Bucs Dissed With No. 25 Power Ranking
October 11th, 2016A power broker in the NFL Media world thinks the Bucs are garbage.
Shame, shame, shame on you Pat Kirwan.
Kirwan, a former Bucs scout and Jets linebackers coach and personnel chief, co-hosts the fabulous Movin’ The Chains on SiriusXM NFL Radio on weekday afternoons. He’s also a busy guy with CBS Sports and his own RealFootballNetwork.com when he’s not writing books on Xs and Os.
Heck, Kirwan is a friend of Bucs defensive coordinator Mike Smith and he has his share of strong relationships inside One Buc Palace. Still, after watching the Bucs victory against the Panthers last night, Kirwan sees the proud owners of second place in the NFC South as the eighth-worst team in the NFL. He ranked Tampa Bay 25th in his power rankings this afternoon.
25. Tampa Bay (25)
A tough division win on the road is a good building block for this team, and I finally saw in Jameis Winston, the guy we’ve been waiting for all year.
In a stunning display of Bucs bashing, Kirwan had the Saints ranked 25th last week, but he bumped them to 21st this week, despite their 1-3 record and bye weekend off.
And if that’s not enough to run head first into a wall, Kirwan ranks the Panthers at No. 14, up one notch from last week.
Joe has a lot of respect for Kirwan, but it eroded significantly this afternoon.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:23 pm
Wooooow! There is zero logical examples actions for his ranking. It appears that a bit of a grudge is being held by Kirwan. I don’t care what he thinks. We aren’t a great team yet, but we won and we aren’t 1-4.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:23 pm
*logical explanations
October 11th, 2016 at 4:25 pm
If it’s any consolation ESPN has the Bucs ranked 22nd and the Panthers ranked 23rd. Still, that’s stunning by Kirwan. Even with Cam Newton the Panthers are quite a ways off from the team they had last season.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:26 pm
It’s my fault! My terrible clock management and judgment assure the Bucs will be bottom feeders for as long as I’m here!
~Coach K
October 11th, 2016 at 4:28 pm
Opinions are like a$$holes.
Here’s to seeing a more rejuvenated, healthier Bucs team in a couple weeks.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:28 pm
Ross Tucker has us at 27. Hard to argue with. Lose to the Rams at home and squeak out a win against CAR despite a backup QB and a +4 turnover edge. Today, Kirwan said, “If you give 4 turnovers to Seattle, you lose by 31 points.”
October 11th, 2016 at 4:31 pm
Not sure what you expect. They’re not a good team with a bunch of injuries. A win last nightime is a classic case of putting lipstick on a pig. Look at last night’s game objectively. It was a horrid game, mistakes galore, poor football. Like Jon Gruene said: “Neither team deserves to win this game.”
October 11th, 2016 at 4:32 pm
Looking forward to the November 3 rematch with the Dirty Birds on Thursday Night Football @ Raymond James.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:33 pm
Beating the Panthers was very nice but a good team has that game over in the third quarter. The Bucs afforded themselves a chance after chance to put that game Out Of Reach. All they did with their chances was squander them with a pile of mistakes. The way I saw that game is that we snatched Victory from the jaws of defeat. I can’t agree with the reading that we are not a good team. If the Panthers had finished a good team last night they would have gotten blown out. With their for Turnover they just happened to suck less than us.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:36 pm
Hey what’s up with that delay-of-game penalty that cost us a good chance? That play happened late in the second quarter and we had all of our timeouts the remaining. What the hell is our coach doing? Is he not even watching the play develop in front of him? He has to have his quarterbacks back there. Dirt Koetter is useless on the sidelines
October 11th, 2016 at 4:36 pm
The Bucs were not dissed. Hell, wake up guys. We are 2-3 right? I’m not a mathematician. But 2-3 is less than 500 ball. Which means although a slight hole has been punched in the darkness, We still suck…according to our record. You are what your record says you are. Now if we were 3-3 or 3-2 and ranked 25th I’d get my pities in a bunch. But we do have a losing record as of now.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:38 pm
Easy to question the rankings relative to other teams in our division. But garbage? Dang, he must have watched the games. I didn’t think those national pundits did that.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:41 pm
Yeah Mike is right. If you are getting bent about our ranking then I suggest you just go and look at are home performances. In short, bad teams get spanked at home. Good teams win at home.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:43 pm
He might have the bucs in the right spot, but are severely overrating the other teams. Bucs are not a good team, and do not deserve much praise.
