Noah Spence Blowing Up
November 27th, 2016If Noah Spence isn’t careful, dude just might have 10 sacks this season.
Today, Spence and the Bucs defense were on fire and a big part of that was the pass rush of the Bucs — Joe has typed that about as often as he has seen Sasquatch.
And a big reason why Russell Wilson was hassled was thanks to the pass rush skills of Noah Spence. The rookie is really coming on and sure looks to be a helluva second round pick by Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht.
Spence now leads all rookie defensive ends with 5.5 sacks after recording 1.5 today. Yannick Ngakoue of the Jags has five and Joey Bosa of the Chargers has 4.5.
So with five games left, can Spence rack up 4.5 sacks? The way he is playing today, it’s not out of the question.
Could a rookie actually break the notorious glass ceiling for the Bucs and rack up 10 sacks in a season? Joe has been so beaten down over the years, Joe will have to see it to believe it.
Joe asked Spence after the game about maybe getting 10 sacks. He just smiled and seemed embarrassed but Mr. Beasting Robert Ayers and Will Gholston had Spence’s back and both said, “Watch out. Spence just may break that glass ceiling the way he is, well, as Ayers would say, “beasting.”

Heard Mccoy left stadium wearing a boot, any truth Joe?

Ayers sucked in the 1st half

where are all you f@gs calling out 93 tonight? Pu$$ies!

I was one of the ones beating the drums for Spence. I would of moved up to mid 20s in the first round. He was a steal in the 2nd. Only the Molly kept him from being top ten. He’s done with that.

Good job, Mr. Noah Spence! You just can’t let Joey Bosa beat you! It just so happens that it is up to our offensive line next week to keep Bosa’s sack totals down next week.

Good to see McCoy stepping up and beating the double team. Shuts up the haters for awhile

“Hey i got a sack too! Why no love?” Ryan russell
“Because jason licht told us to keep pumping mike evans and noah spence until the readers eyes bleed! Now shut the hell up!” Joebucsfan
“Geee Wizzz, Kobe was right” Ryan Russell

McCoy had that sack tonight. I was yelling like a little girl. Man it felt good to see the defense ball llike 1999. They even played old.Mystkal track in the stadium after his sack. Truly some 90’s feels.

Yannick is the other player that I thought would blow up. Nice to see Spence getting after the QB. He was hard to stop.

Newsflash…..that’s what he’s is expected to do…he gets paid WELL(100 Million $) to make plays…but so did the entire defense today. By the way…we had a none household name guy ( Ryan Russell ) that had more sacks than #93 today. The entire D balled out today…it would have been pathetic for him not to make a play today. But anyway not to take away from this geat team win.
GO BUCS!!!!!

1. Kobe go away like you promised….”Jameis fan”.
2. I couldn’t stop talking about Spence after he was selected by the Bucs.
3. I think I might have predicted around 6 sacks for Spence in year 1, so wow he was on a tear today. Like the get off with a nice burst to the QB. Still learning and getting a feel for the game.
4. Kobe you can BE a “Jameis fan” all you like. Just not here and on JBF. We’re BUCS fans and you’ve been talking some sheet about certain areas of OUR team.
5. Noah Spence year’s 2 and 3 is going to be madness and I mean UTTER madness!

Newsflash to you…….1.5 sacks is what McCoy had, which is exactly .5 sacks more than what Ryan Russell had. Nice job by you. It’s so funny to watch the haters squirm and make stuff up. It’s like you’d rather be right than have him play well and be wrong. That’s what I call “Mrs. Hawaiian Buc territory”. Just shut up and learn a little about football, then give the man his props, like EVERYONE else that knows anything about football. If you open your eyes, you would see how McCoy was eating them alive over and over and over all game long. But you just keep on checking the stat column, but make sure you get it right next time.

While I completely agree with you, let’s pump the brakes just a little bit. We have been snake bit with injuries over the years, so at least add “barring injury” before that.

Noah Spence D.R.O.Y

@Kobe Faker go away like you said you would! Your self promotion and negativity are a bummer on a great day! Man up and stay true your words!
November 27th, 2016 at 10:43 pm
HB…I thought of “barring injury”, but naaaaah.
Okay…barring major injury. Ya got me, but Bennett should STILL be here and I want to forget about Bennett. Spence looks to be my best shot at doing that since Bennett.

@87,
Yeah, Spence looks great. I think everyone is starting to understand what happens when we have good pass rushers all over the D-Line. The offense can’t focus on one guy. Spence is starting to get constant pressure, and looked to me to be playing very well against the run.
November 27th, 2016 at 11:22 pm
I mostly saw McCoy getting double teamed today, which of course freed up other guys to make plays. Any news on the report of McCoy seen wearing a boot leaving the stadium???
November 27th, 2016 at 11:28 pm
This is the guy that has the chance to be exactly what we have been begging for, for several years. Love his burst off the edge. You know he can only get better as he plays more and more. Defensive line is set: McCoy, Ayers, McDonald, Gholston, A Spence and now N Spence!
November 27th, 2016 at 11:33 pm
Spence has done a great job so far as a rookie. If he gets to 10 sacks then awesome! But if he gets another sack or two and more hurries, our D-line is in much better shape than a year ago pass rush-wise. Keep it up Noah! That said, another stud DT or DE would be nice. Not to mention at least one stud Safety, (Conte’s and McDougald’s play the last couple weeks notwithstanding).

HB if you check your facts you will realize that mr RS had 2 touchdown which means 0.5 more then GMC so you and mr Turd better STFU am deathly try to learn a thing or two about football before insulting other ppl.
F*cking losers.
November 27th, 2016 at 11:56 pm
Kobe you have been wrong about everything.
Your opinion is meaningless.
You call Doug fat and spence nowhere when they ball out. Just STFU and go away your are wrong on everything every week.
November 28th, 2016 at 12:04 am
@Pit,
Check the stat sheet one more time, lol. Don’t worry, you don’t need to apologize and say how stupid you are.

November 28th, 2016 at 7:48 am
McCoy made most of his plays today from a 5-tech, just like I’ve been begging them to do with him since the offseason!
See….I can beat my chest too.
November 28th, 2016 at 7:49 am
Great W…yesterday. I love all the experts on here…makes me giggle frequently especially when you all argue about who predicted what and when….
Great foresight on #57.
November 28th, 2016 at 9:38 am
LVD: the forgotten LBer who ALSO had one he33uva game yesterday. Now, there was some hot flatulent air written on here about trading him. If Mike Smith is THAT stupid, I’ll finish the lobotomy myself! Yeow, 6 sacks?????????/!!!!! 4 in the first half??? Against Russell Wilson and one of the very best teams in the NFL??? GO MIGHTY BUCS!!!!
