Joe is pumped up to end the season of meaningless preseason games.
Bang it here with comments on the game. What player should not be cut tomorrow; who inevitably gets injured, which cheerleaders looks good while soaked, etc.

Our high school’s JV game got cancelled for tomorrow night so I’m glad the NFL has obliged me with one of their own! Always like the last game for the underdog feel good stories. Go Bucs! Stay healthy!!

Seriously though, I know a lot of us enjoy bickerong back and forth here on the forum about players and everything Bucs, but for those in the cross hairs of the storm be safe down there. I believe it’s because the Redskins are the away team. I’ve normally seen NFLN do that (at least on the preseason game replays. they’d usually switch to the home team commentary in the second half).

I think you’re mistaken. Those of us (me included) that DON’T believe that Glennon has IT to be a QB are hoping that he some how pulls it together tonight.
This is his big audition to the rest of the league, specifically the Vikings. If he can’t put something good on film tonight, our chances of getting something for him vs losing him for nothing, goes WAY down.

Here is the best stat of the night and easily the highlight will be if Koetter comes to the postgame presser and says well we got through with no injuries!

Disgusted at some of Lovie’s boys effort, not really surprising…
On the Brown touchdown run, Banks just gave up. A defensive player should be angry about a big run and try to get him regardless. Especially if you are trying to save your job.
Then ASF tips the ball up, ok with that, given a high but catchable ball and the rain. What is unforgivable is him just standing there after. The Washington player cared enough to catch it, why not ASF? ASF didn’t even bother to step over to touch him. Even pee wee football players know a “tip drill.”

Poor asj koetter is really socking it to him. This is chance to show what he’s got or potentially a trade audition he’s leaving him out there with bottom of the barrell guys who can’t even get him the ball. I would me upset too. Him and Kenny bell have not gotten a fair shake. Our backup qbs are a big concern trade mike glennon for a fourth and cordarelle Patterson . You would be lucky to get a ham sandwich . His time on the bench has really made him regress . I must admit I used to think he was qb of of the future big fan . His rookie season slinging it all over in the preseason

Spence might be out there to give him practice on a wet field. For defensive ends its tough to turn the corner when it’s wet. It’s also a injury risk so I’d take him out.

I get it, quick turn around, really wet conditions, but I have not seen a half that bad since I coached my kids pee wee football team. You would think that the players would know that this could be the last time they don an NFL uniform, at some point pride or survival kicks in. The sad part about the defense, most of those guys are not in there first year with the exception of N. Spence, R. Smith and Luke Rhodes. Where is the great Danny Vitale (oh each, he was a 6th round pick)