I’m still waiting for the Winston that played week 1 in ATL to surface again. I really miss him.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:43 pm
Anyways you can compare our ranking to some things that you think we’re better than. The but the only teams we compare to are bottom teams in the NFL. Meaning it’s an irrelevant argument that nobody cares about
October 11th, 2016 at 4:46 pm
Spoke too soon, jets claim WR Jeremy Butler..
October 11th, 2016 at 4:47 pm
Those “power rankings” are inconsequential and really serve no purpose. The Bucs are second in the division and moving in the right direction. That is the only ranking I care about. It’s so important to beat Atlanta at home!
October 11th, 2016 at 4:51 pm
Come on man. You can’t gloat about us being second in the division when our record is 2 + 3. Not to mention that we are nowhere close to competing with the good teams in this league like Arizona and Denver.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:52 pm
His rankings have absolutely no credibility when he has a team losing to a team he ranks 25th and then moves them up a notch……zero credibility…
October 11th, 2016 at 4:54 pm
Not worried what “rank” we are!!! this is not college where so called experts vote on your relevancy!!!!!
The Bucs played thru the gauntlet of a schedule and now to a much deserved bye week!!! Then there is work to be done!!! There is a team to build and a culture that is changing!!!!!!!
I hope they print out the so called power rankings and hang it in the locker room!!!!!
Go Bucs!!!!!
October 11th, 2016 at 4:56 pm
I don’t know why it’s so hard to Fathom the Panthers being ahead of the Buccaneers. They are defending NFC champions and winners of our division the past couple years. Meanwhile the Bucs final standings over the past decade speak for themselves. I can easily see why anybody could watch that game and not say that the Bucs are suddenly a good team because of it
October 11th, 2016 at 4:56 pm
Lol, wr Butler is going to do great for the jets- our missing playmaker
“I cant wait to play against the 2 headless chickens linebacker miss tackling machines” Carlos Hyde
October 11th, 2016 at 4:58 pm
There’s one way to fix it, go out and fix it with wins, simple as that. Of course if we do start winning, they will say we had a soft second half schedule.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:58 pm
What do you expect? The offense is not decimated. But yet can only put up a TD in each of the last 2 games. The defense gave the offense a lot of chances to make it show it is good. He can see the offense is bad. They were lucky to win. Simple as that.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:58 pm
The team that wins the Super Bowl ends up ranked #1. Then there’s everyone else. Right now, we’re in the ‘Everyone Else’ category. Puts us tied with 31 other teams. There, everyone feel better? You are who your record says you are … 2-3 at this moment and 3-3 in 2 weeks if the Bucs get healthy and work their tails off between now & then.
October 11th, 2016 at 4:59 pm
Joe let’s not be “local” here. The Bucs have not looked the part and played to part to deserve a climb in power rankings. Let’s just be honest here.
October 11th, 2016 at 5:05 pm
On any given Sunday any of the bottom five teams can beat a team in the top five. Its all about personnel, preparation, game plan, execution etc. On any given Sunday a team can pull it together for an upset victory. Looking forward to getting our starters back and seeing what this team is truly capable of.
October 11th, 2016 at 5:09 pm
every one on different teams are bashing Winston, ” He’s horrible, he’s just like Josh Freeman. ” guess they just don’t understand he’s 22. But I rather have Winston than half the QBs starting in the league right now. Maybe more than half.
October 11th, 2016 at 5:13 pm
Think we are rated about right. We are playing bad and deserve a bad rating.
If JW can settle down and our receivers (besides ME) learn how to catch, and our coverage improves then maybe
October 11th, 2016 at 5:18 pm
Hardly a surprise IMO. Why would anyone give us any respect, especially if you watched us play. Winning is the only cure. We have a foundation to build upon.
Can we please start winning home games?! PLEASE!!!
October 11th, 2016 at 5:19 pm
Rankings should be the last thing from our minds. How in the hell are we going to be Blain Gaverett and Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers? You can’t tell me that Derek Anderson didnt scared the hell out of you before last night’s game. And don’t forget this is a team that had no turnovers in every game except one before last night. We just got The Perfect Storm of Lucky bounces last night. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred that ball that Hargreaves deflected go straight to the ground. We got a lucky bone head play out of Ted Ginn jr. We were the beneficiary of a brutal third-and-one call by Ron Rivera.
