The offense has shown improvement, Winston and Evans are the best players at their positions the Bucs have ever seen in their 40 years of pitiful existence.
The defense on the other hand is a different story. LVD had a great game, Keon played big, Spence has 3 sacks so far and even McDougle is improving each week.
But McCoy, Conte and Darryl Smith are liabilities at this point especially Conte!

Complete opposite DB. Offense has regressed. Injuries play a huge part of course.
Defense has improved but can’t be made to stay on the field the vast majority of 5 quarters.

I’m too demoralized to vote confident this week. The thoughts of a Thursday night game against Atlanta doesn’t help either.
November 1st, 2016 at 12:22 pm
Around 74% voting between confident and totally confident right now. Makes sense. Just like me, most fans this year realize it isn’t the staff like it was with Lovie. This year it’s the players. All the way. From a mentally unstable kicker to a reality-hitting-him-in-the-face-and-I-don’t-know-what-the-hell-to-do Winston, to a local community center wide receiver corps, to a fragile as a Faberge egg starting running back, to a weakened defensive line with little depth, to a total and complete lack of any semblance of a distance fourth cousin to a pass rush, to some small-ball cornerbacks with heart and athleticism but severely challenged in height, to a bunch of keystone cop safeties bumbling and stumbling in the defensive backfield, this team is the very definition of talent-challenged.

I’d have a lot more confidence in him if he weren’t such a bad coach. Bad decisions regarding the game clock, terrible play-calling, playing turtle way too often. He’s not the guy.
As for Mike Smith, I hated him in Atlanta. His defenses in Atlanta were always terrible. As a defensive coach, you know he had a ton of input defensively…but to no avail….yet he was the overwhelming choice to lead our D.

Maybe, the poll should be how much confidence does Koetter have in Jameis
November 1st, 2016 at 12:45 pm
Still Confident.
He’s a rookie coach. I didn’t expect us to be STRONG this year (even though I’d hoped we would be).
November 1st, 2016 at 1:05 pm
@Brandon…I completely agree….
cant see how people are confident in a coach that goes turtle, displays bad play calling, misuses personnel, mismanages the clock and abandons the run more often than not….NO CONFIDENCE!!!!…GO BUCS!!!!
November 1st, 2016 at 1:07 pm
@Celly….he’s a rookie hc but not a rookie coach….the mistakes he’s making are coaching 101 mistakes….you say you didn’t except us to be strong this year…was that also the case last year?…..is a 6-10 under dirk better than 6-10 from last year?….GO BUCS!!!!
November 1st, 2016 at 1:25 pm
Bad clock management and horrible play calling/going turtle against the raiders late in the 4th quarter has turned me from confident to little confidence.
November 1st, 2016 at 1:31 pm
The defense is worse than last year.
Mr. Jameis has regressed.
Coack Koetter has bad clock management late in games.
Coash Koetter has no confidence in Jameis
The coach has no confidence in the kicker.
The Bucs are winless at home.
The Bucs are on pace for another 6-10 season.
Pablo is Totally Confident!!!! Arriba!

Joes, you guys should start a Jameis Winston confidence poll.
November 1st, 2016 at 1:59 pm
813bucboi…you expect 10 wins and playoffs or anything else is failure.
Did you expect that from Lovie too?
November 1st, 2016 at 2:32 pm
@87….if he were the coach this year I would’ve….no doubt….with the additions licht made in FA and the draft picks we got I would’ve expected 10wins and playoffs….your point is?…..GO BUCS!!!!
November 1st, 2016 at 2:36 pm
I predicted 7-9 this year. I still on par.
November 1st, 2016 at 2:41 pm
How bout a confidence in the QB poll?
November 1st, 2016 at 2:59 pm
It’s the unaccountable GM that needs a confidence poll. But it may be bad for business so the arbitrary rule is no in-season GM confidence polls. Convenient. I believe they call that a free pass.
Think I’ll kick back and have another JBF Jason Licht Kool Ale or two and keep repeating “Jason Licht is NOT the problem” until I start to believe it or pass out.
November 1st, 2016 at 3:04 pm
Little confidence. What actual coach doesn’t go for more points when they are only up by 7 and there are 2 minutes on the clock. One of the worst decisions in recent Bucs history
November 1st, 2016 at 3:23 pm
Dal
Im guessing forrest gump is going to be fired and koetter gets 1 year trial from the new experienced gm. Gm is going to require for koetter to bring some longtime experienced coaches to help in the gameplanning and playcalling. These 2 college coaches are good position coaches but you need guys who coached past elite qbs in the nfl not acc qbs. Lol
Glazers dont want to pay for another coaches salary and gump makes peanuts.
With the 2016 failure. The glazers wont look bad at all replacing the incompetent kicker picker backstabber
November 1st, 2016 at 3:42 pm
Lost me in final two minutes of 2nd quarter. Three timeouts 1:43 and he runs out clock. Can’t waste possessions on NFL, esp if your defense is struggling.
November 1st, 2016 at 3:45 pm
I agree. If the Bucs aren’t going to try to move the ball with purpose in that situation they may as well take a knee.
November 1st, 2016 at 4:42 pm
Drops from 90% confident or greater to 75% because of one game. What a bunch of hosers…
November 1st, 2016 at 4:55 pm
813…I see you need me to revise my question. You’re slicker than Hillary.
Did you expect 10 wins and playoffs during Lovie’s first season and second season as you’ve expected from Koetter during his first?
November 1st, 2016 at 5:34 pm
I agree with the sentiments that the Bucs should have tried to get some points with a 2 minute drill……especially since Oakland was getting the ball to start the 2nd half. I am not going to be upset about this team anymore. They are who they are and that is cellar dwellers.
November 1st, 2016 at 6:36 pm
This Atlanta game should be a good one. Who knows what to expect from the Bucs? A big mystery! That’s as positive as I can get stiffling doubt.
