Report: Evan Smith Out At Least One Game

Injury update.

Good thing the offensive line of the Bucs is deep.

Per well-plugged in and all around good guy Alex Marvez of The Sporting News, Bucs backup center Evan Smith, who left today’s game in the first half with a knee injury, will at least miss one more game.

A source told Sporting News that Bucs center Evan Smith has suffered a sprained medical collateral ligament that may sideline him for at least one game. More information on the severity of the knee injury will be known Monday morning following an MRI exam.

Of course, we won’t know the severity of the injury until at least Monday and the team may not even comment until Wednesday, if at all.

That makes two Bucs centers with knee injuries. Could the debut of Ali Marpet at center be near?

   Despite the dominating win, the Bucs O-line looked terrible. Winston was running for his life, there was no abiloity to run the ball, and there were penalties. Bucs were lucky the Bears played as bad as the Bucs did in the last two games.

   This game could have easily been ugly the other way.

   Wow did Cutler look bad.

   O-line seems to be regressing, especially our tackles. You saw the Cowboys move Laell Collins move inside and Laramy Tunsill for the Fins move inside, if we can get a solid left tackle, why not move Donovan inside