October 11th, 2016 at 5:20 pm
We also got gifted to game-changing penalties and I still don’t know how the Bucs recovered Winston’s fumble. This game did not prove much in terms of the Bucs becoming a sudden contenders.
October 11th, 2016 at 5:24 pm
Old time buc, you are right our receivers behind Evans have not made hardly any game-changing plays for us. The problem I see is that the talent is not there. I don’t think that they planned on our other receivers ever being huge weapons for us. Austin seferian-jenkins and Simms were drafted to bring weapons in the passing game and they are both gone. It seems that we have a very limited ability to make huge plays on offense which is going to hurt us very bad this year
October 11th, 2016 at 5:31 pm
Who cares about rankings….
Today I can say “It’s a good day to be a Tampabaybucfan”
October 11th, 2016 at 5:34 pm
THIS TEAM HAS PROVEN NOTHING YET!!!!
They could easily get crusher by Kap and the 9’ers in two weeks and we’ll be sitting here talking draft in October again.
How quickly some of you forget what team this is and what we’ve been through so many times before.
Go ahead and fall into the same trap just like after the ATL game.
Jesus… Dumbasses!
October 11th, 2016 at 5:38 pm
25 is generous for this team. Last night was a comedy of errors and the Panthers just more. Our defense is getting better but still has breakdowns. Why they won’t cover Olsen is beyond me though. He kills us every time we play them. Dear Bucs, please watch film on Greg Olsen next time.
October 11th, 2016 at 5:43 pm
Joes,
How many teams in the NFL would you bet the mortgage on the Bucs beating?
NONE! Not even the freakin Browns!
This team has a long way to go an y’all have the beaten wife syndrome, telling your girlfriends “He’s a changed man, things are great now”. Then you order the wrong thing off the menu at your anniversary dinner, you see that look in his eyes and you know you’re getting your a** beat!
Break out the foundation to cover those bruises!
SMDH!
October 11th, 2016 at 5:45 pm
It could be worse!!! If coach my scheme was still here, the Bucs would have been ranked 33!!!! ( maybe 32 if the Bucs fired the incompetent one midseason after 5 straight blowouts and an 0-5 record!!!!!
Go Bucs!!!!!
October 11th, 2016 at 5:47 pm
I find some of the stuff I read about the Bucs and the MNF game to be pretty comical. Gruden said “neither team deserved to win”, well I say one team did deserve to win and that happened to be the Bucs. We have had a tough schedule out of the gate and have been stung pretty bad by injuries to key players. Yes, Carolina turned the ball over 4 times but the Bucs did recover fumbles and if Grimes does not intercept that ball in the end zone, this game probably is a loss. Give some credit where credit is due. The Bucs do have a lot to work on in order to improve such as: Winston’s slow starts and high number of overthrows, Agauyo obviously needs to vastly improve and hopefully making a high pressure game winning FG on MNF will help his psyche, the pass rush must get better which should get a boost after the bye week if some of the starters can return, and Koetter has to get better at managing his play calling and clock management. This team went to Atlanta and beat a pretty good Falcon team when we were healthy, so I believe we are not as terrible as some people want to portray us as being. This is a very young team with a rookie HC and it is going to take a little time and patience. Frankly, the games we have won are HUGE TAMPA HUGE…2-0 NFC South record and both on the road is pretty good regardless of how they looked. The game last night was pretty ugly but the final score was BEAUTIFUL!!! GO BUCS!!!!
October 11th, 2016 at 6:01 pm
Did i miss the fireworks?
Did jenna laine ask koetter about why he flipped out about the 10 second runoff? She must be in climax to ask that question. Lol
“I want to grab jenna right in her p####y!” koetter the clown
October 11th, 2016 at 6:04 pm
Why is there nobody talking about when the referee shoved coach koetter?!
Koetter looked like he was gonna drop kick the ref before his players had to pull him back, lol!
Seeing your head coach about to KO a ref would have pumped me to the max! Does JOE or anyone have any thoughts on that?
October 11th, 2016 at 6:19 pm
Sounds about right. The Bucs just squeeked by with a win against another bad team.
