“Boom!”
September 5th, 2016Man, what a weekend of college football. It has Joe so friggin’ jacked for the Bucs and the NFL this weekend. Joe can hardly stop guzzling the Bud Light.
(If you could sleep right away after watching that Notre Dame-Texas double-overtime game last night, you don’t have a pulse.)
So this brings Joe to good guy Vinnie Iyer of The Sporting News. Every year there is a breakout player who rises from the pack to NFL elite. And this year, Iyer predicts America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, will rise to NFL stardom.
Like Cam Newton and Andrew Luck before him, Winston will embrace his immense physical potential as a No. 1 overall pick. Sure, it’s no-brainer and Winston even made the Pro Bowl as a replacement as a rookie. This year, it won’t be a mild nudge to the next level for this sharp all-around passer, but rather an all-out boom for the Bucs.
Look, Joe’s been on Jameis’ bandwagon years before the Bucs drafted him. Joe expects big things from the guy.
But if Jameis skyrockets like some folks believe he will this year, Joe can’t help but think the Bucs will ride Jameis’ back to some thrilling football.
After all, only twice since 2008 have the Bucs played a meaningful game(s) in December. It’s about time this nonsense stops and the Bucs pretend to be a legitimate NFL team for a change.

So yesterday I stated I don’t expect the Buccs to take a step,I believe they will take a leap. Everyday I provide my reasoning, monster run game along wit a mean pass rush. I leave out. what I think Famous will do in year two on purpose. But make no mistake all Famous needed was one walk thru season in the NFL. Its own now Famous in year two will look like a five year vet. If not more. Obviously there are people in the sports world that see the same thing I see coming. Unlike many daily poster’s here on jbf.

Jameis will lead the bucs to multiple super bowls and easily become greatest and most important buc of all time.

I agree NoSBoS that the Bucs will take a leap forward this year. But I think what’ll be different is that we’ll start winning the close games … that to me is what makes the difference between contenders and pretenders. For the first time in many years, we’ve got the 3 elements in-place that it takes to win close games I think. We’ve got an offense that can come back in the 4th qtr for one. For another, I’m confident that we’ve got a defense that can keep the other team from coming back in the 4th qtr. And lastly, it looks like we’ve now got a kicker who can put points on the board when you absolutely have to have them (I know he hit a small rough spot, but the kid’s a winner and he’ll come through in the clutch). I still think we’ll end up 10-6 and (hopefully) get into the playoffs. Whether 10-6 would get us in isn’t totally within our control unfortunately.

The way Godzilla and Jaboo were connecting on the long pass in preseason i think they have found their chemistry and if we can get MIA i mean ASJ to grow chemistry with Jaboo our offense will be unstoppable.VJax already makes contested ca5ches about 95% of the time thrown his way.i have a wacky prediction JOE. 33Bucs Recievers will have 1,000yd season and 2 with double digit TDs!jameis wil have 40+ TDs 10+rushing TDs over 4,500 passing yards and just 15INTs.sounds crazy but if hes going to take a big leap this year and put the Bay area on the map thats what its going to take to make opponents fear us in the Ray Jay and when we visit.

A potential All-Star/All-Pro Offense maturing in Tampa Bay??? Scratching my head. I didn’t think I’d live long enough to see a SB Win. Check. Bucs are known for great Defenses and good STs. Check. A good/great Bucs Offense added to them? Ye gods, Yeow!! For real??? SMH. Go Tampa Bay!! 🙂

It’s cheap, gets you drunk, and doesn’t fill you up. Think that’s all most football fans care about.
