More walking/not walking wounded today at One Buc Palace.

Today, Dirk Koetter announced that running back Antone Smith and defensive end Howard Jones had serious injuries.

The Bucs have now burned through running backs Doug Martin, Charles Sims, Mike James (injured late in preseason), Jacquizz Rodgers and Smith, who joined the team in October.

James was re-signed last week and he is now atop the depth chart with undrafted rookie Peyton Barber, who was ineffective last night.

What an unbelievable mess for a team built to run the ball and use play-action.

Please don’t ask Joe about the status of Martin’s hamstring, which was injured in Week 2 and suffered a setback in October. It’s a One Buc Palace mystery.