I am suprised to say that the defense exceeded my expectations I had made based on watching the first four games. Thats not saying much though as Anderson easily passed the ball around
The run game looked really good with Rodgers but man it hurts to say that Jameis overall has been pretty bad.over the first five games. Week 1 he looked pretty sharp, and since than has been throwing high at everyonre. I love how he forgets and moves on and isnt haunted by the mistakes he makes, but hes not reading defenses as good as he should be. Oline needs to improve with pass protection.
October 11th, 2016 at 6:21 pm
Bucboi….that had me FIRED UP!
Reminded me alot of Joe Madden at the Rays he would go out and get thrown out of a game just to fire up the team.and be laughing about it after the game. I felt like Koetter was being a little more dramatic and its had a positive effect on the team.
October 11th, 2016 at 6:36 pm
Wow…
Sounds like some are actually upset that we won….Looking for a high draft pick already?
I’m hearing…..Koetter called a terrible game….Jameis was off…..we let Olsen run wild….up 4 on turnovers and “barely squeeked by”……stupid penalties, missed kicks….the only difference is that we won.
How many times have we been on the losing end of games like this?
Can we not have a small hiatus from all the negativity and simply enjoy a rare victory?
October 11th, 2016 at 6:38 pm
I for one, feel that everything is better with a V. The drive home is better, waking up the next day is better, heck, even the Buccaneer cheerleaders look better today!
October 11th, 2016 at 6:41 pm
Just wondering and I could be wrong as I don’t replay the games like some here do. I have seen a few posts about Koetter going bananas about not getting a 10 second run off, which there should not have been, but what I saw when the camera panned back to the field was they had not moved the Panthers back 5 yards. The announcers were too busy talking and didn’t say anything about it. Then they went back to Koetter for a while then the Panthers were moved back the 5 yards. Any chance he was going nuts about that? Maybe the Refs got confused? Could one of you guys that watch the tape or replay the game look at that and let me know if I’m nuts?
October 11th, 2016 at 6:46 pm
Somehow….I think Koetter knows the rule…..he may be a rookie head coach but he’s been around a while.
October 11th, 2016 at 6:48 pm
Ranking-shmanking… just another paycheck for someone that sells ads. Just like the unanimous pick of the Panters to win by all the “experts” LOL
October 11th, 2016 at 6:52 pm
A win is a win. It does feel good to win. It expecially feels good to beat the Panthers which hasn’t happened in half a decade. The problem is the amount of mistakes we make every week. This week was no different. This team has no chance to make any noise in the league if they are going to keep making rookie mistakes so often. It be nice just once to see this team prove they can play professional football.
October 11th, 2016 at 7:01 pm
Our opinion or someone else’s opinions have no barring on the outcome of the game.
Hard to believe this is a buccaneers fan site with all the hate shown towards the team.
Koetter was right about winning change needed and I think it should start with so called buccaneers fans. What a sorry bunch we are.
October 11th, 2016 at 7:10 pm
@tampabaybucfan
I thought Head Coach Koetter answered it in his press conference, that he was arguing with the Ref that momentum had been stop and the play should have been called done inbounds, but that he got wash out of bounds which stop the clock, and then does not get the 10 second run off.
October 11th, 2016 at 7:19 pm
Listen our Bucs got a win but they hardly deserve a significant jump in power rankings. Winston had a few bright passes but was largely in accurate last night. We won have had many more points had he not over thrown many wide open recievers.
I can’t wait to see Winston pull it together. Almost had another boneheaded turnover but atleast he didn’t throw a pick.
October 11th, 2016 at 7:22 pm
The local media covering this team have been calling the bucs garbage for 3 weeks…. They barely beat the panthers without their best player so did anyone really expect a surge in rankings for that win? They would have had to win in dramatic and convincing fashion which they didn’t do.
These rankings are really meaningless and the one I care about is the son loss record at the end of the seasons that’s when you truly know where you’re team ranks
October 11th, 2016 at 7:27 pm
@rayjay
Nice post. Appreciate it.
October 11th, 2016 at 7:44 pm
Well deserved place. Number 25.
WE are staring at an 8-8 team like I’ve been saying all along.
Oh and PRB….GO Noles baby!
October 11th, 2016 at 8:28 pm
Hey, over looked on all this is that we saw a different Jameis lastnight. He took his shots down field when the time was right. He checked down when the time was right and he was responsible for zero turn overs.
Sure, it wasnt a great game but it was a complete change in game plan from, look for the tall guy and sling it. I like what I saw. I think they realized that Jameis doesnt have to make every plan to find success.
