you know what the Falcons’ conference record is? I could see a scenario where we end the season w/ the same record as them.

I hate to an eeyore here but those two losses against the Rams and Raiders may keep us out.
Both were right there for the taking and we gave them away.

Falcons already beat the Raiders, it let’s go Raiders over the Panthers
November 27th, 2016 at 7:20 pm
The Falcons are 5 – 3 in the NFC the same as the Bucs.

Guys if we make the playoff that first game we have to travel with the team we have to do it. We have to support them there is no more BS
We actually have a team to root for…….
Let’s go my BUCS.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:21 pm
Raiders just tied it up. 32-32.
I still think the Panthers are out of gas, at least for this year.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:24 pm
take it game by game and let the chips fall.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:25 pm
Joe what do you think is Dallas’ thoughts about THIS Tampa team coming into their house now?we don’t have a single standout on our Defense…BECAUSE THE WHOLE DEFENSE STANDS OUT!!!
November 27th, 2016 at 7:26 pm
OMG OMG OMG, is this really happening? 3 wins in a row, LEGIT playoff talk. This is great.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:27 pm
Ok I’m impressed. After a horrific showing early in the season I pretty much gave up hope of playoffs. My thinking was no way could this defense and sloppy talentless offense could make a run. It’s just too soon to expect them to be a contender.
They clearly and emphatically made me eat crow. What a game, what a win. We dominated all 3 phases of the game. Our special teams was lights out. Our defense gave up 3 POINTS! Insanity. Offense set the tone with 2 Great TD drives to open the game. It was all we needed.
I’m not getting my hopes up for a playoff berth. Too many moving parts and the bucs do not have control of their own destiny. But I will enjoy the heck out of every bucs game, and with a performance like today, I will expect our bucs to win every game.
Cowboys have only beat 1 team with a winning record. They are vulnerable. Defense isn’t great, and offense runs through 2 rookies. They keep proving me wrong, but I hope my bucs can prove me right.

Oh and can get off GmC’s and LVD’s nuts for a while. Both studs came up huge plays today.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:35 pm
This team… right now…can possibly beat anyone.
Family.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:37 pm
Go to sleep kitties in blue…..its over.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:37 pm
Can’t believe our last 2 wins. Jameis finally won 3 in a row after 27 games. The defense has been the difference the last couple weeks but at least JW3 isn’t turning the ball over like he was at the beginning of the year. All we need is 3 more wins to have a winning season for the first time in 6 years. Hope the Bucs can keep it up and finish the season strong. Go BUCS!

I was at the 2003 playoff game against the niners. Our defense that day was the most dominant i had ever seen……until today. Our D was just amazing. What a game. Go Bucs!!!
November 27th, 2016 at 7:44 pm
Unfortunately Atlanta has only to play the Chiefs next week, and the rest of the season is teams with loosing records.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:45 pm
Holy Crap! Two of the top teams, two weeks in a row. Wow! These two games are franchise changing. We can play with anyone. Now they just need to keep it going. A few weeks ago, I didn’t think there was anyway we would win either one of these two games. Don’t look now boys but we finally have a decent team.
November 27th, 2016 at 7:52 pm
off topic: Nfl redzone should also show all sacks of the day after TD’s of the day!
November 27th, 2016 at 7:59 pm
Still think the Rams and Raiders games will haunt this team all off season
November 27th, 2016 at 8:01 pm
I still say 8-8 but BOY, WOULD I LOVE TO BE WRONG!!! This one was YYYYYYUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!
November 27th, 2016 at 8:18 pm
Week 13 matchups could favor the Bucs.
Bucs vs Chargers, while our competitors for the division and wild card have tough matchups.
Cowboys vs Vikings (hopefully cowboys win)
Lions vs Saints (Hopeful of Lions win)
Chiefs vs Falcons (chiefs)
Redskins vs Cardinals (Cardinals)
Eagles vs Bengals (Bengals)
November 27th, 2016 at 8:20 pm
Bucnut and BigHog are the milk cartons now!
November 28th, 2016 at 1:25 pm
The Defence reminds me of swarm of bees going for the kill. That’s going to take the Bucs to the play offs. As long as they stay HEALTHY. #3 has to calm down when the Bucs have a good leed. He had that problem at FSU and has in Tampa. Right now there playing textbook football. KEEP IT GOING, WRAP IT UP.
