Koetter Cautious On Martin
November 12th, 2016As Bucs coach Dirk Koetter said Friday, whether Doug Martin returns to play Sunday is a game-time decision.
Speaking in generalities early this week, Dirk Koetter stated if a player is able to dress for the game and is active, he theoretically could play every snap and must be able to do so in case there are injuries.
This week while on SiriusXM NFL Radio, the subject of Martin potentially playing tomorrow came up and Koetter sure seemed cautious.
“Doug Martin will go right down to the wire and he does have a chance that he might get on the field Sunday,” Koetter said.
Call Joe a pessimist, but damn, there seems to be a whole lot of hope and prayer in Koetter’s statement.
Friday was Martin’s first time since returning to practice that he could fully participate with his rehabbed hamstring.

At his present condition, fatboy dougie is not as good as barber or james. Wasnt impressed with just got paid chipmonk cheeks when he was healthy beginning of the year.
What we need is getting pass catching sims and shepard back healthy to spread the field

@Kobe you sound like a 12 year old boy. You weren’t impressed by Martin after the first game of the year, which we won coincidentally, so now you believe he’s below James and Barber? I’m hoping that what you were trying to say is that he may not be healthy enough to return so he should sit this one out. Otherwise I gotta say you are very confused.