And by the way, Rogers is a huge upgrade from Sims, although, Sims will be missed in the passing game, we are ok.
October 11th, 2016 at 8:36 pm
i was looking at the schedule…
both atlanta and us can be 7-7 with 2 weeks to go
thursday night game will be huge at the rj stadium in a few weeks
sweep head 2 head with atlanta means we win the division tie break
October 11th, 2016 at 8:42 pm
25th sounds about right to me. There can’t be too many teams worse than us right now. That game was horrible last night and we are lucky we are NOT one of the 1-4 teams in the league. Hope we get better after the bye.
October 11th, 2016 at 9:07 pm
Some people here exhibit a total lack of awareness!!!
Does a moron posting as Koetterthedumbass not realize he/she is saying so much more about him/herself than Koetter.
Again I know it’s a sports blog but some of you guys have educations!!
Some of you need to look up the word hyperbole. And I can see at least one of you needs to look up “projection”.
It’s fine to disagree with a coach’s decisions but it’s freaking five games into the season!!!! To make such a pronouncement is ignorant at best and just hating at worst.
October 11th, 2016 at 9:13 pm
Respect is earned. It’s 5 games into a 16 game season. Last night was a very ugly win. A good team would have put that game away at halftime. Until we bury teams that are gifting us turnovers we don’t deserve to be in the convarsation of the top half of the league.
If our injured guys heal up over the bye and we bury San Fran then maybe there is a gripe to be made, until then, nope.
October 11th, 2016 at 9:19 pm
Honestly who gives a rip about rankings when you’re 2-3 and barely capable of beating a team with a backup QB that gifted you 4 turnovers? All I know is the Bucs are above the Browns. To say they’re better than anyone else is just arguing over nothing important.
October 11th, 2016 at 9:37 pm
Just wondering where is Bighog and his countdown of wins? Did I miss his post today about how many wins is still needed to better his best friend? I can’t imagine he wouldn’t show up after such a big win, what gives?
October 11th, 2016 at 9:37 pm
They are garbage based upon what I watched lastnight. Defense got shredded by Andersen and Olsen AGAIN and dumb mistakes on both sides. Jameis at times can’t hit wide open players and no one sees the corners lined up for the blitz. Bucs should have won handily. Be happy Scam Newton wasn’t playing No thanks again to AarrggueyNoooo missing 2 more chump field goals got him and Licht on the hot seat. Those of us who supported that pick are eating some serious crow. So how is 25th spot a diss? Only teams we can beat now are the Browns a Phins a few others a crap shoot.
October 11th, 2016 at 9:50 pm
So david big you are just going to ignore the fact that our defense was without McCoy, Ayers, McDonald, Smith, and Noah Spence playing limited snaps. I guess their injuries hurt them but ours are not a factor. What are some of you guys smoking?
October 11th, 2016 at 9:52 pm
Yeah we won the game cause of Panther turnovers.
So what, that’s normal in this league. The games we lost we turned it over.
Part of football.
October 11th, 2016 at 9:53 pm
@DavidBigBucsFan99 … “Be happy Scam Newton wasn’t playing.” Both teams had mile-long injury lists … you could say the same about the Bucs missing McCoy, McDonald, Ayers, Martin, Sims, Stocker etc. Both teams are also struggling at this point in the season, but for different reasons. They do share one common issue though: their kickers are NOT having good seasons. Gano cost the Panthers a win in Game 1, and missed a key FG last night. Aguayo is now 4-for-8 on the season, and I still think his kicking cost the Bucs a win in the Rams game (changed the game plan). But it is what it is … Bucs are 2-3, are pretty well beaten up, and aren’t playing nearly as well as almost everyone expected. Not yet … but they will.
October 11th, 2016 at 9:59 pm
Ranking 25 is being generous, until they string some victories together and show improvement they will be at bottom. Barely squeezing a win with +4 turnovers isn’t impressing anybody.
I would have mad if the Browns were ranked higher, the way we’ve been the last 4 games I’m not sure if we are better than any of the other 30 teams.
October 11th, 2016 at 10:49 pm
N Dog
I think Big Slob is hanging out with NOS BOS and trying to reformulate their particular brands of ridiculous BS.
October 11th, 2016 at 10:52 pm
…….Just wait on it.
October 11th, 2016 at 11:06 pm
Some DELUSIONAL BUC fans need to face reality, we are not a good football team. We beat the 1-4 Panthers, they did everything in their power to gift wrap us the game. And we didn’t want the game, 4 turnovers to none, and you win on a game ending FG. Dirk Koetter was trying to run out the clock on the final drive, Ron Rivera gave us more time by using his timeouts. I’m not sold on us beating 1-4 teams by a FG, especially a team without their All-Pro QB. String together a 4-5 game winning streak, then fans will believe.
October 11th, 2016 at 11:16 pm
doosh…now you’re just being a DOUCHE fan instead of being a BUCS fan.
NOS… IS a Bucs fan, I’m a fan of dooshlarue and NOSBOS on this site. Great contributors!
BigSLOB as you call him is not exactly in the same world as NOSBOS. NOSBOS is a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. BigStinky is here to bash for some odd reason as if this team needs ANYMORE bashing.
They won on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. A game in which NONE of you and I mean NONE of you had them pegged as winning. Me I thought they had a chance, but that’s besides the point.
BigStinky…you’re are an a-hole.(Sorry Joe you’re going to have to understand) That’s what you are and that’s what you’ve been since you’ve entered this glorious site. I suppose that’s what you’ve always been in your life. That’s the truth and anyone that’s read your posts knows it. The site has the name “FAN” in it and I’m really starting to wonder about you. You come of out of nowhere on this site and make proclamations of near hatred towards our(your?) team.
Any REAL fan would be happy today no matter the way the Bucs won, but NOT BigStinky. An A-hole through and through. Not a REAL fan and it’s not often I call these people out.
October 11th, 2016 at 11:41 pm
Lakeland…that’s what it takes for you?
A 4-5 game win streak?
Well then I’m MILES behind you. Carry on with your quest. That won’t happen until NEXT season.
I like your posts most of the time, but you might need to snap back to reality just a bit.
I’m sorry, it’s late but my gawd some of you need to come down to earth as to WHAT you expected this team to be in 2016.
This TEAM keeps recycling coaches every 2-4 years and give this first year coach a break for ef’s sake.
4-5 game winning streak? I can’t talk to fans like you anymore. I have no idea where you are coming from when you talk 4-5 game winning streaks during Koetter’s first season as a HC with a 2nd yr QB. YOU fans are being unrealistic, and that includes YOU Joe. You as a FAN knows this.
I understand the impatience, but SOME of you guys want miracles at this point.
You want Raheem back? You want Schiano or Lovie back?
Guess what? They are NOT coming back.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
YOU bitc*ed about Raheem, Schiano, Lovie, this, that and the other. Now it’s onto Koetter, the next victim. Talkin about 4-5 game streaks and shyte.
THIS FAN BASE NEEDS TO WAKE UP TO REALITY!
You ARE a fan of the WORST team in the NFL. YOU take what you can get. Every WIN in every season MEANS something to you. Winning 4-5 in a row is MIRACULOUS at this poin in time. YET some you EXPECT it… and give me a break. Buc up and grow a pair. Yes that means a lot of you.
That was profound huh Joe? Well your site is starting to bring that out in me.
October 11th, 2016 at 11:48 pm
Thanks Joe for allowing it all to go through for now….I wanted to get in here all day long cause I Lknew the Negative Nancy’s would still be out in full force. Tis is JBF afterall.
October 12th, 2016 at 12:14 am
Joe you homer bucs are still really really bad god bless em!
October 12th, 2016 at 12:26 am
87′ I’m a Bucs fan so that blocked PAT on saturday was fully expected lolol
October 12th, 2016 at 12:34 am
1987
I am a Buc’s fan for sure and also a fan of yours…. thanks for the kind words. I just got sick of NOSBOS and he’s outlandish rhetoric and noticed he disappeared for the 2nd year in a row after we didn’t live up to his “expectations”. That’s a fair-weathered fan and having been a loyal fan since 1976 it bothers me.
But we beat the Panthers and are 2-0 in our division!
So you’re right……and I’ll focus on that.
Anyway, I’m stoked we got the win and I think we’ll get our problems worked out soon, not all, but most and continue to be a young team that’s on the rise.
Go Bucs!
October 12th, 2016 at 3:31 am
Based on their performance in 3 of their 5 games, 25th is probably fair. If the defense improves, they get healthy, and Jameis gets himself straightened out, they could easily be middle of the pack by late season.
